"The experience was quite disappointing. The hotel receptionists were not helpful and friendly when we ask questions face to face and through phone call. The toilet is quite small. Surprisingly there is no room cleaning service if you stay less than 3 nights, not even clearing your trash bins. During our stay, we heard repeated announcements late in the night and they were all in Japanese. Only when we translated them by our phone we realised it was about the fire alarm. A lot of other hotel residents gathered in the lobby waiting for further instructions. We saw a staff sitting in the office but until the end of the day no one give any information nor explain anything. We ended up going back to our room after our own assessment."

"Location: A bit remote, so driving is recommended. Be aware that most restaurants nearby close before 6 PM, but there are still one or two good options within a 4-minute drive. It's right next to a beautiful beach, and you can book snorkeling/diving excursions there. Service and Environment: The staff were excellent and very friendly. We booked the Villa with Garden View - Non-Smoking, and the room had a lovely woody scent upon entry. However, be careful ⚠️ of insects. The environment is quiet and secluded, with only minor signs of wear and tear. Dining Service: We chose the package that included breakfast, but don't set your expectations too high for it. Overall, I would still recommend it."

"The only drawback was that it was a little far from the town center (I bought too many souvenirs on the outlying island), so I considered taking a taxi, but decided it wasn't worth it! I walked instead. But the bath afterwards felt wonderful. The breakfast, considering it was free, was excellent in both quantity and quality. I will definitely stay here again."

"My stay was from late February to early March, and I was in room 5503. The first thing I noticed, and it's a major plus, is the fantastic location. It's incredibly convenient for island hopping, being right next to the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal. The bus terminal is also within walking distance, making airport access and getting around the city a breeze. Even as a first-timer to Ishigaki, I felt very comfortable getting around. Breakfast was served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at ”Toreador” on the first floor, a Japanese and Western-style buffet. I used it and was pleased to find a good selection of Okinawan dishes, like Goya Champuru and Okinawa Soba, really adding to the vacation feel. It was great that it opened early, allowing plenty of time to eat even before heading out to the islands. The breakfast ticket system was well-managed, and the instructions at check-in were clear, so there was no confusion. My room was generally clean and had a calm atmosphere. While the facilities weren't brand new, they were well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good rest after tiring days of sightseeing. Being on a higher floor was also a plus, as I wasn't bothered much by outside noise and enjoyed a peaceful stay. The staff were very polite and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Their explanations for sightseeing and hotel facilities were easy to understand, which was reassuring. I feel that this kind of attentive service significantly enhances the overall satisfaction of the stay. Overall, the hotel offers an excellent balance of location, convenience, price, and service. I'd particularly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the outlying islands. Even including the actual breakfast and use of the public bath, my satisfaction was high. It's a reliable base for an Ishigaki Island stay. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next visit to Ishigaki."

"Facilities: Relatively new. Given that Ishigaki Island has an average annual humidity of nearly 80%, the air conditioning in public areas is kept on 24/7. It's also recommended to keep the AC on in your room and avoid opening windows, as there are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs. Cleanliness: Very clean, the level of cleanliness you'd expect from a business hotel. Nothing to complain about. Environment: Located next to the ANA InterContinental and very close to Maesato Beach. From the first-floor breakfast area and your room, you can enjoy the meticulously maintained lawns and trees of the neighboring InterContinental. Higher-floor rooms even offer sea views, which is lovely. There's plenty of parking available; you just park directly in front, then inform the front desk of your license plate number when checking in."

"I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. It's a 30-minute, 550 yen bus ride from Ishigaki Airport to the remote island ferry terminal via Kariyakan Bus. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the bus stop. The distance to Euglena Mall was about the same. The hotel staff were all very pleasant, and their service was excellent. I chose not to have my room cleaned during my multi-night stay, but amenities and towels were available for self-service in front of the elevators, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. For welcome drinks, there were ice cream, soft drinks, and 8 types of awamori. While the breakfast didn't have a huge variety, there were slight changes daily to keep things interesting for repeat guests, and it was delicious, so I recommend staying with breakfast included. This is a hotel I'd love to stay at again if I visit Ishigaki Island."

"As a guest house, the quality for the price was above expectations. It was very helpful to adjust what I wanted in advance. The bedroom is divided into men and women, and the shower, wash basin and toilet are shared. There was also a washing machine and dryer. I got the impression that there were many customers from overseas, and I saw how they were interacting. If you have a purpose and just stay, you can spend comfortably without any trouble! The only thing I was worried about was that the sheets were torn."

"Choosing this hotel for my trip to Ishigaki Island was a great decision. It's quiet, yet not too far from the city center, and the room was spacious enough for my needs. However, the 'mystery box' allocation meant I ended up in the hotel building, and using the drink bar or Awamori from the apartment building costs extra."

"I went on a trip to Ishigaki with my friends and their partners! Since we all love drinking, I really loved that we could have sake on the first floor, but... we couldn't drink much because we ended up going out to eat. When I asked, they told me we could bring our own snacks and eat them on the first floor! That was the best! Also, The location was so, so good that we met up nearby whenever we went on a tour, so it was within walking distance. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the stingray tour, and the port is only 4 minutes away for the night tour... just the best. There is a public market right in front, and there are so many great restaurants and bars, so we went around trying different places and had a really great trip! We rented a hybrid car, and since we only went to Kukule, the nearby Don Quijote, and the Monkey Village Observatory, we didn't even spend money on gas; the tank didn't drop at all! Since we stayed for two nights and didn't ask for extra towels, they gave us salt and merchandise only for our room! Hahaha. Actually, I stole some towels from my friends' couple, hehe. Anyway, I recommend it!"

"Facility was alright. The room was functional with all necessities available. There was even a small balcony as well but not really usable due to close proximity to the other buildings in the area. Good choices available for breakfast - but if you have stayed in the other breakfast hotel (i.e. the Porto) then you might be a bit disappointed with the choices available here (no sashimi). Yet the staff in the restaurant really goes the extra mile to serve you so that's a plus (you need to know a bit of Japanese tho) For those plans without breakfast they would provide you with a smoothie everyday as well so that's a good point. Distance is the main advantage of this hotel as it is located right inside the heart of the city centre, very easy to access all locations in the city centre and surrounded by izakayas and eateries. Limited Parking available tho so you might have to park in those paid car parks nearby (with that said those car parks are very popular as well...)"
