Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel
"An unparalleled experience, featuring a kitchen and open-plan bathroom, with a sumptuous breakfast."
Hotel South Beach
"The facilities are rather basic, but the hotel's back door connects to the beach, making it convenient to get there."
Crocs Resort & Casino
"The service at this hotel was very good, and the food was okay. The main issue was the room. The curtains had holes, and the walls were so thin you could hear absolutely everything, even just people opening their luggage in other rooms. The shower was in the bathtub, and the water would just pool up while we were showering. The room just wasn't comfortable :("
Best Western Jaco Beach All Inclusive Resort
"Great food. Amazing service"

Jaco Hotel DoceLunas
Hotel Los Ranchos
"Jaco really isn’t for families anymore. The hotel shows a picture that it is next to an empty plot: Well that is a 20 story building now. Some AC units are too old, making very loud vibrations. We had 2 cockroaches in the room despite closed windows. If you need to be in Jaco, check out the hotel on the other side of the creek. If you have a choice, drive a couple more kilometres to a nicer village."
Clarita’s Beach Bar & Resort
"The new hotel was recently built at the site of the photos of the old motel that are still on this website. The new owner kept the name as a tribute to the local woman that opened the original restaurant in the 1960s. The new hotel is very modern and very clean. The rooms are very well designed, and every room has a balcony overlooking the beach and the ocean. Each night you will see sunsets that are unmatched. I stayed here with my wife, teenage son, and my son's friend. Everyone loved it. The food is unbelievably good and well thought out. We ate at both the restaurant downstairs and the sushi restaurant upstairs. I never thought I would be raving about a sushi restaurant in Costa Rica, but it was some of the best sushi we have ever tried. The hotel staff are very kind and attentive. The only noise was the welcomed sound of the ocean waves when we opened the door to the balcony. The gym is well-equipped and large and there is plenty of room for swimming in the pools, which both face the beach and the ocean. We ate most of our meals at the hotel because the food was so good and well-priced. If you are looking for a memorable vacation with ample relaxation, amenities, and access to Costa Rica's world-famous excursions, book a stay at this hotel now!"
Amapola Resort
"The service. The facilities are good but need a bit more maintenance."

Casajungla Hostel
"Excellent little hostel, spotlessly clean in a nice quiet part of town. The beach is beautiful just down the road and the staff were very nice too. I sadly forgot to take a picture of our lovely room but we had 3 pillows each, 3 towels, lots of plug sockets beautiful shower and a fully equipped kitchen, also spotlessly clean. It’s just a shame we could only stay one night!!"
Hotel Mar de Luz
Oceano Boutique Hotel & Bistró
"The hotel is excellent, the level is not lower than **** stars, you can choose breakfasts, the staff tries and they succeed, it is quiet, calm and cozy, the manager Alexandra, speaks several languages, including Russian!!! A pair of jaguars, a male and a female, were sitting on a tree five meters from my balcony, the male was posing, the female was shy, then they disappeared. Beautiful view from the window and from the balcony below the pool. I recommend you will not regret it. The sea has big waves, you can't swim, but you can hurry up and watch the trees grow"
Hotel Cabinas Jacomar
"Cabinas Jacomar is a budget-friendly place located right in the heart of Jacó, just a short walk from the beach. The rooms are basic but clean, offering essentials like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The staff are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome. Its central location is convenient for exploring Jacó’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife. However, due to this, noise can be an issue, especially for light sleepers. Some rooms may have limited amenities such as inconsistent hot water. Overall, Cabinas Jacomar is a practical choice for travelers who want affordable, no-frills accommodation close to the beach and town center."
Room2Board Hostel and Surf School
"Had an excellent stay in June. The mixed dorm had great AC, the pool and rooftop were lovely, and the breakfast was riquísimo (I recommend the burrito). A super short path away from the beach (the southern end of Playa Jacó, which I find to be nicer). The only downfalls: it's on the southern end of the strip, so you might be walking a bit to explore town, and while each floor has 2 bathrooms with 2 showers and 2 toilets each, some faucets didn't work and stall doors stuck, so high season might be tricky. Overall a great spot and I'll stay again when I get the chance!"
Hotel Green
Apartotel Flamboyant
Ela Kosher Hotel and Synagogue
"Our stay was a complete disappointment. We booked the hotel as Emma Hotel, however when we arrived, there was no sign with that name at the entrance — instead, it said Izus Place. This immediately raised concerns. The hotel was very dirty, with unacceptable hygiene standards. Breakfast was extremely poor and low quality. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, in my opinion it does not even deserve 2 stars. I would not stay here again and definitely would not recommend it to anyone."
