The best hotel in Johannesburg. Safe area, great shopping center nearby. Polite staff, pleasant guests. Check-in was quick, renovations are excellent. I had a wonderful time here, too bad I only stayed two nights. One downside: there were issues with payment. I had already paid for the hotel on Trip.com, but reception said the payment hadn't been processed yet. I had to mail the receipt to the hotel employee. Only the next day did they tell me there were no problems and the hotel had been paid.

My stay at Hotel Sky was a much needed staycation for me. I needed some peace & quiet for the weekend and I got exactly that and more! The room was beautifully vibrant & clean, the bed was comfortable and cozy. I loved the blackout blinds it made my sleep even better. I enjoyed the spa so much & the ladies there are friendly, in fact from the moment I walked into the hotel I was helped with the checking in process & taken to my room by one of the staff members. I love how everyone is hands on in making sure your stay is wonderful.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

It was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

I spent some nights at Lux Leisure in Sandton and couldn't have been happier. From the moment we walked into the lobby, the staff made us feel like royalty. The Room: Spotlessly clean, modern, and the view was incredible from the balcony. The Amenities: We spent most of our time at the apertement, which was well-maintained and never felt too crowded. The Service: A special shoutout to staff for going above and beyond to help us with Request. Bottom Line: If you're looking for luxury and comfort in Sandton, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

I had an outstanding stay here during my recent business trip. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to navigate to meetings while still having great local amenities nearby. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, which is always my top priority. I was also very impressed with the facilities; the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there was a comfortable workspace that made it easy to stay productive. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff was professional, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a seamless experience. The location was convenient, and the check-in process was quick and easy. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again. I stayed here for two weeks. There was daily cleaning which was great. The room was clean and cozy and had everything I could need. The hotel was simple, nothing to complain about. The staff were great and friendly all the time. Some neighbors were loud but nothing to be scared of as I felt safe at all times. Unfortunately there was construction during my whole stay, but they were friendly too and kept the dust at a minimum. It was also a 5 minute Uber to Sandton which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a long term stay.
