A single painting instantly brought warmth to the entire room – a masterpiece by the owner, truly! The three-cannister tea set and the foot bath infused with medicinal herbs were such thoughtful touches. After seeing the impressive fortress, it was so relaxing to sip tea and soak my feet. The young lady (staff member) was absolutely fantastic! She's a strongwoman (helped with luggage) and an excellent guide (showed us a shortcut to the scenic area). Make sure you leave time for breakfast – it's colorful, flavorful, nutritious, and delicious! Did you see the cute little bunny on the egg? It made my whole day! 😸❤ Having such a great employee, you, the owner, must be secretly thrilled. Oh, and by the way, the wild mushroom and free-range chicken soup she recommended (at Changchun Garden) was incredibly delicious!

Very clean and cozy room. Parking on the street was quite convenient. The room came with amenities like a foot bath and purified water. The guesthouse itself was thoughtfully decorated, with some fun features on the ground floor. You can even see the snowy mountains from here!

The doorman was quick to help me with my luggage, which I really appreciated! The front desk staff were very attentive, providing complimentary hand cream, wet wipes, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Although the duvet and sheets weren't brand new, they were spotless. As always, there were White Rabbit candies and nougat in a small bowl. I called for 6-8 bottles of mineral water (to boil Chinese medicine), and a robot delivered 8 bottles very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with my favorite NFC peach juice, and the wontons and xiaolongbao were great. Just a couple of suggestions: It would be better if the fried dough sticks for breakfast weren't fried too far in advance, as they get a bit tough when cold. Also, the shampoo makes my hair feel a bit dry, so I'd recommend adding conditioner.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the best experience of my entire Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the mattress was just the right firmness, very comfortable, and there were plenty of office-friendly amenities, including desks, chairs, and lamps. The hotel service was exceptional; arguably the best I've experienced in a budget hotel. The front desk staff proactively recommended sightseeing options and restaurants, all of which were delicious (the food we ate at the tourist attractions the previous days was both expensive and terrible). The hotel is located in the old food district of Fuqiang Market. Perhaps because it's an older area, the streets outside were quite run-down, which initially dampened my spirits. However, the hotel experience truly offered a contrast, and the nearby restaurants were frequented by locals. I highly recommend staying here. The hotel's location is quite good, being close to the Great Wall tourist area. Since it's a suite, the room hygiene is good, and it has its own private parking lot. However, during peak season, you might have to rush for a spot, and there doesn't seem to be any security management in the lot, leading to some haphazard parking. The breakfast is excellent; it's small but has everything you need. The front desk service is also good, and food deliveries can come directly into the hotel. The audio-visual room is fantastic, with a particularly large projector and screen.

Perfect for families with kids! The room was spacious and odor-free, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We all slept soundly. The front desk staff were really friendly, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for those traveling with children.

This place has an amazing vibe! I met some incredibly kind people, and a lot of international travelers too. We all sat around at night, drinking beer, eating sunflower seeds, and chatting about our dreams. Jiayuguan was a really important stop on my journey through China! And a big bonus is that it's super close to the Jiayuguan Fort scenic area!

The decor, service, and quality at Zhifei Yiguan are all reasons why I'd happily stay there again! The disposable toilet seat covers were a nice touch and made me feel at ease. The staff were also very friendly and even thoughtfully asked if I needed extra water!

There was renovation in front of the hotel and it was quite dusty. There are not many restaurants around the hotel. We were given the choice of room that had less smoking smell. The room was quiet, spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Staying at the Jiayuguan Tuzu Hotel was a truly comfortable and down-to-earth experience. The hotel has a distinct local style that feels simple yet grand, without being overly flashy. My room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep, and there was plenty of hot water for a convenient shower. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, patiently answering all my questions. The location is excellent, not far from XiongGuan Square and Datang Food Street, making it easy to grab a bite or go for a stroll. The breakfast offered local flavors, which were quite enjoyable. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money. It was a worry-free and comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town and recommend it to my friends.
