PROS: Met me with a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake in the room on my birthday. That was really nice.
Nice wine.
Great location.
CONS: : As to the total design of room I was a bit disappointed. The pictures looked nicer than in reality. I had Deluxe Room. The terrace is situated so inconvenient—> it follows another on in front. So no privacy at all. The distance b/w 2 terraces less than a meter.
Pool is super small. It is situated in the area of bar and breakfast zone. I think it is uncomfortable to use it. For maximum 2 people.
Breakfast is not cost its money. Everyday the same
Tiny reception.
I wouldn’t recommend the hotel—> price vs value.

Guest Usergreat place, but small breakfast. the rooms have a problem with humidity and heating, but that is a known thing for southern portugal. all was super clean and quiet. If the breakfast buffet would have been more extensive and the staff at the buffet more friendly, it would be a 5/5

GDxingzheIt was already dark when it arrived in Lagos, and lucky to find a free parking space in front of the hotel.
The style of the hotel is very retro and rich in Portuguese flavor. Divided into two parts, the hotel and the apartment. Our room was on the second floor of a two-story small building with a decorative theme of medieval Portugal. Portuguese tiles are everywhere, Portuguese tiles (blue and white porcelain plate Azulejos) are developed after absorbing Islamic pottery, Chinese blue and white porcelain and Dutch porcelain, often with blue and white patterns for large areas of interior and exterior decoration. The bedside of our room is also tiled.
The breakfast buffet is particularly rich and included in the price. It is worth mentioning that all tableware is the brand of Vista Alegre, which is the oldest porcelain factory in Portugal and the designated royal palace of Portugal.

A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful team of staff. Can’t recommend their names but everyone was attentive to our needs and requests.
The rooms are in three or four, detached houses located next to each other, giving it a cosy, private resort-like place. There s small pools with lounges which is perfect for those who want to laze around.
Location is away from the centre, but it works if you like it this way. Bolt rides are cheap, so this wasn’t a problem to go and return from the centre.

The hotel is just 14 mins walking from the beach. The room was big and very clean. Breakfast is simple but you can find everything. There is sauna and gym, free parking.

As I was travelling alone I chose a large hotel with amenities. The hotel was very large and my room was a 5 minute walk away from reception. The room was small but for just me, was perfect. A good shower over a bath and complementary toiletries were provided. There was unfortunately no tea and coffee making facilities. I had a sea view which was a bonus. The indoor swimming pool and gym were small but were available if you wanted them and never busy when I was there. I sat round the outside pool which was pleasant but as it was early March I didn't attempt a swim!! Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and the staff worked very hard to ensure the food was topped up and the tables cleared and ready for the next guests. A lovely touch, all the ladies were presented with a flower on women's day. They used a hawk to ensure guests are not bothered by seagulls and pigeons. All in all a great stay.

Guest UserThe location is convenient (a 5-minute walk to the embankment and the old town). The beach with its observation decks is 10 minutes away. The pool area is beautiful, with pleasant, soft music playing. The room has a kitchen with kitchenware, a comfortable bed, and air conditioning. Reception helped me book a cave tour and explained how to get to the meeting point. Breakfasts are a bit repetitive, but quite good.

The Belver Porto Dona Maria is a Resort with a big Golfinh place. You book houses there which are en n good shape. Normally Kitchen togethee with big living room, bath with shower and pod and sleeping room. You have all things which are in a kitchen needed also a refrigerator and can cock by yourself. The friendky cleaning service (like Fatima) comes ever day and so its clean. The manager of the property will gelp you if you sre in trouble. A big swimming pool area is included to visit. You have a card for using it.Also the location is n near of the beach a small walk brings you to panorama views and amazing clips. I‘ve enjoyed the place and other people looking at my, of course its cheaper to book than a little hotel room of course Praia da loose is expensive.

Reception is friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Willing to help/answer to any question/request. Location is fine as a base or stopover to visit Algarve (Benagil, Lagos, Sagres etc.) by car. Competitive price and all rooms look good with a view on the pool and the sea, good bathroom. Only downsides are that the room is missing some cutlery/dishes/coffee/tea, since the bar/restaurant is not to be recommended. Overall, when I am traveling this part of Portugal by car again I would definitely book here.
