OOhhoisanI arrived late that night, and most of the surrounding hotels were fully booked. This was a B&B, and the decor felt quite new. It had a smart home system throughout, with a smart toilet in the room, underfloor heating, and central heating. The hotel offered free parking, a children's play area, and a hot spring, though the hot spring closed around 10:30 PM. The front desk also provided complimentary fruit and self-service tea, as well as free disposable toiletries. The facilities are comparable to those of a mid-to-high-end chain hotel. Breakfast was available, and while the variety wasn't extensive, there were noodles, congee, buns, and dumplings – enough to fill you up. Overall, the service was excellent. The only minor drawback was the cleanliness; it wasn't quite up to par. The remote control holder was dusty, and there was dust on the tables. Improving the cleanliness would make it absolutely perfect.

You can really tell the owner is dedicated to creating a high-end hotel with a sophisticated, photogenic interior in this small county town. They were proactive in contacting us before check-in and offered concierge service. I even met a staff member who proudly told us that they change the hot spring water daily. It's clear a lot of thought went into the room design as well. While Gurgou is a small place I probably won't visit again, I truly hope the establishment thrives. It would be wonderful if more travelers visiting this area could enjoy not just comfort, but also a beautiful and enriching experience.

XXietingfengzhuThis stay was absolutely perfect, a definite five-star rating! The hotel's location is excellent, the room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The staff were warm, attentive, and always happy to help. I especially want to praise the smart room control system – it's really high-tech, easy to use, and being able to control the curtains and air conditioning just by speaking was incredibly convenient. However, it would be even better if there were a few more lighting modes, such as a reading mode, a romantic mode, or a night light mode. This would enhance the ambiance and offer a more personalized experience. I look forward to visiting again and hope the hotel continues to improve!

The room was a unique camping tent style, but the interior amenities were top-notch; the underfloor heating warmed the entire space quickly. For dinner, I chose the recommended yak meat hot pot, which was generous in portion and rich in flavor—highly recommended. Soaking in the private hot spring at night, with stars in sight, all my fatigue melted away.
It's worth noting that the tent rooms have relatively weak soundproofing. If you have very high requirements for your sleeping environment, I suggest choosing another room type or bringing earplugs. Also, it's best to check the cleanliness of the private hot spring tub before use.
In short, Mubal Hut perfectly blends the charm of the mountains with the comfort of accommodation, making it a unique and high-quality choice when visiting Bipenggou. If you also yearn for a warm and welcoming place surrounded by nature, this is definitely worth a visit.

It's about a 7-8 minute drive from the main gate of Bipenggou, which is very convenient.
There aren't many restaurant options nearby, so I recommend eating at the hotel. The stir-fries are delicious and reasonably priced. For breakfast, there's a good variety of coffee, and both the flat white and mocha are excellent.
The hot water pressure is a bit low.

The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

The front desk handled the procedures efficiently and quickly, and they patiently recommended local cuisine and sightseeing routes to us. The room had plenty of natural light and a wide-open view, and it was spotless. Facilities: A bit old, but it's an old hotel, over ten years old, so it's well-maintained compared to when it first opened.
The front desk staff, Zhu Jing, was very thoughtful and helped me switch to a room closer to the main building, which made it more convenient for hot springs and breakfast. The hot springs were very comfortable and relaxing.
