"This hotel is very new, and it's only around 3 minutes walking distant away from the JR station. The lobby is very big with big windows and has many chairs for guest to sit and rest, there are also bike rack for you to lock the bike at the lobby. We were surprised to find out that there's welcome drinks and beer is also included. Our room was on one of the higher floor, so the view was beautiful. Breakfast was buffet style and was amazing, selection was great and delicious. Would definitely stay there again if we visit the area. The only downside is the staff doesn't understand English too well, but not too big of an issue when there's google translate."

"The hotel and staff were friendly and the hotel itself was good, but there are problems with the website that lists the hotel! First, the hotel name, "Kaji Hotel Nukui Shimanami," is incorrect. The correct name is "COZY Hotel Nukui Shimanami." It doesn't say that the rooms don't have a toilet, bath, or sink. I think it should be stated upfront if they're missing. The fact that amenities other than toothbrushes are extra is also not shown on the website, and I only found out at check-in. I might use the hotel again in the future, but I will not book through this website again. I've also deleted the app."

"All rooms are said to have ocean views, but room 305 doesn’t have an ocean view… The sea can be seen in the distance from the bathroom??? Is it because I used Trip to stay a little cheaper? I was very disappointed with the view that felt like a small room. The sauna glass is not clean, so the view from the sauna is not very good... Nevertheless, I was impressed by the staff's consideration and kindness and the way they did their best to give even 10 stars less. It was a very happy trip, especially thanks to the staff who said Nepal was their hometown."

"This was my second time staying here, the first being July 2024. Although it's on the opposite side of the island from Omishima BS at the foot of Tatara Bridge, I took the bus. It's just a short walk from the bus stop. Mare Gracia Omishima is nearby, where you can enjoy hot springs, and I like that Omishima Brewery is so close by. Oyamazumi Shrine is also within walking distance, and I was able to visit in the quiet, dignified morning air. There's also a laundry room and a kitchen, so I think it's ideal for long-term stays or cycling trips. The owners were very friendly, and I'd definitely like to stay here again when I visit Omishima."

"I would advise anyone who doesn't speak Japanese against staying there. I was greeted by a sneering staff who were completely unable to provide me with any information. After an hour and a half of haggling, when I finally saw the capsule where I was supposed to sleep, I asked if there was anywhere to get water or wash up, and they told me no. At that point, I decided to leave and book another hotel. I've been traveling in Japan for two weeks now, and it's going incredibly well. So I don't think the countless misunderstandings with the staff can be blamed on the language barrier."

"AVOID! It's soooo expensive and yet its the worst place I've stayed. Super rude staff refused to let me check in for hours! They insisted I didn't have a booking but I did and I showed them the booking confirmation but still they insisted I had no booking and that the hotel was full. The old couple didn't even look for my booking until they had kept me waiting for hours. Then they blamed me for everything! They were angry and rude to me and insisted it was my mistake. They even tried to kick me out. In the end they realised it was their mistake and were clearly super embarrassed about how they treated me but they wouldn't apologise."
