Hotels with Parking in Jiayuguan

Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

Lots of good things to say about this older property. First of all its amazing location in the bustling part of town with shops, restaurants, a market and street food stands nearby. The beds are kept up to date with excellent mattresses and crisp clean linens. The housekeeping is excellent and the rooms have full amenities. Unfortunately rooms in building 2 have a fair bit of issues with the air-conditioning system, plumbing and the toilets. We moved rooms 3 times during our day of check in. The hotel dealt with the issues professionally as expected from a four star property and in the end I have nothing but praise about my five days stay here. Finally for those that come with their own car, the parking lot is huge. Even if every guest in the hotel would show up with their own car it will never be full. The Jiayuguan Hotel in Jiayuguan is definitely an excellent choice of stay. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location is perfect, right at the entrance to the scenic area. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. They speak English and can provide recommendations. I think it’s a really friendly hostel, and it’s easy to make friends here. Jiejie even took us for a drive near the desert so we could get a closer view of the snow-capped mountains. It truly was a great stay!

Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. High-end restaurant in the building. I don't know where breakfast was served. There is no sauna or massage and should be removed from the profile. There are many massages places near by.

The external environment is good. The room is in the backyard, far away from the road. It is quiet and full of fruits. You can sit in front of the house and rest. There is a fully automatic washing machine that residents can use, and it is also convenient to dry clothes. There are several restaurants around and it is convenient to eat. There is also a farmer's market not far away, which sells fruits, vegetables, breakfast cakes, soy milk and eight-treasure porridge, etc., which are relatively cheap. The room is relatively large, but the bathroom is relatively small, there is no window and no exhaust fan, and it smells a bit.

I have three criteria when booking a hotel: a separate wet/dry shower area, a laundry room, and breakfast. Ibis perfectly met all my requirements, offering a washer, dryer, and detergent. Plus, the washing machines have only two settings, which saves everyone time. In Europe, Ibis is my go-to for budget accommodation, and the Jiayuguan Ibis offers excellent value for money. It's no exaggeration to say it's just a two-minute walk from Jiayuguan Station with your luggage, and multiple bus routes start right outside the hotel. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly. The room was new, very clean, and had a huge TV. Everything about it was excellent. On top of that, the hotel hosts meetings for large state-owned companies, and you know what that means – it's a good hotel!

Great location near the lake, an easy drive to the three major Great Wall attractions and the food street is just a block away with some amazing restaurants, bars and even an 8 ball hall. The staff at the hotel were great and very attentive, especially with breakfast. Beef noodles were a great start to the day and the chef makes the hand-stretched noodles in front of you. The hotel manager had his honey moon in Australia and took time to introduce himself and make us feel welcome. Free easy parking underneath too. Rooms were clean with a good view. If we come back this way we will stay here again!

The hotel is super close to Jiayuguan City Sports Center, just a 700-meter walk to the start/finish line of the Jiayuguan Great Wall Marathon 🏁. The interior design has a strong Northwestern feel, and even the room key fobs are unique. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need, and a robot delivers your takeout. The disposable slippers provided in the room are also quite distinctive; I sometimes wear them at the office when I feel anxious, telling myself: 'No worldly desires' (no offense intended, just a little abstract thought). It's comfortable and also close to Jiayuguan Airport, with accurate positioning and easy taxi access.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right beside the Jiayuguan Scenic Area Tourist Service Centre and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. The most beautiful aspect of the property is its surroundings. It feels like a charming cottage with a historical touch, yet it offers all the modern amenities one could need. The service is also excellent, with everything taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently. The staff even arranged a drop-off to the Jiayuguan section of the Great Wall, which was greatly appreciated. One simply has to stay at this place for the experience alone. It is not just accommodation; it becomes an integral part of the whole Jiayuguan experience.
