The whole estate felt like the proprietress was hosting everyone herself. She was constantly in the lobby and dining area, greeting guests during check-in and at breakfast the next day. There are also several adorable dogs here that immediately come over for pets! The amenities and breakfast at the hotel are excellent. The lobby offers a variety of snacks, all from Sam's Club, which you can just grab and eat. There's also a massage chair, a fireplace, and more. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer direct views of the autumn leaves. In the evening, the large pool in the garden is filled with hot spring water, and soaking in it during cold weather is incredibly comfortable. It's a genuine hot spring, and Guzhou itself is famous for its hot springs. Some room types even have private hot tubs. It's truly relaxing and helps soothe away the fatigue of a long journey.

Great location set back from the main road and the rooms have great views of the local area. The staff were very quick to respond to all of my messages. The room is modern and well-designed. I just can't understand why the towels they provide are so poor quality. One reason why people choose this kind of hotel instead of the cheaper hotels in the area is for the quality of the facilities, especially towels. But the ones they have here are single-use, very thin towels that do not really dry you at all. Apart from that, it is an excellent place to stay. The nearby Nobu cafe is also a highlight of this area.

I was incredibly lucky to get a room upgrade during the May Day holiday. You can really tell the owner is dedicated to creating a high-end hotel with a sophisticated, photogenic interior in this small county town. They were proactive in contacting us before check-in and offered concierge service. I even met a staff member who proudly told us that they change the hot spring water daily. It's clear a lot of thought went into the room design as well. While Gurgou is a small place I probably won't visit again, I truly hope the establishment thrives. It would be wonderful if more travelers visiting this area could enjoy not just comfort, but also a beautiful and enriching experience.

Bipenggou is absolutely stunning, truly living up to its nickname as the 'Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.' We were lucky enough to even see snow-capped mountains at this time of year 🏔️ and even found a four-leaf clover by the roadside 🍀. The hotel was also great. They saw we had a child with us and even gave us free breakfast vouchers, which was a lovely gesture. The service and cleanliness were both quite good 👍. Attached is a Bipenggou travel guide.

Pretty clean room but hotel was really old. It’s located near the entrance of Bipenggou but there’s not much restaurants/ supermarkets around. The front desk was nice and gave us extra bottles of water as we couldn’t buy water anywhere near the hotel. Pretty alright stay for 1 night.

Everything is excellent about this hotel..the location is not far from bipenggou scenic area…the staff is super friendly…they even let us to check out late for free as we need to perform out prayer first as a muslim..the hotel also provide free breakfast..the room is spacious and clean…we can see the snow capped mountain from our hotel room…with just RM100 per night, the hotel is definitely worth it 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻

Great location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

5/5, highly recommend! My stay at Ramada exceeded all expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were super fast, and they thoughtfully explained the hotel amenities and nearby attractions. Their attitude was gentle and patient. The room itself was spacious and bright, with soft, skin-friendly bedding and pillows that were just right. The soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, all facilities were complete, hot water was stable, and the toiletries were high quality. The breakfast buffet was a major highlight. There was a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including freshly cooked noodles, pastries, fruits, coffee, and desserts. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted great. There were so many options that I could eat something different every day. Overall, the hotel has a grand yet quiet atmosphere, with comprehensive facilities suitable for both business trips and family vacations. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the value for money was outstanding. I'll definitely choose Ramada again on my next visit and sincerely recommend it to everyone!

The hotel's location is excellent, right within the scenic area, and you can even drive your private car in. The room rate includes admission tickets, and the hotel has its own shuttle to take you to the electric cart transfer point. It's very convenient if you want to drive to Longwang Lake. Being able to stroll around near the hotel even after the scenic area closes in the evening is a big plus. The room's hygiene and facilities are also good, with floor heating. However, for a high-altitude area, they don't provide oxygen equipment, and oxygen tanks are double the price of those outside, which is a bit of a letdown for a hotel in this price range. The service, honestly, was quite mediocre, definitely not as good as other hotels and B&Bs we stayed at during this Sichuan-Tibet small loop trip. It felt like the catering, housekeeping, and front desk departments were all disconnected; when you called, they couldn't even transfer you, requiring you to call back. The dining experience at the restaurant was very poor. We ordered a fish dish, and when we asked if it had many bones, they said no. But when it arrived, my friends and I barely touched it because it had so many tiny bones, and it was prepared as a 'sour fish' dish. We hardly ate any of it. The other dishes were also very salty. When we reported the issues after the meal, the waitstaff seemed indifferent. For breakfast, you had to stand by the noodle station, otherwise, if you walked away and came back, you'd find the staff had forgotten your order. Actually, a friend had a great experience here before and specifically recommended it, but this stay, compared to the other places on this trip, left a much poorer impression and feeling. I really hope the hotel improves its service awareness.

This hotel was an absolute gem for our trip to Bipenggou, truly exceeding our expectations! It's just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area's main gate, and for those driving, there's a free, exclusive parking lot with charging stations – super convenient for electric cars, saving us the hassle of rushing to grab a spot at the park. The room was spotlessly clean, not a single flaw to be found, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. With floor heating and central air conditioning, our winter stay in Western Sichuan was incredibly warm and cozy. Opening the curtains revealed stunning views of the distant mountains – the vista was superb. The free hot springs were the icing on the cake; after a day of hiking in the snowy mountains, a soak in the hot spring melted all our fatigue away. The staff even cleaned and changed the water beforehand, showing amazing attention to detail. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Szechuan dishes and ******* yak beef at the restaurant were authentic and generously portioned. The service throughout our stay was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff proactively helped with luggage and offered travel tips, and any requests were met with a very quick response. From hygiene and facilities to service, everything was impeccable, and the value for money was outstanding. It's definitely the top choice for accommodation in Bipenggou, and we wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again on our next visit!
