"I stayed in a bungalow and it is so cute. I loved the open bathroom. Very simple. From the bathroom it is opened to outside and sadly didn’t have a lock for bathroom from inside to lock when you want to close door and it is bit security concerned, but the staff said there are many cameras in the hostel and there was no incident had happened in the history. My stay was very nice. Staff is very kind and friendly also helpful. I extended my stay there as a solo traveler, it is very easy to go to beach and do diving also it is located in restaurant area. Simply very good and probably if I come back I will book the same Bungalow again."

"Location 10/10. We checked in late at night and were quite disappointed with the room we had paid for. In the morning, we paid a symbolic extra fee at the front desk and moved to a garden villa! The only downside was the mosquitoes.
The breakfasts were tasty, and while the selection wasn't huge, you definitely wouldn't leave hungry. We asked for more cut fruit a few times and they brought it to us.
You can borrow masks, fins, and life vests for free if you want to swim at the reef. Alternatively, you can take a 15-minute ride on a glass-bottom boat.
Sardines and turtles are within walking distance. You pay 100 pesos, and if you want photos, you can hire a guide with a camera, and you'll have wonderful shots."

"The room was very spacious and clean. AC was well functioning, the restroom is also a reasonable size, there are racks and a space where u can also hang/dry wet clothes, the bed was huge and the room is really nice overall. The pool is also clean and there is a big area where u can sit and settle your stuff while you're using the pool. Staff was also very accommodating. The place was also really calm and quiet."

"I had a great stay at Sisters Inn in panagsama Beach, Moalboal. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I mentioned that I was leaving a day early and wanted to move to an air-conditioned room, and they very generously swapped me over without charging the usual extra fee for the upgrade.
There's a cute little restaurant downstairs (as shown in my photos), although I didn't actually get a chance to try the food. One thing I really appreciated was the fridge downstairs stocked with water and soft drinks available to purchase 24 hours a day—very handy when you come back after a few drinks and need some hydration before bed!
The location is excellent: close enough to everything in Panagsama Beach, but much quieter than many of the other places nearby. I slept really well and wasn't woken up by hens crowing or dogs barking in the morning, which seems to be a rarity in some parts of the area.
Overall, a comfortable, well-located place with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a pleasant stay at D Gecko Hotel overall. The hotel is located a bit farther in along an unpaved road, which made the access slightly inconvenient.
We booked a family room, and it was very spacious, perfect for our group. It came with two single beds and one double bed, which made it comfortable for everyone. We also appreciated the small details like having a kettle in the room and a free water dispenser available for refills, which was a big plus.
The only downside for us was the pillows, which were not very comfortable for sleeping. Aside from that, it was a nice stay and good value for families."

"This is a really great spot, you couldn't ask for a better or more convenient place for snorkeling. Just buy a mask and you can swim for free as long as you like. The AC works 24/7, the bedding is clean, and the shower is excellent with good water pressure. There's even a place to park your motorbike. It's only a 1-minute walk to the beach. You can rent new life jackets for 50 pesos a day. To the left of the exit, before lunch, they sell cheap, hearty homemade food (WELL'S KITCHEN). A bit further around the corner, you'll find cheap fruits and groceries, much more affordable than on the main road. The staff is friendly, and there's daily cleaning. The lockers are clean and spacious. Perfect!"

"When we arrived, there was a group of ants having a meeting in the restroom. I’m not sure what the sticky-looking liquid they were investigating was. There were also ants on the door and in the bed. There was no tissue in the room as well.
However, the housekeeping staff took action immediately after we called. I just hope they can improve their preparation and inspection of the room before guests arrive. The air conditioner was also not cold.
On the positive side, the food was unexpectedly delicious. It was served in our room, and to my surprise, we were allowed to eat inside the room. Perhaps this was also one of the reasons why there were ants around.
The service and generosity of the staff were extremely good. Overall, despite the issues, our stay was still good."

We were supposed to stay two nights but ended up extending our stay to three, proof that we really enjoyed this resort.
The Filipino staff is exceptional: welcoming, smiling, and always available. The manager is fantastic, very professional, speaks several languages, and we have absolutely no complaints. Upon our departure, there was even a French-speaking receptionist, which made communication even easier.
The food is excellent, of very high quality. It's a bit more expensive, but that's perfectly understandable given the resort's secluded location.
The resort is out of the way, so access can be a little tricky, but that's the price you pay for absolute peace and quiet, a virtually deserted beach, and an immaculate pool. Scooters can easily be rented to reach the amenities.
I don't understand some of the negative reviews: you can't expect tranquility without accepting a bit of isolation.

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful! I felt so welcome. It was my first time in the Philippines, and they patiently answered all my travel questions and provided great assistance. The common areas have super gentle resident dogs and cats, who are very well-behaved. The facilities are a little bit dated; mainly, the refrigerator made a slight noise when cooling (though you can just unplug it). Breakfast is à la carte and delicious, especially the corned beef, I think it was called. I slept very soundly.
We booked the Sardine Run (our first snorkeling experience) and canyoning through the hotel. Here's how it went: the Sardine Run was 1900 pesos per person? I forgot the price for canyoning, but it wasn't expensive at all, and totally worth it!"

Guest UserExcellent hotel! The rooms are cozy, and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the grounds are well-maintained too. The location isn't the most convenient if you're on foot, but the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot. They also offer scooters at a very good price – cheaper than renting them 'on the street'. When we arrived, all the scooters were taken, but the girls at the reception suggested a company they work with, and everything was delivered right to the hotel for us. When a hotel scooter became available, we took that. They also helped us with tours. We initially booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another 3. By the way, the transfer from the hotel is also more cost-effective than arranging it yourself.
The hotel owners, Nick and Raquel, are very kind and open-hearted; it was a real pleasure and very interesting to chat with them. Abigail and the other girls are also positive and always ready to help. At this hotel, you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Thank you! We would be very happy to stay with you again!)

TLDR: an amazing stay in general. Perfect for people seeking a getaway
The hotel is located a bit south to the moalboal town center (approx. 10min by tutuk or motorbike) and away from the main road. You’ll need to cross a bridge made of bamboo sticks first to find your entrance. It’s a quiet place where you can only hear the nature and your own thoughts.
I’d highly recommend the restaurant because they offer great food at a reasonable price, although takes some time to serve so order in advance. Kudos to the owners who are almost always present and will come to the table to introduce themselves and make recommendations if needed. Staff are well-trained and very helpful.
You’ll also get the chance to observe some of the wildlife species like birds and lizards while staying there, which is a plus for me.
A 10/10 experience. Don’t miss it if you enjoy some peace and quiet in the nature.

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, sea shore and many dive and activity places yet away from the main crowded areas.
We stayed in a twin room and a family room. The twin room's facilities were good with convenient storage space with in the room and the bathroom. The bathroom was super clean and spacious. The room was very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning, the fan was very noisy though.
The family room was had a little bit more ”worn out” feel with less storage space for the clothes and none in the (small) bathroom. Fortunately we were only two persons staying in that room, it would have been more difficult to comfortably accommodate 4 persons in this room. The room and bathroom were clean, the AC efficient (noisy fan here as well).
The breakfast options were simple but ok, convenient for a quick breakfast before you go to activities. There are plenty of other options available around though. We did not try the restaurant for lunch or diner.

VladislavIsaevWe were there with my daughter just for some days and spent to receive PADIS diving certification due to the coach Lin and Head of diving center John, see the Mallball paintful food market and see the local life in seaside. The seawater is clear like glass, plenty of sealife under the leg even close to the beach, awesome surrounding - mountains, tropical vegetation and fancy restaurants and hotels along the beach and of course local boats looking rustic and gorgeous. The food was delicious, staff was friendly. Everything was the best!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a refreshing atmosphere in a remote location and especially if you’re into advanced diving this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed for just 1 night, as we wanted to explore other activities and we’re not advanced divers, so we decided to change our plans.
A quick tip: prepare cash in advance. The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so you’ll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. The resort only accepts cash.
The highlight for us was the stunning sea view and breathtaking sunset. The property isn’t very large, but with plenty of trees it feels secluded and peaceful. The food was also delicious.

Good for diving in Moalboal, its neptune diving shop are downstairs, only 10 metres away from the coast. But of course, the location is at the end of the street. a bit far from the main street restaurants but it just a 5-10mins walk, acceptable . But it is noisy at night, because it is facing a night club . can hear shouting and music from my room till 2-3am.... the hotel restaurant downstairs but my booking didn't include the breakfast , buy separately will be around 200-300 peso.
Air conditioning is not cool enough. no tooth brush ,paste and hair dryer provided. And the water is hardwater, you can buy bottle water yourself. we arrived late, needed to climb to the top (3rd floor). the staff also helped to take the luggage.
The hotel provided car pick up service from Cebu Mactan airport 3000peso 3-4hrs. provided Kawasan fall Canoyeering with transport ticket and lunch 2500 per person (4hrs) with ”Nancy Kawasan shop”.
Scuba Diving shore 1600peso with gear and dive master, called ”Ar-ink”, nice person.

The hotel is old. There are rotten parts in the pool area, and you could fall through the wooden floors. The hotel is far from the city center, and it's impossible to walk to any amenities. However, the hotel's cuisine is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the service is top-notch.

An absolute nice place to stay in the heart of moalboal. The place was small yet cute offering hostel and private rooms. They are clean and the staffs are very helpful. The downside is that it is in the absolute center so noisy during the evening or else it is perfect to stay in the price.

The hotel's air conditioning is a proper AC unit, not just a cooler! It was so much quieter! Other places had noisy coolers that kept me from sleeping. The hotel front desk can also book tours with pick-up and drop-off, which is incredibly convenient... I wish I had known about this hotel sooner! Highly recommend!

Has a lot of potential. Location is good and staff were helpful in ordering Tuk tuks to the town and organising day trips.
Unfortunately our shower kept going cold but they did do their best to sort it.
