"The entire team at Mara Hilltop made our trip unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Mara Hilltop. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. They always escorted us back to our tents after dark if we wanted company, led evening walks in the countryside, and gave us a great opportunity to learn about the Maasai people. Everything was completely tailored to our needs: if we left for safari at 6:00 AM, we had breakfast to take with us and eat on the safari. If we left at 8:00 AM, we had breakfast at the lodge. This was simply discussed each day and worked perfectly. The pick-up from Nairobi and the safaris themselves were also professionally organized. In addition to the wonderful and exciting full-day safaris, we also went on a nature walk, which I highly recommend. The food was lovingly prepared, delicious, and varied. We were provided with a generous packed lunch for the morning and midday safaris. The entire team, including the owner, truly went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The tents themselves are also beautiful and comfortable. We have never felt so welcome and at home in any accommodation before and would choose Mara Hilltop over any luxury hotel."

"This was a beautiful resort- staff were incredibly loving and kind- they ensured we had more than a comfortable stay but a memorable one. The room was clean, hot water and electricity, the room was luxurious with comfy mattresses. It’s only five to ten min drive to masa marai which means you miss all the queues and can maximise time in the actual safari. They serve fantastic food and cater to veggies and do many traditional tribal dances throughout the day. They also packed our lunch for the safari which was tasty and filling. We went as husband and wife for our first anniversary with both our parents and they put us in a small cul de sac with three villas together."

"This campsite was one of the places we stay on our budget safari tour. You shouldn't expect luxury here, but for its category it is a very good place. We were welcomed with a Masai dance, and it was something special. All the staff were very responsive. I would especially like to mention the chef, who was always present during meals and was interested in how we liked the food. We had two rooms on the hill, from this place there was a view of the Masai Mara National Park and in the evening we could watch from the balcony the animals playing in the distance f Access to this place is, I would say off-road, especially during or after rain, 4x4 is not a problem. There is also a pool, although the water was quite cold even for travelers from Northern Europe."
