"The hotel is located not far from St. Joseph's Church, visible from the entrance, within a 10-minute walk. The street in front of the hotel is the main street of the area, lined with restaurants, supermarkets, and markets, making it very convenient. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway station; a subway ride to the Old Town takes about half an hour, and a taxi costs around 20 Canadian dollars. I booked a superior suite, which was basically a one-bedroom apartment. The room's renovation was probably only two years old; although the materials were simple, it was relatively new and clean, and fully equipped, even with pots and pans. We were assigned a room on the back street, and the bedroom was inside, so it was completely quiet. Most importantly, the price was excellent, offering exceptional value. Oh, and if you like desserts, don't miss the tiramisu at the bakery across from the hotel."
"Overall, this is a nice hotel for the price, though there is room for improvement especially considering its Hilton affiliation. Room is comfy & clean, large King bed, friendly staff. I would recommend if you’re going for a night or two for business trips. But you might consider other options if you want to stay there for a longer time."
"Snug room that the hot shower and warm air were all working in severe winter in Montreal. Perfect location with 5 mins walk from the metro station. Also the hotel provides plenty parking lots which suitable for driving visitors. Staff are always friendly and answerable!"
"Located at an accessible location midtown Montreal, the hotel staff are friendly and provided great service. The water pressure for the shower was slightly on the low side, but the stay overall was pleasant. Will definitely come back again."
"Trip.com alerted me a great deal to this hotel as I had no plan to book this. The daily rate is cheaper than Travel lodge. My unit included King size bed & a kitchen. Very spacious unit and everything is clean. I like the usb outlets that are built in on side tables besides the bed and near the couch. My room has no view and but has big windows. The sound insulation is not great as I can hear clearly what the next door is saying. Breakfast is nice and above average. Underground parking is available for $20 a day. The location is good, across the street from Walmart and many restaurants. 20mins to downtown Montreal. The roads are very much under repairs and lots of pot holes so commute may take longer due to it. Most street limits are 40km unless you go on to highways."
GGuest UserSecond time visiting this hotel, yet still impress by the hospitality and amenities. Central location, friendly staff and rooftop swimming pool, great vacation spot.
EEntengInaMoSamesun Montreal is hands-down my go-to hostel in the city. Every stay has been consistently great — welcoming staff, a fun atmosphere, and a layout that makes it easy to meet other travelers. The rooms and common areas are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the vibe is exactly what you want in a hostel: social but still relaxed enough to get a good night’s sleep. Whether I’m visiting Montreal for a quick trip or a longer stay, Samesun is always my first choice. Highly recommended!
