I booked a guesthouse in the Danxia Mountain scenic area in a rush, and it didn't disappoint! The mattress was a bit firm, but since I was very tired from climbing Yangyuan Mountain, I slept very well and comfortably. The only downside was that the showerhead in the bathroom had water that was too hot and the water pressure wasn't high enough.

Stayed for two consecutive days, the experience was absolutely amazing! On the day I arrived, the front desk lady greeted me warmly and took me to familiarize myself with various facilities. The rooms are exquisitely furnished and the bedding is soft and comfortable. On weekdays, the public areas are clean and the green plants are vibrant. The hotel is right at the door of the park gate (the one to access the cable car) and in a quiet and pleasant location. The front desk staff was lovely and even offered to upgrade me to a slightly bigger room. It was clean although the bathroom was small and had an unpleasant smell (although it was clean). Overall, a decent place to stay, and the location is definitely the area to sleep if you visit Danxia mountain. I stayed 2 nights and if you want to explore the whole park, 2 days sound about right.
