"The cleanliness was excellent, as expected from a new facility! It smelled good everywhere. However, the room had a faint body odor-like smell (spicy), which wasn't to my taste, but it wasn't overly unpleasant. As for amenities, there was no cleansing oil or toner, so women should definitely bring their own. I did receive a soap along with a hand cream as a gift. I didn't have time to try the recommended pool, so no comments there. The staff were all very nice! Honestly, though, I felt it was a bit overpriced. I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"The hotel has a simple design, with each room facing the harbor. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily, and the trash cans are large – great! There's a microwave and vending machine with ice on the third floor, and they also provide large paper cups for ice, which is wonderful. However, the refrigerator is tiny, only for refrigeration, not freezing. The lack of shelves in the shower is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is very good, with all the food being healthy; my favorite was the island tofu hot soup. There are many restaurants around the hotel. 200 meters ahead is a takeaway charcoal grill skewers shop; a box of four skewers costs an average of 600 NTD and is delicious. 350 meters behind is the nearest FamilyMart to the beach area. It's only a 10-minute drive to Don Quijote or AEON. For breakfast, you can go to the nearby rest stop (3 minutes drive) for noodles or seafood, and you can also buy souvenirs, bento boxes, bread, etc. – excellent amenities."

"The hotel boasts a very convenient location, situated on the busiest street lined with izakayas and shops, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel rooms are simply decorated, clean, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities. There are shower facilities next to the parking lot, providing toiletries and slippers for those who have just finished swimming at the beach."

"The hotel is located very close to Miyako Airport and doesn't have a view of the ocean, but it was an incredible price at 10,000 yen for three people with breakfast included. It felt like a very clean business hotel. It seems to cater to many long-term guests, as we were able to use the laundry room and microwave. The room also provided basic amenities like toothbrushes, body towels, and shampoo, but guests had to bring their own cotton balls and tea from the lobby on the first floor. There was no lotion or other amenities, so guests had to bring their own. There was no view of the ocean from the room, and there were neighboring buildings and plumbing, but it felt more like a single-person studio apartment. The room did have a kettle, mugs, and a refrigerator, but no glasses. Plates were available for rent at the front desk on the first floor. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and the Miyako soba noodles I had for breakfast were not too strong and were very delicious. All the hotel staff were also very kind, and the restaurant staff in particular kept a close eye on keeping the place clean and were very helpful with customer support, making breakfast a pleasant experience. Of course, everything was delicious. You could even see the sunrise from the hotel, which was beautiful. It's close to the airport, so if you arrive in Miyakojima late, this hotel might be a good choice if you're planning to stay overnight first."

"This newly built hotel is spacious with excellent facilities. It's very close to the airport, and you can easily walk to Don Quijote and MaxValu nearby. The reception offers complimentary use of a coffee machine and various amenities. They really have everything you need, almost to the point where you could arrive empty-handed – it was fantastic! I appreciated having a kitchen for cooking, and there's even a washing machine with a drying function. The sink area is very wide, and the separated bathroom has a bathtub and strong water pressure, which was a big plus. The only minor downside was that some areas weren't thoroughly cleaned, so it would be perfect if that could be improved. If I visit Miyakojima again, I'd definitely want to stay here."

"I was very pleased with the friendly service at check-in and check-out! It was close to the beach, so I could walk to snorkeling. While it wasn't a busy area, there were plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, so I had no issues during my stay. The room was in decent condition. There was a separate laundry room and I could pay via app, which was very convenient. I also liked that they provided free ice! I didn't go in the pool, but it looked fun with the exciting music and lights! Thanks to them, I had a great trip!!"

"It was my first time staying in a container hotel, but it was comfortable and great. I appreciated getting various snacks with the vouchers provided. It was non-smoking, so there was no cigarette smell. There was also a laundry room and vending machines (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) on-site, so I could go whenever I needed something. They also provided one bottle of water per day, which was helpful when making instant noodles or other drinks."

"Watermark was a perfect location for us on a couple’s getaway. Since we were flying into Shimojishima airport and rented a car, we found it to be a very convenient location—only a six minute drive away. Although we could see the runway in the distance, we hardly noticed the noise of air traffic. On top of that, we enjoyed that it was in a remote area and not in the middle of town (like Miyakojima) or in the midst of a major resort area (like Shigira). We didn’t mind exchanging more driving time for more serenity. I could go on about the location but if you are looking for a quiet place on the water, I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were always polite, which is expected in Japan, but there was also a kind of relaxed warmth that I haven’t always felt from staff in other Japanese hotels. The facilities also struck a perfect balance for us. Not garish, not too plain; just enough island flavor but not too much. I was refreshed every time I walked through the lobby. The breakfast buffet area was clean, fairly well organized and offered a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed our breakfast times daily. We used the laundry facilities and found the machines easy to use—glad to have had this option. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from both our room balcony and the rooftop pool. We loved our room. It was simple but had everything we we wanted, including a balcony. If you’ve ever seen a modern Japanese one room apartment, it feels much the same, without the gas range. It was perfect for our stay."

"My return flight was cancelled due to the typhoon, so I had to extend my stay. I quickly searched for hotels using several apps and found this hotel, which is relatively close to Miyako Airport and Don Quijote. I was also able to book it at a great price thanks to a first-time user coupon! Check-in is from 3 pm, but they let me into my room much earlier because of the typhoon! Parking is free and you can park wherever you like, and there's a FamilyMart next door. It's like an apartment building, so you can come and go as you please. To check out, you just put the key in the mailbox. The room was also clean and there were no problems. The only downside was that there was no laundry."
