99GThe best view among all the hotels in Sydney! A truly classic location! A postcard-perfect view! The service was also excellent and attentive! The staff were friendly, professional, and patient! Thank you to the staff for going to the rooftop to retrieve our dropped items. I also recommend sunbathing by the pool!
FFrank XiaThis hotel offers an exceptionally comfortable sleep experience! What's fantastic is that the room is free from any allergenic odors and light that could disturb sleep. The bedding is comfortable, and the temperature is just right for a good night's rest. In terms of sleep quality, it's among the top hotels I've stayed at, even compared to many ultra-luxury 5-star properties. The room type is very spacious, and it comes with a sofa bed, which is great for families with children. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, and within short walking distance to the Opera House and the wharf. The service is impeccable and faultless. The only minor drawback is that the restaurant breakfast is quite mediocre. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sydney.
GGuest UserWe chose a one-bedroom apartment for our 5-day stay in Sydney. The hotel's location is superb, the apartment was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with coffee pods replenished daily. We enjoyed breakfast in the apartment with a beautiful view. There's a convenience store downstairs where you can buy essentials. In the mornings, we'd go for a run along the waterfront, right in the heart of the city. There are cafes and restaurants to suit every taste. The rooftop pool offers a wonderful view of the harbor.
GGuest UserExtremely close to Circular Quay, with a food street nearby and a market on weekends. It's super convenient to walk to Circular Quay, catch the light rail, or take a whale-watching cruise. The rooftop pool offers simultaneous views of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from the top floor. Picture one was taken right outside the entrance, and picture two shows the breakfast menu board; breakfast was quite good.
WWenmenglThis was the first booking I made for this trip and the last hotel I checked into. I booked it even before leaving home. Shangri-La's standards are quite high and reliable. The location is excellent, just a few hundred meters' walk from the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, and Barangaroo Park. Sydney Opera House is just past Circular Quay. They even upgraded my room, thank you! The hotel's pre-authorization process is standard: the final charge and refund are processed under the original pre-authorization. There's no need for additional steps. The data provided to decision-makers, regarding resident or external guest consumption, influences future business strategies; some domestic hotels have even shifted their focus to F&B. The hotel's introduction should also be rewritten. It needs to clearly state which floor the pool and gym are on, as well as the restaurant's location, operating hours, and cuisine style. Many hotels in China indicate relevant restaurants, fitness centers, etc., next to the elevator floor buttons.
GGuest UserThe highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning view from our room and balcony—absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t have been better, with most attractions within walking distance. Watching the Vivid Light Show from the comfort of our balcony was a particularly memorable experience.
However, the room itself was quite dated and in need of refurbishment. The carpet was noticeably worn with dark patches, and parts of the bathroom were peeling. On the plus side, housekeeping did service the room daily, which was appreciated.
One downside was the misleading information about parking. Although the website mentioned parking, there was none available on-site. We had to use Wilson's parking next door, which came at a steep price.
All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for the location and views alone, but be prepared for a room that’s seen better days.
