The proprietress is very enthusiastic and very patient. The room hygiene is very good in the homestay. The towels and bath towels are disposable. The sheets are also very clean. My cleanliness person can sleep very peacefully. Every time I go to the hotel, the proprietress will turn on the heating first, and the service is very attentive. I was afraid that the bottled water in our room was not enough to drink, and I put a few more bottles at the door. The location of the room is in the middle of the scenic spot, the door is the river, the view is quite good!

Sofa was big enough to be a bed. Room size is good. Very cool toilet bowl and strong rain shower. View is good. Kids also got entertained with a wide selection of cartoon movies in room. Easy to locate the hotel by taking didi and dropping near the sujia entrance. Staff were friendly by helping with luggage. Very scenic town. Worth the time to travel (1 hour from Shanghai).

The room is in the scenic area, you can come in when it is free, and then you can play at will in the ancient town.
The boss has a very good attitude and is very caring. If you have any questions, you will reply in time and do it yourself. The room space is super large, the entire second floor and the living room are private areas, and there is also a mahjong table and a projector!
The two rooms are very large and very distinctive, basic toiletries are provided, and disposable towels and bath towels are provided.
When I came, it rained heavily. The boss was very good. We were allowed to keep it here. If the rain was small, we would go ～.
Very satisfied with an experience, I will choose this store next time!

The guesthouse has a great location, right in the most bustling part of the scenic area.
The waterfront rooms are beautiful and charming in the early morning and late at night. However, when there are many tourists, sitting by the window drinking tea means you're very close to the boats, and you might feel a little awkward looking at other tourists on board.
The guesthouse isn't very soundproof, so it might disturb noisy guests who stay up late. But the owner is incredibly kind; worried I'd get tired dragging my luggage, she personally took me and my luggage to the bus station on her scooter – excellent service!

The room was quite clean and quiet, and the view from the window was the Public Security Bureau, which gave a great sense of security. The second-floor platform is perfect for photos, especially at night when the lights are on. It's also very close to the exit of the pedestrian street. The hotel even helped us buy tickets, and we could freely enter and exit until 5 AM the next day. When the hairdryer broke, they quickly sent someone to fix it. We were so tired on the first day that we slept until almost check-out time around 11 AM, but when we asked if we could extend our stay, they let us check out at 2 PM. This hotel is really good!

Overall, I am satisfied with the scenery, the air conditioning, and the service. It is located in the scenic area. The only drawback is that it is inconvenient to leave the scenic area because of the entrance fee. Returning after 17:00 is free, which is not very convenient.

The location was good and the accommodation had a nice Chinese-style classic feel. One thing that was inconvenient was that when I arrived at the accommodation, I had to wait a long time to meet the owner. Of course, he wrote down his phone number and went out, but it was a shame that I couldn't meet him when I checked out.

A very good homestay. After booking, they took the initiative to add WeChat and sent the location and detailed walking route. The courtyard is very beautifully decorated, the room is clean, disposable bath towels and towels are prepared, and the mineral water is also Wahaha😄. The clerk is enthusiastic and prepared wine and snacks. Seeing my two children, they gave me more snacks. It is very close to the entrance of Xitang Ancient Town. Just cross the road. Everything is good! I arrived late this time and didn’t have time to make tea around the stove. I will definitely do it next time!

Perfect location - just a few minutes walk away from the scenic area but far enough to have a great night sleep away from the noise. It was not the easiest to find, as trip.com location wasn't accurate, however we got picked up from one of the entrance gates and guided to the property.
The facilities are simple but smoke free, clean and very comfortable. The courtyard within was lovely and peaceful. We felt welcome.

This is a guesthouse in the Xizha Scenic Area.
It's at the end of a narrow alley, so I couldn't find it on my own. But the staff at the hostel kindly called and asked for the hotel, and I was able to find it. The hotel staff were very friendly.
The room has a lovely atmosphere, and it's perfect for exploring the ancient town late at night or early in the morning.
The air conditioning was weak, so it was a little cold.

DdyhxWhat a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction.
Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed.
The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits.
Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning.
Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out.
Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!

AAnonymous UserThe room was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hotel also has a beautiful 'Qinyuan' garden with cherry trees and wind chimes. After returning from the scenic spot with my elderly family members, we sat in the pavilion, rested, and played cards – it was very pleasant. The front desk even brought us tea, so the service was very thoughtful. It's also very convenient as it's close to the scenic area entrance.

🎈Excellent Location: The guesthouse is right inside the Xitang Ancient Town scenic area.
👍Attentive Service: The owner was there to greet us and take us to the guesthouse. She was also incredibly responsive when we encountered any problems. She even recommended nearby bars. The access control system was very secure, making our stay incredibly safe.
In short, this guesthouse is perfect for family trips, couples' getaways, or solo travelers. I've already added it to my must-stay list for Xitang, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

Dining: We thoroughly enjoyed the dining options, including the Chinese restaurant, the organic cafe, and the breakfast spread. The ingredients were fresh, which gave us peace of mind.
Service: The service truly stood out – it was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, with staff always going the extra mile. A special mention to the cleaning staff: one housekeeper proactively offered me sanitary pads and brown sugar when she noticed I wasn't feeling well. Another time, during breakfast, the staff kindly helped me carry food to my table while I was holding my child.
Family-Friendly Amenities: There's an indoor Montessori kids' club, which, while not huge, is a nice option. Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance.
Photography: We used the 'Qidu Travel Photography' service. They were very efficient and even gifted us three complimentary photos. We were extremely pleased with the results!

GGuest UserI brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful.
Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm!
ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

JJoyMoonStayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free!
The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong.
The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore!
If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!

GGuest UserFinally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip.
We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting.
Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation.
