"I've always enjoyed staying at Atour Hotels, and this Light Residence Hotel's breakfast was quite thoughtful. My family especially loved the new hot pot dishes. A lovely young lady proactively offered to make waffles for us in the mornings; I even tried making them myself, which was a lot of fun, and I ate a whole one in one go! The breakfasts were all very fresh and appetizing, with excellent ingredients and textures. The cold dishes included braised beef. We stayed for three days, and the menu changed every day, which was a big plus. The lady at the open kitchen was also incredibly welcoming, and the service was meticulous and attentive. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean, and the hotel environment lived up to its price and the Kaiyuan brand. However, the breakfast service left me dissatisfied. After we finished eating, I grabbed a yogurt and a pastry for my child, only to be told at the exit that we couldn't take food out of the restaurant. Take out? It was just a carton of yogurt and one pastry! My child couldn't even eat them while walking? This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they said yogurt and pastries couldn't be taken out of the restaurant! Hotel prices were already ridiculously inflated during the National Day holiday, and after spending so much on a hotel, who cares about your tiny bit of yogurt and pastry! It felt like we were being treated like cheapskates trying to take advantage of them, being stopped at the exit! Ridiculous! I suggest replacing the breakfast service staff! Don't let them tarnish the Kaiyuan brand!"

"It's a spacious two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom apartment. The building is listed as having opened this year, so the complex is very new. The sales office is still there, so there are probably still units for sale. Occupancy isn't high. It's located outside Yanguan Town, about a 10-minute walk away. There aren't many people around. You can see the Qiantang River in the distance. It feels like it just opened recently; it's very new. There are some seats at the reception, but breakfast isn't provided yet. Since we were only staying one night, it provided enough comfortable space for two friends to move around and rest. It was quite nice."
