I was a little nervous before booking because the price wasn't cheap, and I worried the experience wouldn't be good enough. However, I figured the numerous positive reviews about the excellent service would be good. My experience was truly beyond expectations (I knew it would be good, but I didn't expect it to be this good), and the scenery was breathtaking. Guizhou-style dinner for two: The hotel offers a complimentary dinner for two, and my husband, an elderly couple, and three children didn't have to pay extra. We enjoyed the hotel buffet. We arrived at 7 p.m., and while the food was plentiful, the manager kept saying they were out of dishes and even cooked us a special Guizhou spicy chicken dish. My husband said it was incredibly flavorful. The bar always had drinks and ice water, making it a relaxing summer drink. After dinner, we took a stroll around the hotel, which was very relaxing. The driver of the electric scooter was always available, and when we left, he took us to the parking lot and then back to the scenic area gate to take us to the bus. The entire hotel staff gave me the same friendly and relaxed feeling as a Sanya resort hotel. My second child was struck by the hotel's beauty the moment they entered, and even asked if it had a swimming pool. It felt like a seaside resort. Swimming in the outdoor pool felt like wandering between heaven and earth, and the fresh scent of the pine forest permeated my breath. We also received complimentary tickets to the Yunmen Tun Scenic Area, which also included a stroll, and the scenery was beautiful. We took photos and posted them on WeChat, and everyone was amazed by the beauty. I look forward to returning in autumn to see the different scenery. A small suggestion would be to add more family-friendly facilities and some forest activities. While you can swim in the summer, there are some activities in the fall and winter that will provide a more enriching experience for children.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly! They gave us a ride to the ancient town site, and picked us up in the evening. We booked two rooms for our group, and both were excellent. The rooms were very big and clean, with a relaxing view of a beautiful river. The guesthouse is beside a restaurant that serves delicious food. The village streets are fun and interesting to walk through -- we liked the local setting as much as the ancient town site. We cannot speak Chinese but it was no problem. The staff speak a little English and are good at using translation apps. They welcomed us like family, and we were sad to say goodbye.

The rock feature in the room was really unique, and the amenities were complete. They even delivered fresh fruit and plenty of snacks. The toilet and bathtub had clean disposable liners, which was a nice touch. The window faced a bamboo forest, offering a great view. The service was also excellent; our butler reminded us about breakfast and supper, and the complimentary travel photos they took were beautiful. The hotel itself is very picturesque, perfect for photos, and the pool looked stunning when lit up at night. Breakfast doesn't end until 1 PM, so you can sleep in without worrying about missing it – that's a huge plus! Overall, a fantastic experience!

Good location, Zunyi is not big, in the downtown area, it is more convenient to go anywhere, walk more than 10 minutes from the old site of Zunyi Conference, the decoration style is small and fresh, young people generally like it! The front desk lady is beautiful and kind, and the mouth is sweet, answering questions patiently and thoughtfully, praise!

This houseboat was a pleasant surprise. The reception staff were very welcoming, and although the room wasn't large, it was clean and fully equipped. The surrounding scenery would be even more beautiful in summer. The breakfast area was a bit basic, with limited variety and not much to eat. It's about an eight or nine-minute drive from the attractions.

So glad we chose this guesthouse for New Year's Eve! There wasn't much open in Zunyi city, and the owner here actually invited all the guests to a reunion dinner – so incredibly welcoming. The room was great too, with a large balcony that offered a view of most of the festivities. If you don't want to be in the thick of the crowd, watching the 'iron flower' show from the room actually gives you a better view. The room had a heater, so it was super warm in winter. Coming back to a cozy room after freezing outside at the show was fantastic. The hygiene was excellent, on par with Hanting or Atour. We also had the sour fish soup in the guesthouse the next day; it was a generous portion and not expensive at all. Highly recommend staying here!

I booked two courtyard rooms, and both were incredibly clean, with no hidden spots of dirt. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a comfortable hotel in Zunyi. Even the mosquito net was dust-free, which was great for me as I have a dust mite allergy. Although I couldn't get a king-size bed, the hotel proactively helped combine two beds and added a safety rail. We put the kids to bed early, and the courtyard room was surprisingly quiet; we barely heard any noise from the evening programs. The service at the hotel and throughout the entire scenic area was excellent. My kids spent two full days doing crafts and were absolutely thrilled. The crafts and goods in the scenic area are clearly priced and uniformly managed, making for a very comfortable and hassle-free experience. Miaowang Hotel definitely has the best location; it's a must-stay if you're traveling with elderly people or children. You just step out of the hotel and go down the stairs to reach the core scenic area, no shuttle bus needed. Considering the cost of tickets and shuttle buses, the room itself is an incredible value. Compared to other villages, Wujiang Village truly is a small but beautiful gem. I will definitely visit again. If I had to nitpick, there are two points: The staff at the scenic area's parking lot were quite fierce and irritable, which left a very poor first impression, but all the other staff members were exceptionally good. Also, there was a dripping sound from the toilet at night that echoed in the room, which might affect light sleepers.

The owner of this 民宿 will never understand how grateful i was for her help. I came for 1 night and stayed for 3 due to a series of misfortunes. When i arrived i had forgot my passport in the previous city i stayed 200kms away. The owner calmly checked me in anyways and coordinated with my previous hotel to retrieve my passport. Later that day i got heatstroke and i fell down a flight of stairs really hurting my tailbone, the owner gave me medicine and checked up on me. My passport arrived in the morning and i was feeling a bit better. Then my phone got wet and broke. The Owner helped me find a shop to repair my phone and finally after 3 days, i was able to leave. Being a foreigner lost without passport or money or GPS is very scary. The owner helped keep me safe and calm. I’ll never ever forget her considerate and caring presence. Thank you forever!

The inn is very characteristic of the northern Guizhou architectural style. It is a few minutes walk from the Shuanghe Valley scenic area. It is recommended to buy tickets at the front desk for discounts. You have to go to the hotel to exchange paper tickets for online ticket purchases. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged in the hotel banquet hall. I like the noodles for breakfast. However, the closing time at 9:30 is a bit early. If you go at 8:30, there is basically nothing. The sound insulation of the house is a little poor. You can hear people talking up and down the stairs. In addition, the bathroom has a strong smell and the shower drains slowly. Please note that the room type recommendation map is not very accurate. You can use my video as a reference
