"My name,Stephen saitoti. My stay at PrideInn Mara Camp was truly unforgettable thanks to the amazing team that made every moment special. Special appreciation goes to Joseph Kaleku at the front office. His professionalism, exceptional reception skills, and ability to guide guests with care and confidence made us feel welcomed from the very beginning. He handles guests with warmth, patience, and genuine hospitality. Mwaboza and Sylvia also deserve recognition for their exceptional service. Their warm smiles, kindness, and wonderful stories added joy and comfort throughout our stay. They truly know how to make guests feel at home. Patrick Kudate, thank you for your excellent guest briefings. Your cheerful laughter and positive energy brighten the experience for everyone around you. Chief of Security David, your intelligence, alertness, and professionalism are remarkable. Guests feel safe and comfortable because of your dedication. Loso, thank you for taking care of us during lunchtime, especially when those funny monkeys tried disturbing the guests! Your attentiveness and calmness were highly appreciated. Richard Matuyia prepared one of the best breakfasts we enjoyed during our stay — delicious, fresh, and well presented. Marrie, the young and kind lady who welcomed guests during arrival hours, congratulations for your excellent hospitality and warm reception. Finally, Sialo, thank you for the unforgettable memories. Your smile, laughter, and engaging stories created moments that we will always remember. The entire PrideInn Mara Camp team made our stay beautiful, peaceful, and memorable. "As a gluten free visitor I just wanted to give a herogram to Micheal the head chef who made me the best packed lunch, dinner and breakfast I enjoyed on my whole trip to Kenya. I’ll dream about his cake and reassuring smile when I anxiously explained my needs. Top guy. All the staff were lovely at Sopa lodges but Michael’s kindness and skill will long be remembered by me and my husband. Thank you x"

"Initially I liked the lodge! Staff seamed friendly enough but as we were leaving George approached us stating we owed money (we did not) the Safari coordinator Esther had not paid! My daughter arranged this trip as a present for myself and husband and although she had written confirmation from the owner of lodge that we had nothing to pay apart from drinks and tips and that they were expecting Natural World Safaris to pay the booking cost they locked the gate with padlocks until we paid AGAIN on our credit card!! I cannot express enough how scared we were…and to top off the charge was an even $500 which doesn’t match the various rates advertised. There was another couple there leaving at same time and had the same problem when leaving….we have been fighting with the Safari company for a refund but as yet no luck!"

"Brilliant family vacation at Olara Kempisnki . Games drives, rooms, foods were all outstanding. Great location deep inside the forest with Hippos giving constant company. Could hear Lions growl close to the tent. Chefs went out of the way to support our vegetarian requirements. As its part of conservancy area , game viewing were exclusive and was not crowded .Special thanks to the manager Dominik and ranger Duncan , they made sure that all our requirements are well taken care. Would like to visit again. Highly recommended"

"My family and I had the most incredible experience at Basecamp Wilderness. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations. We are family of 5 and the family tent was perfect with separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The food was outstanding, even my kids enjoyed it. They were so attentive to the children, playing soccer with them, making beaded bracelets and archery between game drives. The bush breakfast was one of our favorites. Thank you to Dama our guide for showing us all that Masai Mara has to offer. Also a big thank you to Dorcas, Fancy, Maxon, Rantes, William, Kisch, Stephano and the rest of the Basecamp team!! We can’t wait to come back!!"

"The hotel is located in a national park and is convenient for safari. Family room, huge space and two bathrooms. Bathroom quality is good. Suitable for a family of four or two couples. Hotel service is very good. Hotel service is very good. But there is no phone or TV in the room. The hotel that took a hot air balloon ride proactively provided a manual wake-up call service."

MARA SOPA LODGE ★★★★
"The hotel has everything you need and can imagine, with very nice staff. If you are a couple and you are looking for something more exclusive than you might want a smaller place, but for families, people with accessibility needs or dietary restrictions, this is the place to go. Rooms are clean and well equipped, my only concern is that you have few power outlets and if you don’t have an adapter you will be in trouble."

Fig Tree Camp - Maasai Mara ★★★★★
"The staff, food, tent and reception/bar/ patio area really good. Now! I've been to mara a hundred times. Seen the place, but never stopped in. These accommodations needed to be 4 meters apart. A lot of disturbance from a lot of inconsiderate people. Maybe the camp could remind people about this behavior. The biggest issue, the person running the place. Separating my driver and I at meals for no reason. Even wanting me to pay an extra 2000 kns to sit with me. Felt like being swindled. Yes it was a huge deal. Way more than you know. It was decided about 24hrs before check out, the driver can join you. I thought, great im really happy until. A camp staffer agreed to join in a short end of day game drive. For some reason the same person was out in the parking making sure that staffer didn't go with us. It was weird. After spending 4nts there and leaving in the morning. My stay was totally disregarding. The first night, I decided never again. It was BS. The place isn't worth the smothering of that, and inconsiderate demanding people everywhere. Even in low season, never mind high season. Been doing safaris since 99. My stays never went like this."

"Loved this place!! Starting off, the staff was so amazing and kind!! They were the sweetest people!! Always there to help us with whatever and answer any question we had while also performing dances for us! The chef made delicious breakfast and dinners for us along with amazing packed lunches for our game drives!! I’m still dreaming of those Mandazis! Lastly, the sleeping accommodations were perfect! They were the cutest little houses with their own private bathrooms! All around such a perfect resort for our safari and so close to the safari park (where we saw so many animals)!! Would 100% recommend!!"

"We were received by a very warm team of staff upon arrival with a warm towel, a cup of juice and smiles. The staff helped us with our bags to the tents that had a wonderful ambience on top of the very spacious bed and bathroom. Clean spaces and well manicured lawns. The environment and atmosphere is oneto die for especially at sunset. The food was delicious and yummy with a variety of cuisines to choose from, made by the very professional chefs and served with love."

Entumoto Safari Camp ★★★
"Just had a wonderful stay at Entumoto Camp in the Maasai Mara Siana Conservancy. Beautifully situated; great safaris in both the reserve and conservancy; truly amazing food; and happy, professional and well-cared for staff. Family tents include two en-suite bedrooms with a living room in between and an expansive deck with beautiful views. Appreciated also that our booked rate included game drives, all meals, house drinks, multiple sundowners, bush breakfast/lunch options, and conservancy and reserve park fees… making one payment a simple task. Really thoughtfully curated, conservation-focused, and just a lovely overall experience. Highly recommend!"

Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara ★★★★★
"I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at Olare Mara Kempinski in the Masai Mara with my partner, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, thoughtful, seamless, and delivered with genuine warmth. Every member of the team made us feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. A wonderful wow factor was that upon arrival we headed straight out on a game drive where we saw the most beautiful heard of elephants. Our tent was stunning. Spacious, beautifully appointed, and opening out onto uninterrupted views of the plains, it felt like our own private haven in the heart of the Mara. Waking up to the sounds of the bush and watching wildlife wander past from our deck was nothing short of magical. The food was another standout. Every meal offered exceptional quality and an impressive range of choices. Whether breakfast overlooking the plains or dinner under the stars, each dish was crafted with care and creativity. The dining team made every experience feel personal and elevated. We were fortunate to be looked after by an extraordinary group of people who made this stay unforgettable: • Brian, who welcomed us with warmth and ensured every detail of our stay felt effortless • Dominic, whose reservation support made planning smooth and stress‑free • Duncan, our phenomenal safari guide, whose knowledge, instinct, and passion brought the Mara to life • Caleb, the guide intern, whose enthusiasm and curiosity added so much to each drive • Kelvin, Livingston, and Herzon, who served us in the restaurant with grace, attentiveness, and genuine kindness • Joy, the masseuse, who delivered one of the most relaxing and restorative treatments I've ever experienced Thanks to Duncan, we saw the Big Five and so much more. Each game drive felt like its own story, filled with awe, excitement, and moments we’ll carry with us forever. Having attended another safari in Africa following our visit, we realised just how lucky we were to see and share these one of a kind moments with animals in their natural habitat. Olare Mara Kempinski delivered an extraordinary blend of luxury, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful milestone, and we left feeling deeply grateful for every moment and every person who made it so special."

Sarova Mara Game Camp ★★★★
"The property itself is absolutely amazing! The tents are located inside the reserve , which gave it a very nice, authentic safari feel where you could hear the wildlife at night. Our rooms were very comfortable, and a huge highlight of our stay was the wonderful Masai dance performance—it was truly great However, there were a few minor drawbacks. We noticed a couple of cleanliness issues in the room: the fan had a lot of dirt over it, and it was not properly cleaned under the bed. Additionally, the buffet felt quite repetitive with the same options every day and lacked variety. The staff was warm and welcoming, and despite these few areas for improvement, it is still a fantastic place to stay!"
