"I just finished a quick 1-night stay at H Hotel El Nido, and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. The first thing that hits you is the view—waking up in the Deluxe Double Room with that mountain backdrop was such a vibe. What really sets this place apart is the whole ”vegan-friendly” concept. Even if you aren't strictly vegan, the food is fresh, creative, and delicious. It’s so much better than the typical, boring hotel buffets you see everywhere else. After a long day of exploring, hanging out at the bar or hitting the spa was the perfect way to unwind. The staff were super chill and helpful, making the whole experience feel personal rather than just another transaction. It’s clean, modern, and has a great energy. If you’re heading to El Nido and want a place that’s a bit more conscious and stylish, this is definitely it."

"Finally, a good night's sleep in El Nido! The biggest worry about staying in the town center is the bass from bars and the noise of motorbikes at dawn. I chose J Boutique because it’s located on the outskirts of the main town—it's much quieter, and there’s a huge massage parlor right next door! The room isn't big, but the refreshing color palette is very relaxing. My only minor gripe is that you can still hear people talking in the hallway, but compared to the chaos of the main street, this place is heaven. The bedding was dry and fresh, which is a huge plus for me since I hate that damp island smell."

"I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great. Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places. Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries. Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan. Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens. Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes."

"This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!"

"Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of food, I enjoy the salad and pastries the most. Thank you Lime resort for making our stay a memorable one 💗"

"Even with a late check-in, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean, and having a terrace was great for drying swimsuits after a dip. The direct access from the pool to the sea was incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The bed was plush, and the pillows were super comfortable. The pool is stunning! The location is also fantastic, being close to shopping areas, restaurants, and tour operators. And a big bonus: at night, you can see countless stars from the beach in front of the pool area – it's like they're pouring down! Everything was perfect, with only one minor drawback: there was only one mirror, located in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient. If there had been just one more mirror, it would have been absolutely flawless."

"This is a simply wonderful hotel with included breakfast. We always had the cheese omelet, highly recommended! The rooms are clean, the air conditioning works well, and there was hot water throughout our stay. They cleaned our room as needed. It's very close to the port and the bustling main street, but you can't hear the noise from there, it's very peaceful."

"”After more than thirty years of travelling, you know what actually makes a hotel good. It comes down to whether anyone is really listening. The staff at Z Garden were listening. When we arrived Lena’s foot was bothering her. They asked what was going on, then recommended a few spots that would suit her better and suggested which activities to avoid. That one response changed the mood of the whole day. And the hotel being so close to the water meant retirement travel didn’t cost us unnecessary energy getting anywhere. "Hotel Cuna is a solid 3-star. The rooms are simple, no frills, but clean and generally fine for staying in El Nido. The staff is a big plus for the hotel: Filipinos are very kind, welcoming, and eager to help. It's worth noting that some rooms face a farm where chickens and roosters can crow loudly at night – that was my experience. My request to change rooms directly with the hotel was unsuccessful, and contacting them through Trip.com also yielded no results. The main advantage of the hotel is its rooftop restaurant and bar: the food is very tasty, and there's a stunning view of the city and the sea, especially at sunset. For the rooftop restaurant and the views alone, the hotel is definitely worth considering."
