"The biggest surprise of our trip to Pingshan was definitely this guesthouse – I have to give it a huge shout-out! It was newly renovated and opened in 2026, so all the facilities are brand new. Our room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The location is superb, just a few minutes' drive to Pingshan Grand Canyon, so no need to rush in the morning. My family of four (two adults, two kids) overslept and missed breakfast. The landlady was incredibly warm-hearted and specially cooked a bowl of noodles for each of us. She even thoughtfully drove us directly to the scenic area entrance. It was sweltering hot in the mountains during mid-summer, and we were all drenched in sweat. The landlady then picked us up punctually from the entrance to take us back to the guesthouse. She was on call the entire time, always anticipating our needs and taking care of everything for her guests. The landlady was genuinely friendly and enthusiastic, treating us like family. This trip created so many warm memories because of this guesthouse. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children. Next time we visit Hefeng Pingshan, this will be our top choice! These are my honest feelings, though I did catch 38-degree Celsius weather, which was just too hot!!! I'd suggest coming when the weather is more favorable."

"The environment of the homestay is beautiful, the sanitation is very clean, the service is nothing to say, very thoughtful, dinner is eaten here, it tastes very good. Special praise for the noodles for breakfast, I can't forget it after eating, and then we came out of the scenic spot for lunch and had a full meal. We were worried about stepping on thunder before coming, but it was better than I expected. It is recommended!"

"The guesthouse is newly built, located on a high slope. The road is narrow in some places, so be careful when passing other vehicles. Parking is convenient in front with five or six charging stations. The guesthouse is very clean, and the rooms are spacious. However, the bathroom isn't completely enclosed; there's only a half-open door, so water can leak out. The owner is very kind and helpful, always willing to assist. He even helped me buy boat tickets for the next day early in the morning. The scenic area parking lot and exit are in different places, requiring a shuttle bus. The guesthouse owner provided free pick-up and drop-off, saving me the shuttle bus fee. Highly recommended!"

"Come to Pingshan Canyon and highly recommend staying in Banshandu. First of all, the boss and the proprietress are super cute. They waited for us at the door at night. After hearing the price of our chartered car, they helped us contact the car to recommend SF Express, help buy ferry tickets, and pick up and drop off. If it weren’t for the rework, I really wanted to stay a few more days. I couldn’t see it outside. I opened the path and came to the door to find such a quiet place. This is probably what many people expect from their own yard. I like it very much. The room is clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The peaches given by the proprietress are delicious and sweet. Pingshan Canyon can be used for 2 hours. If you don’t take pictures, you can also find the boss. In short, you have any need to find them. Be sure to find the boss to buy a ticket for the boat. Go in the morning and go in at noon. It’s too hot."

The hotel also had a Tmall Genie smart control system, and the speaker allowed me to call the front desk, which was quite useful. Across the covered bridge from the Hualong Peninsula snack street, Mr. Zhao's Hefeng Teppanyaki is particularly delicious. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it."

"The boss's dishes are all self-grown in the yard, pure farmhouse. The old lady of the landlord opened a restaurant young, and the craftsmanship was unanimously praised by our two 15 people. The price is also beautiful, Hefeng local Tuwang liquor, and a local beer (forgot the name) are recommended to try. The decoration style of the house is simple and comfortable, the bathroom equipment is new, the water volume is large, and the shower function is many. There is a public drying platform on the second floor with a canopy, which solves the concerns of drying clothes with a lot of showers in summer."
