GGuest UserI have been to Jiuhua Mountain for several years and this is a relatively good experience First of all, the environment. This is a newly renovated hotel with a very Zen style. The sanitary conditions are also OK. The hotel's products are also very good, including Dyson hair dryers, Guanxia aromatherapy, and Jurlique toiletries. It can be said to be a small but beautiful hotel. Secondly, the service is really impeccable. We went to Jiuhua Street for dinner on the night of check-in, and it started to rain heavily. The hotel owner even asked a friend to pick us up. The breakfast delivered to the room was also very rich, with a wide variety, which provided plenty of energy for worshiping Buddha. All in all, it is a highly recommended hotel with an excellent location. It only takes a dozen minutes to walk to the Palace of the Reincarnation of the Flesh and the small rooftop. It is worth checking out.

For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. KKlaus HornetzA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

MMs. Jovell GanThis is a very new and excellent guesthouse in Jiuhuashan and it turned out to be a great find! The location is fantastic, right along the lively Jiuhua Street. Just across the road is the main bus transfer station, which makes it super convenient for us to take the tourist buses to the 肉身宝殿and 天台索道 There’s also a shortcut to 化城寺— only about a 5–7 minute walk. Overall, the location is very convenient with plenty of food and amenities nearby — nothing to complain about at all. The guesthouse is very well managed: the rooms are new, clean, and warmly decorated, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll definitely come back again!

GGuest UserIt was my first time to Jiuhua Mountain. I looked at many B&Bs and finally chose this one. I think I made the right choice. The room is new and clean. The lady boss is really good at service. She patiently explained the route and told us that if we couldn't walk anymore, she would come and pick us up. It was really nice!! The fruits provided by the B&B are delicious, and the lady boss also kept making tea for us. Really good!! In addition, we found the food at different restaurants in Jiuhua Mountain to be too strong. After chatting with the lady boss, she arranged a lighter meal for us!! The B&B was really cooperative and provided good service.

GGuest UserThe misty rain was on Jiuhua Mountain, the air was humid and cold, but I couldn't feel it at all when I entered the house. The reception girl and the aunt were very warm. They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. I should still choose here next time, I hope to keep it in shape, and I have been so good [rose]

AAnonymous UserI chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . The room was very well cleaned without any unpleasant odors, which was excellent! The window in my room was a bit small, which had its advantages, as it prevented outside moisture and fog from getting in, which is important since the bedding can easily become damp when staying in a mountain setting. The receptionist was very helpful and even planned my travel route! 👍 On check-out day, the hotel provided a shuttle to take our luggage down to the foot of the mountain, saving us the trouble of making the trip. 👍 Overall, I was very satisfied.

AAnonymous UserA very new B&B with an excellent location. Opposite is the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue with a huge energy field. Compared with the noise on the mountain, the small courtyard is clean and comfortable. You can pay tribute to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from the balcony of the room, which is very special. The B&B is clean and tidy, and the rooms are equipped with a whole-house smart system, which is very convenient. The owner and his wife are very nice and will give some travel tips. There is free pick-up and drop-off at the gates of the cultural park and scenic spots. It takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the Cultural Park. There are many good hotels at the west gate of the Cultural Park. It is a 3-minute drive from the tourist center. It takes about 20 minutes for the tourist bus to go up the mountain to Yingxian Bridge, and about 40 minutes to the Jiuhuashan High-speed Railway and the airport. The location is excellent.
