"This hotel is in a lively area of Daegu, right next to the Yangnyeongsi market. There's a Haidilao and a 7-Eleven downstairs, and Dongseong-ro is nearby. However, you'll need to take the subway to get to Dongdaegu. Overall, I was very satisfied. Even though the hotel was busy every day, breakfast was never an issue; there were always plenty of seats. They had sukiyaki beef and radish beef soup, which was quite a good spread. The room was spacious enough to open three suitcases without a problem. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was very strong and made me feel a bit dizzy. Remember that hotels in Korea typically don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so bring your own."

"It is very near to Dongdaegu train station. GPS will walk the ”best” route which had us climb up a rather steep slope to other side, tiring hauling luggage along! A more flat route was available, slightly longer :). The room was very spacious and clean, a PC was available, a huge bathroom with tub. The LG styler was the best thing in the room to help refresh our clothe... Love it! A 10min+ walk got us to a street full of eateries. There is also a big mall just outside the train station. Airport around 15 min taxi ride. One note when booking a taxi on k-ride, the pickup spot somehow jumped to the back street, beware. It would better to use the open car park next to the hotel for pickup point."

"It feels like the building was built later on the site of what was originally a hanok house. The owner is a clean freak, so the place is kept very clean. There are old erotic paintings hanging here and there, and locals may be imagining it as a motel, but when I stayed there, everyone I met was a tourist. The shower had strong, hot water, the room was spacious, and I could watch Netflix, so I was very satisfied. The bathroom door opens at the bottom. I think it would be fine for couples or families. The staff were also very kind. Thank you."

"Except for the small room (similar to Toyoko Inn in Japan), everything else is great. The air conditioning is very good, and there is a small balcony. Because the weather is dry and windy, if you wash your underwear, hang it on the balcony chair with a hanger, it will be dry the next morning. The counter staff can communicate in English. It is right that the room rate includes breakfast, because the restaurants in this area are almost open from afternoon to evening, and breakfast shops can only be eaten simply at CU, emart24, GS25 or 7-11 convenience stores. The breakfast restaurant on the 2nd floor provides hot and cold water, which is very convenient for people like us who only drink warm water and can be taken at any time. There is an open rooftop on the 11th floor with sunshade and chairs. You can go up there to sit and look at the street view or the sky on a good night. It's great! It's about 5-8 minutes walk from Dongdaegu Station. It's also convenient to take a bus to Daegu Station, West Daegu or other attractions in South Daegu. The room price is not high. It is a good choice for accommodation in Daegu."

"Our stay at the Hound Hotel was magnificent. We received royal treatment from the owner of the hotel and are indebted to him for his kindness and willingness to ensure we were comfortable and well cared for. Despite our language barrier, the staff were keen to assist us at all times and there were always lots of smiles. AAnonymous UserHere’s a refined version while keeping your warm, positive tone: Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu. Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!

NNanookleskimoThe house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

CC.biI cannot fault this hostel. Easy check in, the owner speaks good English and is very helpful, the hostel itself is very well thought out with everything you might need (there's even a makeup room in the third floor with lots of mirrors and hair straighteners as well as hair dryers) the spaces are all very clean, great amenities and public spaces, and it is in an ideal location. Walking distance from the train station and near many interesting tourist spots. I would highly recommend going to a tourist information point and getting a map that has the Stamp walking tour (not available in the hostel even though they have many city maps and travel information easily accessible) collecting the stamps is very fun on its own but if you follow the tour you'll get to find a lot of hidden gems along the way that are all very near and around the Hostel, all of this for free and it only takes a couple of hours.

LLagertha14The accommodation is very comfortable with complete facilities. Although we arrived before check-in time, the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage. During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. We had reserved breakfast, but it was not available, so the hotel refunded us and upgraded our room for one night. However, we had to move to a different room the next night due to ongoing renovations. The room conditions matched the pictures shown. The staff was lovely and, despite not speaking English, made great efforts to assist us. There are convenience stores and numerous restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient for work. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance. If there is an opportunity, we will stay here again.

GGuest UserIt was so good that I regret staying only for one day. First of all, the location is right in front of Jungangno Station, and Banwoldang is also close. It is about 5 minutes from Daegu Station, and there is a convenience store right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurants and bars around. Above all, it is hard to find a room for 3 people, but it is an extra bed, and Noble Stay has a room with 3 single beds, so It was so good. On top of that, it is spacious. It is really this size for this price.... Even the bathroom was impressive! And there is a styler!!! It rained a lot during the trip, so my clothes got wet, but it was nice that I could dry them thanks to the styler. It was also nice that I could leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out. The breakfast was perfect. There were not many options, but they were all delicious. I will definitely visit again next time. Thank you to the staff for being so kind. I highly recommend it.

BBeverlyleeWe took an early flight and arrived at the hotel just after 7 a.m. We contacted the landlord through Line and he immediately responded and asked us to send our luggage first. If anything happened, he would call back immediately and solve it immediately. It was great! The building has a large appearance and is easy to recognize. It is very close to the bus station and subway station. It is very close to shopping and shopping. The room has everything you need at an affordable price. It has a 5-star rating! Highly recommend!!

YYohanaWhile it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

GGuest UserThe hotel was good enough for one night. However, the check in process was quite difficult for a foreigner who doesn't speak any Korean, so make sure you have your translation apps handy! The room itself smelled a bit like cigarettes. I'm not sure if I accidentally booked a smoking room, but I assume I didn't since my reservation didn't say as such. There was also no natural light in the room. While there was a window, it was covered in some kind of plastic film. The hallway was also completely dark. The bathroom and toilet were excellent, and so was the little bag of amenities offered. Bed was clean and comfortable. Good enough for a one night stay, but wouldn't come again!
