"Stayed here for a quick business trip and it was a great choice. The location is the biggest plus—it's directly connected to JR Hamamatsu Station, so getting to my meetings was super easy, even with luggage.
The room was quiet, clean, and had a decent desk to get some work done. Being in the tallest building in the city, the view from my room was a great bonus to unwind after a long day. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is a must for me.
The staff were efficient and professional, making check-in and check-out very smooth. If you’re coming to Hamamatsu for work, this is probably the most convenient place to stay."

"The location is incredibly convenient, with a Family Mart and a restaurant right downstairs, and the station just next door. Even for those driving, parking is available at a reasonable 1000 yen per day. The hotel rooms are also spacious, comfortable, and very clean. "I had a very satisfying stay. It was a bit of a walk from the station, but the location had a calm atmosphere. There were many restaurants on the south side, so I had no trouble finding something to eat. There were plenty of free services, such as happy hour and late-night snacks, as shown in the photo. The staff were also very polite, coming to greet me in the elevator and outside the entrance.
There were no amenities in the room, so I had to take some from the amenity space near the front desk. There was a wide selection, which was perfect."

"I was able to spend comfortably. However, when I entered the room after check-in, the suitcase of the previous guest remained at the entrance. I called and came to pick it up, but I quickly received the suitcase. It was not a very pleasant response."

"Chosen a non-smoking twin room. The room was spacious enough to open two big laugaue cases. Room are quite and beds are comfort. Shopping Malls and supermarket nearby. There is a carpark in the Hotel. If you don't drive, about 10 minutes walk to JR station or 600 yen of taxi fee or take al bus.
We liked the welcome drinks bar very much, 24 hours open and self-service. Imagine that drinking a glass of cold drink after a walk in a very hot day, satisfactory."

"It was close to the station and the hotel was clean and I had a comfortable stay.
The walls were thin and you could hear every conversation in the next room, so if you're sensitive about that, it might be best to avoid this hotel."

"The hotel had a great location, visible from the station. It is a very big hotel, but a bit old. The room was spacious and had all the basic necessities. I appreciated that it had a large bathtub as well. Unfortunately, I was there for a concert, so I didn’t spend much time exploring the facilities or interacting with the staff, but what little I did, I didn’t find anything lacking. For the first night, there was a complimentary water bottle, but on the second night there was not. Also, I would have appreciated the bathroom amenities to be restocked on the second day, although they did have additional amenities available in the lobby. I also liked that they had a Key Coffee drip coffee in the room (this was restocked the next day). All in all, it was a positive experience in a slightly retro hotel."

GGuest UserI loved this place - directly across the street from May One, Entetsu, Act City, and the station, the location was great, and the service and facilities were impeccable for the price. Breakfast was simple but filling and healthy, they have an on-site public bath (small, but nice), and nice lounges to hang out in, I just very much enjoyed my 2-night stay. I will stay here again. I met some local friends and told them that they should recommend it to friends/family who might visit.

The time I booked and the time I actually stayed were quite different, so I misjudged the distance between the hotel and the station.
It was much farther than I thought, and walking in the middle of summer was impossible. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so I took the bus.
The nearest convenience store is also located in the downtown area, so the area is quite unsafe.

First off, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, and I loved the dimly lit lounge area before entering both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Plus, the hotel boasts a pool with lake views! 👍 The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and as a vegetarian, I found plenty of delicious options. The Vegetarian Lasagna was particularly good! To top it off, the hotel lobby on the ground floor even offered complimentary drinks and snacks for three hours during certain periods – what a pleasant surprise!
More importantly, the hotel is located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone who enjoys morning runs, the lakeside trail was perfect for jogging. The serene and beautiful lake views in the morning, coupled with the fresh air, made it an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. 👍

GGuest UserIt's really close to the station and very convenient. There's also a convenience store nearby. They offer one free drink during happy hour, and they have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. They also have soft drinks. The amenity bar has some decent bath salts. There's a large public bath, which is small, but it was larger than it looked in the pictures. It was during the Obon period, but when I arrived at 7pm, there was no one there, so we had the place to ourselves. The room had a lovely combination of wallpaper and curtains. Breakfast was served in a bright venue with the morning sun streaming in, which was very pleasant. There was a wide variety of items to choose from. It's an exciting hotel with many rental items. The staff worked very hard.

LLincoln WoodRented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly.
Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.

Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm.
Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread.
Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy.
I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
