"This hotel is perfectly located right by the sea, offering a fantastic environment. Transportation is also quite convenient, with a shuttle bus running between the hotel and Kawazu Station. The breakfast was just okay. If you plan to have dinner, it's definitely best to book in advance. We didn't make a reservation this time and ended up being turned away by both restaurants because they were full. There was nowhere else to eat nearby, so we had to resort to instant noodles."

"Isaribi, a small but exquisite hotel in Izu, boasts only 12 rooms. I stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The rooms offer captivating sea views and come with private hot springs. The dining experience was particularly impressive; both dinners and breakfasts were incredibly satisfying and surprising. Every dish reflected the chef's dedication, even the simplest miso soup was unforgettable due to the lobster-infused broth. The meticulous attention to ingredient selection and pairing was evident and truly touching. Next time I visit Izu, I will definitely choose Isaribi again."

"The hotel facilities are quite good; although it's an older hotel, it's clearly been recently renovated. The service was excellent. When we arrived at Izu-Atagawa Station, we hadn't arranged a pick-up with the hotel beforehand, but after a quick call, the front desk immediately sent a driver to get us. He arrived in about ten minutes, which was fantastic! I used the hotel's 11th-floor indoor hot spring and had it practically to myself every time; there was hardly anyone else there. The rooftop hot spring was noticeably more crowded, so I preferred the indoor one. We stayed in the annex, and as previous reviews mentioned, there are a few steps between the two buildings. This was a bit inconvenient for check-in and check-out when carrying luggage, but otherwise, it was fine. There's only one restaurant outside the hotel, but you can also order meals within the hotel, which is quite convenient. The scenery outside the hotel is also very beautiful. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family. 一灯庵で本当に素晴らしい滞在をさせていただきました。最初から最後までとても心温まる体験でした。 到着したとき、スタッフの皆さまは遠くから私たちに気づいてくださり、すぐに荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださいました。その心遣いにとても感動しました。特に英語がとても上手な可愛らしい女性スタッフの方がいらっしゃって、丁寧に対応してくださり安心して滞在することができました。残念ながらお名前を伺うのを忘れてしまいましたが、この場を借りて改めて感謝をお伝えしたいです。 夕食と朝食の両方をお願いしましたが、お料理はどれも本当に素晴らしかったです。食材はとても新鮮で、品数も多く、一つ一つ丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。すべて違う料理で楽しませていただきました。ただ、私たち二人（女性）には少し量が多く、とても贅沢なボリュームでした。 立地もとても良く、河津駅まで無料の送迎があるので河津桜を見に行くのにもとても便利でした。また、美しい海岸も近く、散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所でした。 お部屋の温泉では桜を眺めながらゆっくり入ることができ、とても特別な時間を過ごすことができました。また、無料で予約できる貸切風呂もあり、温泉を存分に楽しめました。さらにホットストーンスパも利用しましたが、マラソンを走った後の疲れが本当に和らぎ、とてもリラックスできました。 スタッフの皆さまの温かいおもてなしのおかげで、忘れられない滞在になりました。ぜひまた家族と一緒に訪れたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。"

"The room we stayed in was very big, a Western-style room with two mattresses and a massage chair. The hotel's open-air hot spring bath has a great view, facing the sea. The breakfast and dinner were very rich, and the staff also thoughtfully gave each of us a lunch box when we went out in the morning. I felt that the value of the room fee was reflected in the meals. The hotel will have a free shuttle bus at Izu Atagawa Station before 4 pm every day, every hour and 30 minutes, and every half hour, so you can easily get to the hotel if you calculate the time."

"The location is in Xiyizu, it may not be convenient to not charter a car, but if you charter a car, this hotel is full of price/performance ratio. First of all, the scenery is more like Yunnan, facing the sea, eating very well, breakfast can be eaten. The room is large and very suitable for playing cards and drinking. The private soup is also very good, there is no need to set a room with private soup, the service attitude is also very good"

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel in Atagawa. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully decorated, and the staff were very welcoming. The same young man handled both check-in and check-out, and we communicated fluently in English throughout. He provided detailed information, and since we hadn't booked dinner, he proactively recommended several nearby restaurants and local specialties. We even tried the nearby restaurants ”Nishiki” and ”Oboro.” He was especially considerate when we checked out, offering to drive us to the station – a very thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we also enjoyed the two outdoor onsen rooms on the third floor. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sound of the waves was truly relaxing. Staying in a sea-view room, sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and enjoying a beer was incredibly therapeutic. We booked a package with breakfast and dinner included, and dinner was excellent. After our meal, we went to the large public bath on the second floor for a hot spring soak. There's also a lounge on the sixth floor with complimentary snacks, drinks, and beer. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"
