I love this hotel. Love the mix of decor, old building with new modern fittings. The staff are lovely. The amenities in the room are great. Toiletries, towels and bedding are good quality and what a comfy bed 😊 Good breakfast buffet selection. I'll be back

West facing room, view over the V&A museum. Room was immaculate, with tea/coffee station. We had a swim in the pool which is lovely too. Staff very friendly. Kindly gave us some toothbrushes as we forgot. Will definitely be back. We didn't opt for breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive. The room toiletries smelled amazing.

Has bus stop nearby, staff is very attentive and room is big with high ceiling. Restaurant is great and food service too. Good interior design. Window view is very good and can see St. Andrews with river

A pleasant place to stay with friendly staff. The location was great and price reasonable.

Excellent hotel in prime central location with views of the river Tay and both bridges. Staff very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the beefeater was great value for money. Room clean and warm with everything you would expect.

No real complaints about hotel. All staff, reception, cleaners, waiters were very friendly & efficient. Hotel itself is a little dated & in need of an upgrade although the large beds are very comfortable. Small leisure centre is decent with swimming pool, sauna, steam room & gym. Location is just outside the city & only a 5- 10 minute drive. Hotel gardens are nice. Only real disappiontment was the cooked part of the breakfast. All the usual choices, cereal,fruit, yogurts etc ok but the hot food especially the eggs were well overcooked both mornings. Mushroom sitting in water, also the tomatoes. Otherwise, everything ok.

I know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner.
