The best feature of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. Being situated so close to the train station was incredibly convenient and made navigating the city simple.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and tidy space to return to after a day out.
The only minor drawback is the lack of dining options immediately surrounding the hotel. While the train station proximity solves most travel needs, guests should be aware that they might need to travel a short distance to find a wide selection of restaurants.
Overall, for travelers prioritizing convenience, cleanliness, and budget, this hotel is an excellent choice.

This is a typical modern Japanese-style twin room, with the toilet and bathroom separated. The room is quite spacious, featuring two 1.4-meter beds placed side-by-side, easily accommodating four people. It's equipped with a fridge, microwave, electric stove, and three frying pans, so you can cook your own meals. To get to Tokyo Disney, you'll need to take a bus, which costs 280 JPY. The front desk has bus route maps, and there are three lines that go to Disney, making it very convenient. The lobby is on the second floor, and the main entrance is often closed, requiring you to use the intercom, but it's very easy to use. There are three ladies on duty 24/7, so no worries there. A Lawson convenience store is on the ground floor, and a supermarket is behind it. There's also a Matsuya restaurant on the same street. Just a bit further down is Urayasu Station, which is very convenient.

If you’re looking for a convenient location near Disneyland, and you’re coming from elsewhere, this location is great. However, if you’re looking for and hoping for a new place, this isn’t that sort of hotel. It’s rather old and not really refreshed. Also, if you don’t speak a word of Japanese, you might struggle as the reception staff I had didn’t speak English. However, we were fine as I had basic conversational Japanese.
We've transformed into a stylish and functional hotel that prioritizes your stay experience. As the name "Lumiere" suggests, our serene and dazzling atmosphere is illuminated by a gentle radiance that marks the passage of pleasant moments. After your business or leisure activities in Tokyo, please spend a peaceful and relaxing moment with us.
GGuest User2025.10.09
The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Kasai Station, and the bus stop is diagonally opposite the train station. In the morning, you can take a bus from platform 10 to DisneySea. In the evening, when returning, turn left from the DisneySea exit, walk through the DisneySea subway station to the South Bus Station, and go to platform 9 (make sure you don't go the wrong way).
The breakfast was adequate, nothing special, just enough to fill up. The room was a bit small, only enough space to lay out one 28-inch suitcase flat. DHC skincare samples are available for self-service at the front desk.
There are direct shuttle buses to both Haneda and Narita airports, making it suitable for families visiting Disney. The closest shopping areas are Nihonbashi and Ginza, which are fairly convenient to reach by subway.
Directly connected to JR Shin-Urayasu Station, very convenient! Good access to Tokyo Station in about 17 minutes!
We recommend our spacious 42㎡ guest rooms to soothe your tired body from playing.
We offer services tailored to your needs, including a wide variety of guest rooms that you can choose from to suit your family's needs, as well as a wide selection of restaurants and beauty salons to ensure your stay is comfortable.
This is a hotel where you can enjoy hotel life while fully enjoying Tokyo Disney Resort®.
In order to meet a wide range of needs, we have 7 directly managed restaurants including Western, Japanese, Chinese, and Teppanyaki restaurants, a main bar, and a lounge.

Many people have already reviewed this hotel, noting its spacious rooms and very close proximity to the station, along with a shuttle service to Disneyland.
Now, let me share some drawbacks that weren't frequently mentioned in earlier reviews:
1. The hotel is quite old, with a somewhat Showa-era style. While it's a Japanese hotel, I was surprised by the lack of many facilities. Having stayed in numerous Japanese hotels, I've come to expect ice machines, microwaves, and laundromats in Japanese-managed properties – these were completely missing here. (I had initially deliberated between this hotel and the Hilton, but chose Brighton thinking the Hilton, being internationally managed, wouldn't have these facilities, only to find Brighton didn't either.)
2. There's no bottled water in the room, let alone the 'free mini-bar' mentioned in some reviews. It's even hard to get drinking water here; you have to go to a water dispenser by the elevator. Although they provide a kettle for refilling, honestly, I wasn't too keen on using it.
Aside from these points, the nearby commercial area is quite convenient, with delicious and affordable gyutan (beef tongue) rice, a supermarket, 100-yen shops, and some Japanese clothing stores. If the hotel were to add the facilities mentioned above, the stay experience would be significantly improved.
With a stay at Four Stories Hotel Maihama Tokyo Bay in Urayasu (Maihama), you'll be a 5-minute drive from Tokyo Disneyland® and 5 minutes from Tokyo Bay. This hotel is 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from Tokyo Disney Resort® and 3.7 mi (6 km) from Tokyo DisneySea®.
Make use of convenient amenities, which include complimentary wireless internet access and a vending machine.
Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.

I highly recommend this room!! There are several convenience stores nearby, which was incredibly convenient for grabbing late-night snacks every day after returning from Disney. There's also a large pharmacy and a McDonald's right next door. It's only about a 30-minute ride to Disney.

We enjoyed our stay very much here. The room is spacious and there is a Lawson right inside the hotel. There is not much within the surrounding but the hotel is accessible by bus no. 3 / 23 at Shin-Urayasu Station. The hotel offers coach bus to and from The Disneyland & DisneySea, which is convenient. The bus ride is around 25 minutes. The staff are all very friendly and professional. We would consider staying here next time!
Located in Urayasu, Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay is in the entertainment district, within a 15-minute drive of Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea®. This family-friendly hotel is 7.9 mi (12.7 km) from Tokyo Big Sight and 8.5 mi (13.7 km) from Tokyo Skytree.

10/10. Couldn’t stop raving about this hotel. It’s perfect in so many aspects. I’d gladly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for accommodation near Disneyland & DisneySea. The shuttle bus is super reliable every 10 mins. Please do get the hotel breakfast too. It’s so yummy with variety of spread. The quality is amazing beyond words! The room is big as well. I’m a family of 5 and it fits us very comfortably.
Okay, 1 thing that I need to highlight is the hairdryer! Ladies, please use their ReFa hairdryer and hair straightener. They are game changers! I came across this brand after staying here and I’m a convert. If you’ve used dyson before, ReFa is a super strong contender and dare I say, even better! Your hair just dries so much smoother and they just fall into places nicely.
The amenities provided are just high quality. As a guest, I could feel thoughts were taken into consideration when they plan it. They have facial wash, skin milk, down to hair serum/oil (like what). They are free for you to take as you need, btw. So, what more can i say? The staffs were amazing beyond words too.

Amazing
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)It was ok, too expensive though. I got the family room, the room was big, but the bathroom especially the sink area was cramped, especially for how much the room cost. Small fridge but no freezer. Microwave all the way down in the lobby/foyer, that was annoying. There's a free shuttle bus to/from Shin-Uryasu metro, and also to Disneyland/sea. Its 10 min to the metro, but its about 25 min to Disneysea, because the shuttle stops at the metro and Disneyland first. Although apparently it also takes 25 min by taxi, according to the staff? Not sure. so just be aware, because I booked this hotel originally thinking it was a lot closer than it is to Disneyland. To get into town, its more direct to get to Tokyo station rather than Ueno if using public transport. There is a beautiful nature park right across the road though, that is good for children. You can pay to get the limousine bus to narita from there.
TTuixiudeganjuezhenhaoWe were extremely satisfied with our stay here. We spent two nights at this hotel while visiting Disneyland with our two children. We booked a quad room for two adults and two children, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service to Disneyland right from its entrance. Especially on hot days, I felt this was much better than staying at a Disneyland hotel, as it minimized walking and made our experience much more relaxing.
Breakfast was also excellent, and our children absolutely loved it.
The hotel is about 800 meters from the metro station. Right by the metro exit, there's a shopping complex with a food court that reminds me of a traditional Chinese snack street. It offers a wide variety of snacks that are inexpensive but very delicious.
Wwilljiangsu📍 Transportation: The top choice for Disneyland trips
The hotel's transportation to Disneyland is incredibly convenient. Whether by public transport or taxi, it's very easy to get there. You won't waste time traveling, which is perfect for guests who need to wake up early for the park. Returning to the hotel quickly to rest and recover from a tiring day is also a huge plus.
🛒 Amenities: Full marks for convenience
There are two Lawson convenience stores right downstairs, which is definitely a bonus for travelers! You can grab breakfast like rice balls, sandwiches, and hot drinks, perfect if you're in a hurry. Before heading to the park, you can stock up on Disneyland essentials like water, snacks, and raincoats. Coming back from the park at night, you can also pick up late-night snacks and daily necessities. Shopping and restocking are super convenient, no need to go out of your way at all.
Overall, the stay was fantastic! The double convenience of transportation and amenities made the Disneyland trip much more relaxed. Highly recommended!
DDenghanzeThis is my second time staying at this hotel. The shuttle bus from Haneda Airport directly to the hotel entrance is super convenient. To get to Disneyland, you just take the free Disney shuttle from the first floor, and then hop on the Disney Resort Line monorail. This time, we could even see fireworks from our room at night!
GGuest UserHotel Okura Tokyo Bay is a classic option for travelers looking to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort without breaking the bank on the official ”on-site” hotels. Having stayed here recently, I can give a fair and balanced review: it is a property with clear strengths in space and location, but it also shows its age in places.
First, the location is unbeatable for Disney guests. It's only about a 3-minute walk to Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line monorail . There is also a convenient free shuttle bus to JR Maihama Station, which is great for accessing central Tokyo or connecting to the airport .
The rooms are where this hotel truly shines. We were shocked by how massively spacious the room was—a rare find in Japan . The bathrooms are also huge, featuring a separate shower and a deep bathtub, perfect for soaking sore muscles after a long day at the theme parks . To our surprise, the hotel provided face masks and bath salts in the room, a thoughtful amenity that added a touch of relaxation to our evening .
However, the review wouldn't be fair without mentioning the downsides. The hotel opened in 1988, and while it is impeccably clean, the facilities are undeniably dated. The decor and carpets feel like a step back in time.
In summary, Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay is a solid choice if you prioritize space and a short commute to the Disney parks. Don't expect modern luxury, but do expect a clean, comfortable, and roomy stay.
GGuest UserService: The hotel shuttle is super convenient. After taking the subway from the airport to Maihama Station, you just go downstairs and hop on the shuttle. The next day, it dropped us off at a different station for DisneySea, and then we took the Disney Resort Line from there.
Amenities: The hotel toiletries are by Pola, and the hairdryer was excellent – I honestly think it was better than my Dyson at home.
There's a small convenience store downstairs, but it didn't have much. We ended up walking about 300m to a Lawson at another hotel (it was packed with people coming back from Disney).
GGuest UserThe hotel room is spacious. There's a free shuttle bus to Maihama and the subway station, which is right across from the hotel. They also have another shuttle bus service. The buffet breakfast is served in the main hall on the first floor. It's originally 4000 yen, but after discount, it's 3200 yen, which is pretty good for a taste of Japanese specialties, but be prepared to queue. When returning from Disney, you can buy bento boxes in the lobby, which are also decent.
GGuest Userrecently spent five days at this hotel, and overall, my experience was good. While there were areas that could be improved, the stay was comfortable and satisfactory, making it a place I would consider returning to under similar circumstances. From the moment I checked in, the process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff handled the paperwork quickly, and I was able to get to my room without any delays. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which immediately gave me a sense of ease. Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and I was pleased to see that the housekeeping team did a consistent job throughout my visit. The bed linens were fresh, the bathroom spotless, and the overall atmosphere of the room felt welcoming. Breakfast was included in my stay, and while it was convenient to have this option, I did notice that the variety was quite similar each day. For all five mornings, the offerings were largely the same—bread, eggs, fruit, and a few hot items. While everything was prepared adequately and tasted fine, I would have appreciated a bit more diversity in the menu to keep things interesting. After several days, the repetition became noticeable. That said, the dining area was clean, and the staff ensured that food was replenished promptly, which made the experience pleasant despite the lack of variety. Service throughout the hotel was average. The staff were polite and professional, but I did not feel that they went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. Requests were handled, but sometimes with a delay or without the warmth that can make a guest feel truly valued. For example, when I asked for extra towels, they were delivered, but only after a longer wait than expected. Similarly, while the staff were courteous, they did not engage much beyond the basics. This level of service was acceptable, but it lacked the personal touch that distinguishes a good hotel from a great one. The facilities of the hotel were functional and met my needs. The lobby was tidy, and the common areas were kept in good condition.
チチャンキンFor the last two days of my trip to Japan, I stayed at this hotel within the Disney Resort. It's a very unique hotel, with rooms designed to look like the inside of a ship's cabin. Everything was great, except for the terrible soundproofing. I could hear every little noise from the guests next door, which really affected my rest. If you have the option, I'd definitely recommend booking one of the official Disney hotels instead. After all, when you're traveling, a good night's sleep is essential!
GGuest UserGreat location for people like us that are going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea. Although there is free transport to the park, it starts late. And if you want to get to the park before it opens, use the local bus. The bus stop is 5 min walk away.
