"Had an absolutely wonderful anniversary stay here from 17th–19th April 2026. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and extremely well maintained. A special thanks to Monica from Guest Relations for her incredible hospitality — she truly made our stay extra special with her warmth, care, and amazing recommendations for local cafes and authentic shopping spots. The chefs were equally amazing and prepared delicious Jain meals and breakfasts specially for us throughout our stay. We also loved the evening tea tasting sessions and cozy bonfires — already missing them! Overall, a perfect experience and one of the most memorable stays we’ve had. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Ooty. Will definitely visit again!"

"Overall, everything was good except for one issue. We had booked the hotel for 4 nights, but due to an unexpected emergency, we had to check out one night early. Unfortunately, the hotel management did not provide any refund for the unused night, which amounted to approximately RMB 1,500 (around ₹20,000). What disappointed me most was the management’s attitude regarding the cancellation request. I also submitted refund requests through Trip.com twice, but both were rejected. le the stay itself was satisfactory, the lack of flexibility and customer support in handling an emergency situation left a very negative impression."

"One of the finest stay in ooty. The property has best rooms & ambience. Book their rooms with breakfast. Because the breakfast they provide will make your day with a great start. The property is situated in limited land with less space for parking. And the property doesnt have much space to roam around. The view from all rooms are good. Rooms have kettle, microwave oven, heater & washrooms have hair dryer, hot water, other required items. Overall the stay was a great experience to my family."

The room was spacious, cozy, and perfectly maintained. The beautifully landscaped Sherlock gardens were a delight to explore, especially with family. Every corner of the property is picture-perfect and surrounded by nature. The food deserves special mention. The breakfast spread was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to everyone. We genuinely looked forward to breakfast each morning! The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay."

"Had a very peaceful stay in Ayatana Ooty. The property is excellent and the rooms are very well done - the balcony, views, jacuzzi and the mountain air around was just perfect. It is at a very good location and was just the unwinding experience needed. Courteous staff in the property and smooth reservation experience, where Mohammed Mateen was v helpful with hiccups also. One point which needs improvement is food - variety wise in buffet as well as menu options expansion, which they said was temporary. Also few things from the limited menu were not available. Rest no improvement points, definitely a must stay"

"Worst, horrible, pathetic experience total worst night! I am writing this review with lot of pain. We have been traveling on a vacation and after a pleasant stay at thekaddy club mahindra our next destination as per planned schedule being ooty, we reached club mahindra ooty derby, ***** with my wife and my mother in law and two kids my son just year and a month old. Though we had requested for studio as we were on waiting list we were alloted HU by the company and we had no knowledge about the structure of the HU as we have never been to such units, but after looking the size of the room and the step wooden elevated stairs towards our HU rooms just gave us shivers, that apart while my wife was getting down carrying our infant baby through the ancient pathetic stairs which connect our HU, she narrowly escaped a deadly fall twice so also my mother in law who is a senior citizen narrowly escaped a fall and accordingly we humbly requested front desk guy Mr.Danny if not both atleast one room can be upgraded to studio, for which he so politely gave a feedback saying on 27th itself it won't be possible, but on 28th as there are almost 60 check out he will try his best to upgrade to studio atleast one room or in the worst case scenario would give us HU room on ground floor. When on 28th may in the morning I went to inquire about the shifting one guy by name Praveen (local from tamil nadu) from the front desk outright refused with a weird and unbecoming behavior, upon asking as to why such a tone the said Praveen gave some filthy word to me at that moment Mr. Praveen was alone right in front of entry, the company can very well note from the cctv footage. We have taken to a shock with such kind of behavior on account of Mr.Praveen who bring bad reputation to the company and pathetic experience to the guest. We had very pleasant experience with Ms.Jenifer, Mr.Danny, and the one who who does compering for evening shows Mr.Faisal, also the security guy though with forget his name , all the above were very nice and jovial except Mr.Praveen who lacks etiquette and full of filth. Now if the property cant give one studio or in worst scenario cant even adjust with ground floor, somewhat we can understand with a pinch of pain, but such dastardly behavior shouldn't be tolerated. Overall experience pathetic and horrible. Disappointed and devastated to choose this property. The property on a whole is ok, the HU rooms upstairs are horrible and very risky if one is healthy and senior citizen please do avoid to book HU rooms here. Studio rooms no comments as we didn't get chance to see them. Totally dereliction in providing customer friendly service by ooty derby property of club mahindra!"

"We had a truly memorable stay at Sleeping Beauty by Nature Resorts and Stays. The location is peaceful and beautiful perfect for anyone looking to relax away from the usual crowds. The approach is slightly steep and includes around three sharp hairpin bends, but the stay is absolutely worth the drive. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable, and all the accessories and amenities provided were of excellent quality. The food was delicious, especially the hot chocolate, which became one of our favorites. We also had a great time playing indoor games in the recreation room. A special mention to Flora, Kalai, Kali, Imman and Vinoth. They were polite, cheerful and proactive throughout our stay. They also guided us regarding the road conditions before our arrival, and thankfully, the road had been improved by the time we reached. There is also a small, secluded tea estate just about 50 mts uphill from the property. It is a lovely spot to sit, relax and take beautiful photographs. We left with a genuine sense of happiness and would happily stay here again."

"It's an awesome property, excellent location, great ambience, huge rooms, staff is good. Shooting of many movies done here. The dining hall is huge with great ambience. It's a heritage property, summer palace of mysore king. All rooms are very big. Food was also good. Cycles are available for ride in the amazing lush green ground. Since it is 180 years old property, needs renovation, 24 hr hot water supply was an issue. Overall it's an excellent property for couples who want to relax in the lap of nature, away from crowd. The higher cost is justified as the property is beautiful. Best for those who can afford."
