The food and grocery stores in the village and scenic area close relatively early. For a night owl like me, it feels like there are hardly any shops open after 10 PM, and I can't buy anything. As a four-star hotel, it perfectly blends historical charm, a superb location, and modern comfort, making for a fantastic stay. A hotel in the heart of the ancient city! The windows offer views of the Tingjiang River, and it's super convenient to walk to Jichuan Gate and Shuidong Street. The modern Chinese-style rooms are clean and smartly equipped, the bedding is so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed, and the front desk even provided helpful travel tips. Parking is reimbursed for those driving, making it incredibly cost-effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changting!
