GGuest UserThe Press Hotel is a very nice hotel; clean, modern, upscale. But I found the valuer for the money was lacking. The food in their restaurant, Union, was above average but the prices were too high for what you got. Breakfast for two (one order of oatmeal and one order of a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese) came to $44, and with a 20% tip thrown in the meal cost $53. For breakfast! My dinner the night before was similar; very tasty food, but not worth the $125 price for two people. If you don't mind spending lots of $$, it's a great hotel with excellent service and nice rooms.

Bbruce17The hotel is in a great location, and it's very comfortable to walk around. The hotel is small and beautiful, very clean and beautiful, and the front desk is very welcoming. There is a public area on each floor where you can get snacks, coffee, and fruit. It's no problem to just have a simple breakfast.

If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.

The bedding and bed were very comfortable- high off the floor for kids but perfect for tall people like me. I liked the white linens and the pillow top mattress.
The shower was great and the toiletries were adequate. There were tons of towels and washcloths. I did not use the kitchenette but it seemed well appointed for quick needs- a full sized refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee and tea choices, dish towel, etc.
The sitting area and desk were nice touches- the furniture was a bit dated looking but clean and unmarked by stains or heavy wear.
The hotel was very quiet but included fifth floor parking in the nearby garage and proximity to lots of bars, restaurants, and shopping. Great location!

GGuest UserWe stayed 1 night for our trip to enjoy the Maine’s lobster. This hotel is located at the old port area where is easily walking to restaurants and pier. Nice, clean and good service!

We celebrated my son's birthday and the added freebies (free breakfast, birthday card, late checkout and candies surprise) are indeed very much appreciated! Thank you so much Westin Team for the effort! Of course, this is a Westin brand so everything is perfect!

陳陳The equipment is average, there is no electric kettle, and there is no safety deposit box. It feels very medieval. No one came in to clean the room when I stayed in the room. I didn't come to replenish the items, and there was no bottled water. However, the staff at the counter was kind.

JJonathan LiemGood: Affordable relative to other hotels, nice/spacious room, complimentary water and coffee during select times of day, nice lounge with games and pool table to hang out at night, room and lobby were clean upon arrival.
Not so good: Front desk staff had a mix of friendly and not-as-friendly people - the guy at the night shift was not very welcoming when I checked in. The hallway in the 6th floor smelled strongly of carpet shampoo; it was unpleasant to walk through. Bedsheets were a bit rough (low thread count I presume).

XXIAOPEIThe hotel is a business type, good, simple, but everything is available, parking 20 knives a day. By the sea, it is very good to walk, it is also a tourist attraction, and it is very lively in the town market. There is also a relatively large church in the town. The glass painting inside is very attractive to me. The locals are very friendly, the seafood is super delicious, the oysters are not too tired, the lobster morning market, 9.9 knives. Unforgettable town of Portland
