"Great place to relax after a bike tour. We visited both bathrooms, clean and nice with a view of the river. Access to the bathroom changes once a day. Very rich and delicious dinner. Marinated tomatoes are just super! It's a bit difficult to get to, but if you have a bike it's relatively easy along the blue lines on the road. I liked the breakfast less but it was also good. The room was on the first floor yoshino"

"I initially thought this place was too remote and difficult to reach by public transportation, so I took a taxi and spent a little money, which made me want to give it a bad review. But the moment I saw the hotel facilities and the scenery, everything else disappeared. On a clear day, the rooms and restaurant offer absolutely stunning views! The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. The food is superb; definitely choose a one-night stay with two or three meals a day. Every meal was incredibly filling, and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. The only downside is the lack of a natural hot spring; otherwise, I would definitely choose to stay here for three days straight."

"I booked this hotel for my two sons who are travelling together, after their cycle ride from Onomichi. This was what they said: Wonderful facilities and a great location for those who are cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The hosts were incredibly charming and helpful and even drove us to the nearby sushi restaurant (highly recommend) and organised a lift back. Highly recommended for those who are in the area. Thank you!"

Hotel Kikusui Imabari ★★★
"It's a little far from the station, but I chose it because it's close to Imabari Castle. I didn't use the large public bath, but they provide bath salts for relaxing in your room, which I think is great. This wasn't a trip where I could relax, so I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"I visited this capsule hotel on a solo trip and it's close to the station and has a hot spring! Even though it was reasonably priced, there were multiple types of hot springs and saunas, so it was great to be able to soothe the fatigue of my travels! After the hot spring, I relaxed in the open space and read my favorite manga, or had a massage in a massage chair. It was a very fulfilling experience and I would like to stay here again when I visit Imabari again!"

Super Hotel Imabari ★★★
"The hotel has a great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and the staff are very fluent in multiple languages, including providing room instructions in several languages – a thoughtful touch. Downstairs, there's a welcome bar table with a wide selection of drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and a microwave for light meals. It's a great place for groups to chat and enjoy drinks, fostering a pleasant and collaborative experience. The onsen (hot spring bath) is also very clean and comfortable, though a bit small. It might feel cramped with a large group, but the room TV displays the number of people allowed in the onsen, allowing you to schedule usage. Washing and drying facilities are provided, which are easy to use and convenient, perfect for washing clothes immediately after cycling."

"I made a reservation to visit Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island for my first shrine visit of the year. We arrived shortly after arriving on the island. The location offers beautiful views of the ocean and bridge, and the scenery is amazing! As it was New Year's, the closures of nearby restaurants were uncertain, but they kindly explained the situation to me and I tried to choose from available options and make a reservation, but some restaurants ended up closing temporarily, so I ended up eating at the hotel. I had heard that they offered hayashi rice and curry rice, so I chose the latter. The portion was moderate, but the meat was tender and delicious! There was a kind of super public bathhouse, and apparently they offered free tickets and even free shuttle service. We went there in our own car, which I thought was great hospitality considering the hotel only had showers. There was also a seawater bath, and it was popular with locals. Both the changing room and bath were spacious, so I didn't feel cramped. It was cloudy so I couldn't see the stars, but I could tell that I would have seen some beautiful stars. Breakfast was served on a single plate, and you could only choose your drink. The croissant was so delicious I wanted a refill lol. I couldn't finish my drink, so I asked if I could take it to my room, and they gladly agreed. Thank you. Maybe the bed was a little hard? My partner and I both ended up with back pain, so that's the only negative."

Cozy Hotel Nukui Shimanami ★★
"The hotel and staff were friendly and the hotel itself was good, but there are problems with the website that lists the hotel! First, the hotel name, "Kaji Hotel Nukui Shimanami," is incorrect. The correct name is "COZY Hotel Nukui Shimanami." It doesn't say that the rooms don't have a toilet, bath, or sink. I think it should be stated upfront if they're missing. The fact that amenities other than toothbrushes are extra is also not shown on the website, and I only found out at check-in. I might use the hotel again in the future, but I will not book through this website again. I've also deleted the app."
