Hotels with WiFi in Okayama City

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station and surrounded by malls. Takashimaya and Aeon's large supermarket are nearby, with department stores on the upper floors of the supermarket. The 6th and 7th floors are full of restaurants, well worth exploring for a meal. The station itself also has a huge food hall, and on the B level, there are several large drugstores, making shopping very convenient. There's also a Lawson convenience store near the hotel, which is super handy. The hotel environment is quite good, generally quiet and tidy. There's even a large public bath on the top floor; after a tiring day of shopping, a soak there can really relieve fatigue, and there are self-service massage chairs next to it. The front desk staff were very friendly, warm, and polite. They even kindly helped us call a taxi to the airport, which we really appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance."

"The room felt a bit old and was quite small, making it difficult to open two large suitcases. The interior was simple and clean. Its location near the station made transportation very convenient, though it was also a bit pricey. It's super convenient for shopping and dining, with Tsutaya Books and Bic Camera right next door. There are also convenience stores, drugstores, department stores, and ramen restaurants—everything you need without having to carry things far. The service attitude was also excellent! 👍🏻"

"This hotel is genuinely great. There's a dedicated passage directly from the JR station to the hotel, so you don't even need an umbrella if it's raining. Dining is incredibly convenient too; there are all sorts of restaurants in the commercial area right downstairs, from ramen to coffee. Everything is perfect!"

"Clean, quiet (at least at 8th floor on weekdays) with many amenities available near the elevator and in the room. The cleaning team was very kind to tidy up our stuff better than how we left in the morning. The staff at the reception was very helpful as well."

"It is a short distance from the west exit of Okayama Station, but acceptable because the airport buses stop at the west exit and there is no need to get on and off. However, the soundproofing is really average, facing the station, there are freight trains passing through all night, mind you may have to think about another one in the east exit. More concerned is that the air conditioner is noisy, I do not know if there is regular maintenance for repairs, the dust filter is not washed, accumulated dust. Request to change rooms successfully, air conditioning sound problems improved, is the dust screen is the same, forget."

"Best location with excellent restaurants and bars all around. lawson just is across the street. Hotel has a tax free pharmacy/combi store attached. elevator parking is round the corner. Size of room is good, there are 2 pillows for each guest. one is a regular pillow and the other is a buckwheat hard one."

"The staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future. 3 Things to improve on: 1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street 2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway. 3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?"

"This hotel shares a building with JR station and GU, which is super convenient for travelers using public transport. Since I was driving, parking was a bit of a hassle as the parking lot isn't directly underneath the hotel, but in a separate garage next to it. The hygiene was up to standard, though the room was a bit small. The bed was right by the window, so whoever slept on the inner side would be bothered by the curtains. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the amenities were well-stocked. Parking cost 850 yen per day."

"The hotel's front desk staff had a good service attitude, and it's very close to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. However, during my stay, the air conditioning was under maintenance. Every time I manually turned on the heat, it would automatically shut off after about a minute, requiring me to manually restart it again. This led to me waking up cold in the morning. 😢"
