"Kitchen fumes will not let you sleep. This is my 4th visit to this property. They do not value the repeat customers. Presently staying at the property and writing this review. Despite being a repeat customer, I have been denied valley view balcony room, they gave me room facing the parking. You pay premium price just to smell the exhaust coming from the kitchen. The entire property is filled with kitchen fumes. Last time I was in a balcony room which was facing the balcony and it had carpet and the cleanliness was much much better, but the current room is very very pathetic. The cleanliness has also degraded."

He really did go out of his way to help us. Cottage and bathroom were spacious and clean. Valley view was great. "We had a truly delightful stay at King’s Cliff, Ooty. The property is beautifully maintained and incredibly picturesque, with charming decor that enhances the overall experience. The rooms were excellent, and the entire place reflects great attention to detail. The staff was consistently helpful, prompt, and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention for Mr. Shekhar, who was exceptionally supportive and ensured everything was handled seamlessly. Thoughtful gestures like providing hot water bags during the chilly March weather added a warm, personal touch. That said, there are a few areas where the experience could be further elevated. We stayed in the Miranda room, which, while well-appointed, is located a bit away from the restaurant and involves a fairly steep climb. Given my temporary difficulty with walking, we had requested a room change. While the reception initially indicated this would be possible the following day, the request was unfortunately not accommodated later. A more consistent and empathetic handling of such requests would certainly enhance the guest experience. The restaurant experience, while good overall, did have the occasional service slip-up. The pricing at the restaurant is also on the higher side, somewhat offsetting the otherwise reasonable room tariff. The high tea offering, though a nice inclusion, could benefit from greater variety—otherwise it may be worth reconsidering its positioning as a complimentary feature. In terms of logistics, the location makes commuting slightly inconvenient. The travel desk could consider offering more competitive pricing, as guests are otherwise left with limited options at premium rates. Overall, a memorable and comfortable stay with excellent hospitality. With a few refinements in pricing, service consistency, and guest handling, the experience could become truly exceptional."

"Situated right in the town, the hotel is a safe place to stay with family. The staff especially Mr Prince at the reception was warm and welcoming. Rooms- clean, spacious and extra bed provided. Bathrooms were also very neat. Toiletries were provided and there was hot water available. The one issue we had was the lack of AC/ Fan.. The room was cool enough but felt stuffy. If they could have had an exhaust fan atleast in the bathroom, it would have been helpful. For a budget stay, I would definitely recommend. "

"It is my biggest mistake to book this property as the pics are totally fake on website and from inside it is terrible... Rooms are in pathetic state, shaking flooring, broken bath tubs, creepy and shady walls, broken furnitures, no maintenance at all... In amenities also no mini fridge no service nothing to eat in menu but still too expensive food Breakfast had hardly things to eat and all was so cold and very hard breads.. Outside location is only good, everything else is pathetic and even for drinking water also had to personally go to reception and tell them to send to room as on call nobody was reverting.. the staff at restaurant was too rude and not hygienic food also.. Overall a complete waste of money and time... Spoiled my trip completely"
