We paid the child's rate, but there were no amenities for the children and they had to sleep in the same bed as us, which was quite difficult with an older child. They cook it right in front of you early in the morning—you can watch it being prepared. Not only the Japanese set menu, but even the toast is truly top-notch. Grilled sea bream is always served as a side dish, and it's even better than at a regular restaurant. They also serve fantastic fried eggs, a uniquely Japanese half-moon shape—when you cut it open with a spoon, it's slightly soft-boiled and bursts with a burst of flavor. If you're visiting Imabari, be sure to stay here. Are there any guests? I wanted to eat breakfast and dinner - if you pay extra at the hotel, you don't have to go to an outside restaurant. You can have it served until 3 p.m. There are no seats available during meal times, lol. While there are a lot of people at the hotel, it's quiet. I really, really recommend this hotel. Oh, you can take the bus to Imabari Futo Station. I took the bus from Matsuyama to Imabari and back. The bus fare was 1,200 yen. ^^ The bus was really convenient and on time. It never arrived even a minute late."

"A sparkling new hotel with onsen and free flow welcome drinks (beer is limited to 1 per pax) but was still great. We stayed as a group of cyclist after completing the Shimanami kaido and the hotel was a great addition to end the ride. The onsen was heaven. The hotel is within minutes from the Station and bus stop, so definitely a plus. Eateries was just across the road with many options. Breakfast was simple but you can't beat it for the price."

"Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station. It is my second time there ."

"Although the location of the blunt river hot spring is slightly remote, the hot spring water quality is very good, moisturizing and tired, and it is very comfortable to soak. The boss and the proprietress of Meiheden and other service staff are kind and welcoming, the hospitality is thoughtful, and it is very heartwarming. The dinner is rich and the chef is attentive. It is a very authentic hot spring cuisine and we have a great time. The room also has a massage chair to eliminate the fatigue of travelers. It was full of Showa retro feeling, such as the cluttered corridors, wooden stairs railings, and tiled wash basins, but it was OK at all because it was a cheap night stay. The bath is also shared １ Every time two people enter, they lock it. The building is old, but the toilet was a washlet, and the hair dryer and pot in the room were new and clean. The walls are thin, but the guests around me seemed to be sensible, and I was able to spend quiet and comfortable at night. Imabari hand towels are also a nice service. Since it was an online reservation, I asked if I could issue a receipt, but I kindly asked him to issue it. The location is close to Imabari Port, but I walked about 10 minutes from Imabari Station in the shopping street."

"I thought this place was remote and difficult to reach by public transportation. For this reason, I took a small amount of money to take a taxi in and out, and I wanted to give a bad evaluation. "Hotel is not accessible unless you drive and that’s precisely why my friend and I chose this place: free car parking and cheaper rates(since it’s not close to any station). Hotel is as good as new."
