This was our first time visiting Sanqingshan Mountain, and going during off-peak season definitely meant less crowds. We took the Gangshou Cableway up to Jinsha and down, a painless hike. The guesthouse owner was incredibly kind; he helped us plan our route and reminded us to bring an extra jacket for the kids as it gets windy on the mountain. The jacket proved invaluable; otherwise, they would have definitely caught a cold. There were also adorable kittens to pet, which the kids loved.

The room was clean and tidy. Disposable toilet seat covers, disposable towel sets, and even the toilet paper was in its own packaging, which was very reassuring. Although there's no elevator, the owner will help with your luggage, so you don't have to worry about carrying heavy bags. It's very close to the Gangshou Cableway, and the owner will walk you to the cableway entrance. On our first night, we ate at the restaurant instead of going out. The stir-fried dishes were delicious, very good local-style stir-fries. The rice noodles for breakfast were also good. They give you a small dish of chili sauce with the noodles, which was also delicious; I even bought a bottle to take home and mix with my noodles. After visiting Sanqingshan, I took a bus to Wuyuan from the Jinsha Cableway area of ​​Sanqingshan. The bus stops in Gangshou, and the owner offered to take my luggage to the parking area. I could just load my luggage and get off at the next stop. No need to take the shuttle bus back to Gangshou to retrieve my luggage, which was very convenient. The location is excellent, and the environment is also very nice. It's a long-established government-run guesthouse in Dexing, and it's been renovated in recent years, with upgraded facilities and services—quite good. I brought friends to Dexing during the New Year's holiday, and it cost just over 200 yuan a night, which was quite reasonable. The heating is also very effective in winter; my friends from Guangdong didn't freeze to death.

I was so lucky to book this guesthouse; it was even more cozy than the pictures!
