Our room was beautifully designed, featuring chic decor, a plush bed, and a private balcony offering stunning views of the Adelaide skyline. The little touches, like locally inspired artwork and a welcome treat, made us feel truly special.
The rooftop infinity pool was a highlight, where we spent our afternoons soaking up the sun and admiring the city views. Dining at the hotelâs restaurant was a culinary delightâfresh, locally sourced ingredients paired with an intimate ambiance made every meal memorable.

YYYHKandMACAUThe location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a 5 to 10-minute walk away. Getting to Adelaide city center or the airport by car takes only 15 to 30 minutes.
The hotel features a bar where you can enjoy a drink and some gaming facilities if you fancy a few rounds.
While the hotel is a bit dated, it's clean and the rooms are spacious.
Breakfast was average, with limited food choices, although the view from the breakfast area was quite nice.
The paid parking isn't in the hotel building itself; it's across the street, a mere 30 steps away, so be prepared to carry your luggage.

Mmiweekend Janice BehThe overall experience swings to both extremes â some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing.
Good:
New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property.
Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.
Wide variety of in-room beverages.
Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours).
Bad:
No self-service laundry â a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel.
Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain â very odd design.
Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox⊠forget it.
Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didnât wash the mugs and glasses, didnât clear used plates, didnât sweep the floor, and didnât replace the trash bag â they only changed the towels.

GGuest UserChose this hotel as we were taking the coach / ferry to kangaroo island early in the morning and this is literally right across the road. So location for this was excellent but quite a walk to main shopping and dining area at Rundle Street especially in the cold and rainy weather. Apartment was spacious but we were quite disturbed by the numerous appearances made by cockfriacges!!! Â Also was very surprised when we left at 615am the reception was still not open! Imagine if we had to leave luggage to be stored!!! That would have bern quite a disaster!

GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the âbuffetâ breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldnât see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didnât work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The âdeskâ was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff donât even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I donât think Iâll be back anytime soon. Wasnât horrible but wasnât great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

GGuest UserWe booked this 3 star hotel in Adelaide purely for its location close to an event we were attending. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the lift was out of order. Thankfully, a second lift was operational but only with the down button, but it wasnât the most welcoming start.
Check in was handled by friendly staff who offered a warm smile, though nothing beyond the basics in terms of service.
Once we reached our room on the 5th floor, it was hard to ignore the issues: part of the ceiling was missing and the carpets were noticeably dirty. While the room itself was functional, the bed felt more like a slab of timber than a mattress definitely not made for comfort.
We left our bag and headed out, but I couldnât shake the uneasy feeling the hotel gave me. Ultimately, we made the decision not to stay overnight and returned later to collect our bag and check out.
This may be a suitable spot for some travellers who prioritise location above all else, but unfortunately, it wasnât the right fit for us.

GGuest UserHi how are you back iptuor to Covid I had stayed at the oaks many many times and the spa was then out of order and again it seams itâs still out of service this needs to be fixed thank you and if stay for often ..
Iâd also like to add the sauna the wood is almost falling the wall on the right hand side a bit maintenamce is needed in there ..
and to up keep with all around existing hotels
Filtered water and cups not the fountain Out side the spa as you can get vide hydrated in there ⊠I was dizzy stepping out of due to my own fault drinking alcohol all night and then the sauna anyways I good coles water straight out side the spa would be perfect thank you
The room it self was very beautiful Iâd actual love to purchase one of the rooms and actual live there once the spas in working order
My son stayed there a month years ago with airforce coming back from Wagga Wagga at 19-21 yrs the Air Force funded his stay and I stayed with him and il never forget the very special family memories perfect spot tram ****** train all very good 9/10 10/10 if you did some maintenance in the sauna and have the spa up and running the day the spa is working email me and il stay .2 /3 nights

I had a wonderful stay at the Stamford Hotel in Adelaide. The location is unbeatable â right in the heart of the city, just across from the ****** and railway station, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Itâs incredibly convenient with easy access in every direction, whether youâre heading out for sightseeing, dining, or business.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. This has become my go-to place whenever I visit Adelaide, and Iâll definitely continue to stay here in the future.
Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe loved our stay at the Rydges hotel,the ambience, the service, the service providers and the entire crew were lovely.Being a first time in Adelide, the visit was made superb by the amazing experience we got from the hotel. Their rooms are clean, amenities are excellent, rooms are spacious, views are scenic and it is cvonveniently located to any major plae you would like to visit. I loved how generous their compliments are, including the fridge with merchandise that would be essential in the middle of the night or so! It was also fairly priced and we loved our spa and pool sessions.
If you need to relax and unwind in a well hosted environment in Adelide, do'nt hesitate to make a booking. I will definitely book them if I have to go back.Thank youđđđđ

It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.
