"The best hotel experience! My partner and I were greeted with friendly faces as soon as we walked in, with cold facecloths to cool us down. The receptionists remember your name, and make booking tours, transport and other arrangements so easy! We booked tours, motorbike rental and even spa appointments through the front desk. My partner and I accidentally overbooked our stay, but the hotel allowed us to use the overbooked nights as credit for any bookings through them. The hotel is so clean, air-conditioned and well maintained, including room service. All the staff are so lovely and helpful with any questions and concerns. The location of the hotel is very close to the port and town, with short walking distance. I highly recommend staying at this accommodation to streamline your experience in el nido! Staying at this hotel added to our memorable experience of el nido that me and my partner will forever cherish. Thankyou especially to Remy, Elize and Pau 💗"

"This hotel is situated slightly back from the beach bars which are only a few minutes stroll away. Its on a busy road and traffic noise can be heard from the apartments that face the road, ear plugs are provided both traffic did die down late evening.  The rooms are spacious and clean with air-conditioning, they do not have an elevator but bags were taken up by the porters who gave a great service. The staff are very helpful and polite, go that extra step to help you, they have a nice bar and good seating area with some seating along side the swimming pool. Break fast was good with plenty of choice with Ann egg station to where you could order your desired omelet. Wifi was also qood with plenty of plugs down stairs in the lounge. The beds were comfy but made a clattering noise when changing sleeping position, its only my opinion but to me the pillows were too large, would preferred slimmer pillows. I would recommend this hotel if your going to stay in El Nido, great location not near any boom boom bars the are alive till the early morning, what our stay at this hotel special was the staff that made our stay most welcome and all being on first name terms."

"Hands up to this place. The room was nice, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They will tend to your concern and make you feel their hospitality. They also have free breakfast every morning and all of it are freshly made. The room has fresh linens, cold AC, hot and cold showers. The only cons during our visit is that there’s no wifi due to aftermath of a recent typhoon but overall this is 10/10 hostel. I’ll stay with them once I go back soon"

"Sea view room is on the third floor, a few palm trees in the way but you can still see the sea properly. Breakfast at the restaurant facing the water, go early and it’s not too busy. Hotel guests can also use the pool and gym in the glamping area next door, though it’s a bit of a walk and the pool is on the smaller side. When I got there the sun loungers were all taken, so I ended up at the free beach loungers instead. There’s open water right there, so honestly it worked out better. The bathroom is narrow and shower only. If you don’t want to get your hair wet there’s a good hairdryer provided, which helps."

"Amazing hotel with the kindest staff! Everyone at the reception was always smiling, helpful and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, although we would have loved to see a bit more meat options since we’re big meat lovers 😄 The room has a beautiful mountain view, and the location is perfect, very close to the downtown. There is also a church nearby! hearing the choir sing in the morning was surprisingly peaceful and lovely😇 The only thing I would add is a shuttle service to the beaches at certain times for hotel guests Thank you so much for your warmth"

"The hotel is a an 8-10 minute walk from the local McDonald's – that's where the transfer drops you off. If you contact the hotel in advance, the staff can come and help with your luggage. If you only have carry-on, you can walk on your own: the path is sandy but very scenic, running along the beach and the sea. Currently, the hotel consists of two buildings. The rooms in the building with the reception are more spacious and cozy. There's no TV in the room, but with such a magnificent view, you don't even need one! 🙂 You can rent a moped directly at the hotel, but the road to it is quite challenging: a steep ascent and an equally steep descent. If you're not a confident rider, it might be tricky. Drink prices are about twice as high as in the store, but this is standard for all hotels on the island. Breakfasts are decent, but not amazing – for this price, you could find more interesting options even on the way to McDonald's. Overall, we enjoyed everything. Thanks to all the hotel staff ❀"

"The hotel faces the sea. Very cute. Well-thought-out design. Everywhere you can see signs stating that environmentally friendly materials were used in its construction. The rooms are small, but very cozy and clean. There are hammocks at the entrance to the rooms. Everything is made with love. Friendly and helpful staff. There are several shops, a spa and even an Italian restaurant nearby. We regret that we spent only one night here."

The sea at Nacpan in the early morning is a blue-grey colour, not dull grey but textured, almost like matte glass. The light comes slowly over the mountains and spreads across the water. I joined the free morning yoga class the resort offers, on the beach, which was very comfortable. One small frustration: not enough storage in the villa. Not many shelves or hooks, so camera gear and clothes had nowhere to go. The suitcase stayed open on the floor the whole time, which gets awkward in a small space. If you’re bringing a lot, just know that going in. The room has a coffee machine and mini fridge, but I still liked walking to the restaurant. Head out before sunset, lie on a sun lounger, have dinner, then wander back slowly. The stars at night were more than I expected.

From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. This room was a nice treat, the room was massive! I love the Japanese inspired design and the smart toilet. The hotel is quiet and very close to the Lio beach front with cafes and restaurants (2min walk). It’s a nice beach too, to watch planes take off from the nearby El Nido airport. The hotel offers a free loan of electric bikes which was fun to explore the surroundings. I spotted monkeys outside the accommodation too! They offer a free shuttle every hour to El Nido town which is helpful if you have a tour, are going to the port, or just want to explore. Ron, the driver, is nice and helpful. The service really is the best part of the experience. Every single hotel worker and cleaning staff greeted us with smiles and welcomes, and went out of their way to look after their guests, particularly the reception staff Marv, Par, Rich, and Dan. Marv gave us local recommendations.

I didn’t feel like leaving! This place is a gem. It’s nestled on top of a small hill with mind blowing views. The room (Joglo 5) had spectacular views from the balcony and was very well equipped. It was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The infinity pool and restaurant were the icing on the cake. Beautiful sunsets and vibe! Service was also excellent - thanks to Wilma, RV, Maggie, Lemer, Geo, Lester, Ellen, the Chef, and all others!

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Matinloc Island is truly one of the best places to visit in El Nido, Palawan. The island offers not only breathtaking natural beauty but also an unforgettable experience thanks to its delicious food and wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. They treated us like family and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. The cooking was excellent — every meal was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The seafood was especially amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served with care we very love the steam fish. Big thank you for the chef 10/10,dining by the beach while enjoying the view made the experience even more special. The room design was modern, with touches of tropical style that made it feel warm and relaxing. The large windows and balcony offered stunning views of the beach and ocean — waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of crystal-clear water was simply magical. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The staff made sure our room was always tidy and fresh, and they were quick to assist with any requests. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with good water pressure and quality toiletries provided. Aside from the food and service, the island itself is absolutely stunning. The hotel is located just beside the public market, its not a luxury hotel but its good enough , rooms are spacious, quiet .  Staff are friendly, its a km away or 100 pesos tricycle ride to the the lively Tourist area where you can join the island tour.  But near the hotel there is also a port area name Curong Curong where you can just walk and join the island tour.  Breakfast is not bad, Rice, bread, eggs, veggies and Two kind of meat that changes everyday.  Not much restaurant around the hotel area, Town Square has a ton of restaurant.

This is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs. The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour. Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though. The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

It's a nice place in front of the beach but the beach and water are not as beautiful as in the islands. I would recommend it if you want to open your eyes and see the beautiful sea and mountains around. The only bad thing is there is not a nice lobby where you can sit, chill and wait for your transportation. :)
