"Comfortable rooms, that are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. I love the Rye restaurant, as their bagels and breakfasts are delicious. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby is also a nice touch."
"Location is great. The Executive King Room is spacious and comfy. Receptionist is friendly. We tried the gym and it’s well equipped. On snowy days, I think they should help cleaning the snow in the drop off area outside the hotel. We basically have to step in the puddles to get in the car."
"Close to the city center, only 3 kilometers away from all attractions, the room is large, clean and very good. Very comfortable, you can come here, but the price has increased during the exhibition."
"I enjoyed my 5-night stay, the location is excellent with walking distance to shops & restaurants and easily accessible via public transport. Hotel staff were friendly and any requests responded to immediately. I enjoyed the spacious and well equipped kitchen space, as well as the gym and on-site laundry. The room wasn't perfectly clean but nothing too concerning."
"The accommodations were perfect for us ! We had 5 siblings and families visiting for an anniversary celebration. The suites allowed for all the children to stay and play together. The mezzanine was large clean and extremely safe for the kids to go in and out at will. The breakfast was excellent! We all were able to eat together and everyone was able to find the foods they wanted. The food was fresh and delicious ! The hotel staff were one of the friendliest of any hotel we stayed!"
"The location is a big plus. After the show at the Cadillac Theatre next door ended at 10 PM, it was so easy and safe to just walk right back to the hotel. The king room was a bit small, but it was well-organized and clean, perfectly adequate for a short stay. The uniquely designed, ornate ceiling light was a real eye-catcher, and the room was bright and airy. The dining perks were a nice touch too; we received a discount at the hotel restaurant. Overall, it was a very good stay."
"Spacious bathroom and King size bed. Clean and tidy. Convenient location."

Great
UUCARLAWGreat location, friendly, kindly staff, fantastic rooms, excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, great view, beautiful view of Chicago Downtown, very good gym, all the equipment is new, truly an excellent hotel.
GGuest UserPool was saline and clean and warm enough to actually use. Breakfast was nice. Parking was $50 in the self park next door. Entrance houses 3 hotels which is confusing. Hotel had clean products and no terrible chemical or mold smells.
YYJYC0402My first trip to Chicago was perfectly great thanks to LondonHouse. Especially the view from my assigned room was so amazing that I didn't need another rooftop cafe.
GGuest UserA cozy hotel within walking distance to Cumberland CTA Station. Clean and pretty well equipped rooms. Would definitely come again if I travel to Chicago in the future.
GGuest UserGreat location (very closed to major sites - walking distance to Millennium Park, Trump Tower, Giordano’s Pizza, Art Museum. Good size rooms and great front desk service (esp. Samuel). I booked 2 rooms.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great, opposite Millennium Park, within walking distance to Michigan Avenue, and not far from the subway station. Because I have a membership card, I would like to thank the handsome guy at the front desk for upgrading me to a room with a view.
GGuest UserMy Honest Experience After Reading Negative Reviews I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website. One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
