A single painting instantly brought warmth to the entire room – a masterpiece by the owner, truly! The three-cannister tea set and the foot bath infused with medicinal herbs were such thoughtful touches. After seeing the impressive fortress, it was so relaxing to sip tea and soak my feet. The young lady (staff member) was absolutely fantastic! She's a strongwoman (helped with luggage) and an excellent guide (showed us a shortcut to the scenic area). Make sure you leave time for breakfast – it's colorful, flavorful, nutritious, and delicious! Did you see the cute little bunny on the egg? It made my whole day! 😸❤ Having such a great employee, you, the owner, must be secretly thrilled. Oh, and by the way, the wild mushroom and free-range chicken soup she recommended (at Changchun Garden) was incredibly delicious!

The owner was very cheerful, the scenery was beautiful, and the breakfast was great. The river view with lights at night was lovely, the sky was very blue, and there was a nice breeze. Breakfast was especially healthy and came with cute eggs. They also offer a pick-up service.

The doorman was quick to help me with my luggage, which I really appreciated! The front desk staff were very attentive, providing complimentary hand cream, wet wipes, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Although the duvet and sheets weren't brand new, they were spotless. As always, there were White Rabbit candies and nougat in a small bowl. I called for 6-8 bottles of mineral water (to boil Chinese medicine), and a robot delivered 8 bottles very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with my favorite NFC peach juice, and the wontons and xiaolongbao were great. Just a couple of suggestions: It would be better if the fried dough sticks for breakfast weren't fried too far in advance, as they get a bit tough when cold. Also, the shampoo makes my hair feel a bit dry, so I'd recommend adding conditioner.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the best experience of my entire Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the mattress was just the right firmness, very comfortable, and there were plenty of office-friendly amenities, including desks, chairs, and lamps. The hotel service was exceptional; arguably the best I've experienced in a budget hotel. The front desk staff proactively recommended sightseeing options and restaurants, all of which were delicious (the food we ate at the tourist attractions the previous days was both expensive and terrible). The hotel is located in the old food district of Fuqiang Market. Perhaps because it's an older area, the streets outside were quite run-down, which initially dampened my spirits. However, the hotel experience truly offered a contrast, and the nearby restaurants were frequented by locals. I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is easy to find; navigation takes you right to the entrance. There's ample parking both in front and in the back courtyard, which is super convenient for those traveling by car—no need to worry about finding a spot. Even though it was a holiday with many guests, after checking in, the residential building beyond the lobby was very quiet with good soundproofing, allowing for a restful stay. It's understandable that the hotel was busy during the holiday, and overall, the cleanliness was good, making for a comfortable and accommodating experience.

Perfect for families with kids! The room was spacious and odor-free, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We all slept soundly. The front desk staff were really friendly, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for those traveling with children.

This place has an amazing vibe! I met some incredibly kind people, and a lot of international travelers too. We all sat around at night, drinking beer, eating sunflower seeds, and chatting about our dreams. Jiayuguan was a really important stop on my journey through China! And a big bonus is that it's super close to the Jiayuguan Fort scenic area!

The room was a bit smaller than we thought, especially the bathroom. But it's ok for an overnight stay. The staff was helpful and showed us the laundry room, which was a bonus for us motorcycle travellers. Breakfast was good with a good selection. The only thing is, it's advertised as a coffee hotel but we have to pay for the coffee, only instead coffee was free in the room. We've stayed in a coffee hotel before and espresso coffee was free.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The front desk staff were super enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. The room was also spotlessly clean. Plus, the parking lot is huge and even has charging stations and car washing facilities – very comprehensive!

Staying at the Jiayuguan Tuzu Hotel was a truly comfortable and down-to-earth experience. The hotel has a distinct local style that feels simple yet grand, without being overly flashy. My room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep, and there was plenty of hot water for a convenient shower. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, patiently answering all my questions. The location is excellent, not far from XiongGuan Square and Datang Food Street, making it easy to grab a bite or go for a stroll. The breakfast offered local flavors, which were quite enjoyable. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money. It was a worry-free and comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town and recommend it to my friends.
