"The experience was quite disappointing. The hotel receptionists were not helpful and friendly when we ask questions face to face and through phone call. The toilet is quite small. Surprisingly there is no room cleaning service if you stay less than 3 nights, not even clearing your trash bins. During our stay, we heard repeated announcements late in the night and they were all in Japanese. Only when we translated them by our phone we realised it was about the fire alarm. A lot of other hotel residents gathered in the lobby waiting for further instructions. We saw a staff sitting in the office but until the end of the day no one give any information nor explain anything. We ended up going back to our room after our own assessment."

"Location: A bit remote, so driving is recommended. Be aware that most restaurants nearby close before 6 PM, but there are still one or two good options within a 4-minute drive. It's right next to a beautiful beach, and you can book snorkeling/diving excursions there. Service and Environment: The staff were excellent and very friendly. We booked the Villa with Garden View - Non-Smoking, and the room had a lovely woody scent upon entry. However, be careful ⚠️ of insects. The environment is quiet and secluded, with only minor signs of wear and tear. Dining Service: We chose the package that included breakfast, but don't set your expectations too high for it. Overall, I would still recommend it."

"I stayed at the Toyoko Inn Okinawa Ishigaki Hotel. I felt great when I checked in and entered my room, as I could see the ocean. Also, the breakfast suited my taste, the coffee was unlimited, and the room was very clean. I would like to stay at this hotel on my next business trip. I highly recommend it."

"My stay was from late February to early March, and I was in room 5503. The first thing I noticed, and it's a major plus, is the fantastic location. It's incredibly convenient for island hopping, being right next to the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal. The bus terminal is also within walking distance, making airport access and getting around the city a breeze. Even as a first-timer to Ishigaki, I felt very comfortable getting around. Breakfast was served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at ”Toreador” on the first floor, a Japanese and Western-style buffet. I used it and was pleased to find a good selection of Okinawan dishes, like Goya Champuru and Okinawa Soba, really adding to the vacation feel. It was great that it opened early, allowing plenty of time to eat even before heading out to the islands. The breakfast ticket system was well-managed, and the instructions at check-in were clear, so there was no confusion. My room was generally clean and had a calm atmosphere. While the facilities weren't brand new, they were well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good rest after tiring days of sightseeing. Being on a higher floor was also a plus, as I wasn't bothered much by outside noise and enjoyed a peaceful stay. The staff were very polite and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Their explanations for sightseeing and hotel facilities were easy to understand, which was reassuring. I feel that this kind of attentive service significantly enhances the overall satisfaction of the stay. Overall, the hotel offers an excellent balance of location, convenience, price, and service. I'd particularly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the outlying islands. Even including the actual breakfast and use of the public bath, my satisfaction was high. It's a reliable base for an Ishigaki Island stay. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next visit to Ishigaki."

"Choosing Comfort Hotel was truly a delightful surprise. It was my first time visiting Ishigaki Island in Okinawa, and I picked this hotel based on reviews and its environment. I didn't expect the hotel to be so good overall, especially the rooms – they were spacious, clean, bright, and had windows that could be opened. The bathroom was also large, and the power outlets were conveniently placed, which was very thoughtful. There's a coastline nearby and a large supermarket. What's even better is the conveyor belt sushi restaurant just a hundred meters away, offering fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. There's also a Yaeyama Soba shop nearby with great food. "We have enjoyed our stay and it was because of a great job their staff are doing. Every crew, every shift. They all were perfect. They have helped us with every little thing, every issue we've had. They even showed us different rooms in case we are not satisfied with ours. We are sorry to bother you and grateful at the same time. Yes, the breakfast is excellent. Yes, they have welcome ice cream and welcome drinks. Yes, the location is very close to the port and city . Yes, they have plenty of amenities you might need. But the staff is why I recommend this hotel."

"As a guest house, the quality for the price was above expectations. It was very helpful to adjust what I wanted in advance. The bedroom is divided into men and women, and the shower, wash basin and toilet are shared. There was also a washing machine and dryer. I got the impression that there were many customers from overseas, and I saw how they were interacting. If you have a purpose and just stay, you can spend comfortably without any trouble! The only thing I was worried about was that the sheets were torn."

"On our family vacation to Ishigaki, we chose this hotel known for its 'amazing breakfast.' The location is super convenient – a direct bus from the airport to the 'Museum Mae' stop, no transfers needed. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but perfectly fine for two people. The breakfast truly lived up to its reputation! 🎉 They had specialty Ishigaki beef, Okinawan-style stew, and various fish. I even made my own seafood bowl and had some Yaeyama soba – it was incredibly satisfying! 😁 After such a filling breakfast, we didn't even need lunch, which meant more time to explore the sights, which was great! 👍 The only thing to note is that there was no room cleaning service during our stay; we had to put our trash bags outside the door ourselves each day."

"The hotel's location right near the shopping street is incredibly convenient – everything you need for dining, exploring, and shopping is within easy reach, and there are parking lots nearby. The hotel itself is very clean and odor-free, and the bathrooms are spotless. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; even with the language barrier, they were incredibly patient and used a translation device to communicate with us. If I ever get the chance to visit Ishigaki Island again, I'll definitely be staying here."

"The accommodation was surprisingly spacious and very clean. I really liked the wooden floor, and I think it was the best value-for-money place I've stayed at while traveling in Japan. The lounge on the 5th floor, though not large, was very nice, and since it got a lot of sun, I'd often go up there to sit when I had some free time instead of staying in my room. The location was also excellent. There were restaurants and markets all within walking distance, making it easy to get around. It was stated that cleaning would be done every 4 days, but fresh towels and trash bags were hung on the door daily. I could simply return used towels to the drop-off bin and tie up the trash to be promptly removed. I didn't experience any inconvenience, and I would definitely consider staying here again."
