Breathtaking Infinity Pool: The infinity pool directly faces the iconic Irabu Bridge with incredible views! It would be absolute perfection on a clear, sunny day. 3. Rich & Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast selection was abundant, varied, and super delicious, providing a great start to every morning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Miyakojima! "The location is fantastic, very close to the airport, supermarket, and restaurants. You can easily get around by taxi or even walk. The room itself is huge, with four king-sized beds – I reckon it could comfortably sleep eight people! The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, so you can just pop over to the nearby Aeon for groceries and cook your own meals. There's also a really nice communal hot spring bath downstairs, which was a pleasant bonus."

"I enjoyed the natural beauty of Miyakojima and Shimojishima Island at Meer Hotel. It was easy to get there from Shimojishima Airport as bus number 9 stops right in front of the accommodation. I could also take bus number 9 to Painagama Beach and Maehama Beach. It was great to cook meals with my family at Meer Hotel, and the towels were changed regularly, which was a nice touch. They even lent us a Wi-Fi device, which was a huge help for our trip. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided lots of helpful information, making for a wonderful week. I'd love to visit Miyakojima again and this is definitely a hotel I'd return to. Thank you so much! P.S. If you go behind the accommodation at night, you can see the stars. There are many palm trees right next to the hotel, giving it a real tropical feel. Don Quijote, a local produce market, Aeon Drugstore, and Aeon (Maxvalu) supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, making it the perfect location for a trip."

"Great experience in Miyakojima! Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!). Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable. Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea. If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups."

"Transportation: Even without a car, getting around is convenient. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Miyako Airport with a clear schedule. For daily outings, I relied entirely on public transport; several bus lines stop right outside the hotel, connecting to areas like Shimojishima. Waiting times were acceptable, but buses aren't super frequent, so checking the schedule beforehand is advisable. Environment: It boasts a prime beachfront location. When the weather was good, the ocean's color was stunning, truly giving off vacation vibes. The resort grounds are generally quiet, not too crowded, making it perfect for guests looking to relax and avoid bustling crowds. Facilities: The room size was adequate. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Public areas are practical; both the pool and beach were quite clean, providing a consistently good experience. Service: The service leans towards professional and efficient rather than overly enthusiastic, but responses were prompt, and communication was smooth, which was reassuring overall. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered a good variety, with both Japanese and Western options, and the quality was consistent – perfectly fine for several consecutive days. Dinner maintained a steady standard, and the price was reasonable for a resort hotel. It's a great option when you don't feel like going out. Surroundings and Overall Impression: Miyako Island generally has a slow pace, and its beaches are high quality. Using this hotel as a base, you can cover some major areas simply by using public transportation. Overall, my stay was very satisfying; the strengths were prominent, and any minor drawbacks were acceptable. If I return to Miyako Island, I would consider staying here again."

"The hotel is located very close to Miyako Airport and doesn't have a view of the ocean, but it was an incredible price at 10,000 yen for three people with breakfast included. It felt like a very clean business hotel. It seems to cater to many long-term guests, as we were able to use the laundry room and microwave. The room also provided basic amenities like toothbrushes, body towels, and shampoo, but guests had to bring their own cotton balls and tea from the lobby on the first floor. There was no lotion or other amenities, so guests had to bring their own. There was no view of the ocean from the room, and there were neighboring buildings and plumbing, but it felt more like a single-person studio apartment. The room did have a kettle, mugs, and a refrigerator, but no glasses. Plates were available for rent at the front desk on the first floor. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and the Miyako soba noodles I had for breakfast were not too strong and were very delicious. All the hotel staff were also very kind, and the restaurant staff in particular kept a close eye on keeping the place clean and were very helpful with customer support, making breakfast a pleasant experience. Of course, everything was delicious. You could even see the sunrise from the hotel, which was beautiful. It's close to the airport, so if you arrive in Miyakojima late, this hotel might be a good choice if you're planning to stay overnight first."

"I booked a double room for my solo weekend trip. It was around 7000 yen, but for that price, it was incredibly clean and I was very satisfied. The only downsides were that the nearest convenience store is about a 5-minute walk away, and it's a bit far from the airport, so taxi fares can add up. It's also a bit of a distance to the southern tourist spots. However, if you have a rental car and are staying for a few days as a base for your travels, I think it's a great option."

"Perhaps because many divers stay here, each floor has a terrace where you can wash and dry your diving suits. Long fins can also be washed and dried here, which is convenient. Each room has a washing machine and refrigerator. The central location makes it convenient for going out for dinner at night."

"It's really close to the airport (about a 5-10 minute drive). Unfortunately, there's no airport shuttle. But you can ask the front desk to call a taxi. Although there are occasionally small insects in the room, but since it's outdoors, it's unavoidable, so it's tolerable. If you don't want to go out at night, you can go to a nearby FamilyMart (about a 10-minute drive) before check-in to buy snacks, cookies, beer, etc. You can also order pizza delivered to your room (It's not bad, but the crust is a bit soggy). The view from the window is truly beautiful; you can see the most beautiful sunset on Miyako Island. There's also a small swimming pool on the rooftop. There are two sinks, which is just right—no conflict when brushing your teeth or washing your face. There are cups in the room cabinets so you can bring up coffee from downstairs. There's also a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, selling souvenirs, snacks, clothes, etc. We didn't get breakfast included, but the convenience store downstairs sells rice balls 🍙."
