Great
GGuest UserThe place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath due to security reasons. Free wifi is very strong. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance from the shinkansen (head towards the direction of the bus interchange). There is a convenience store on the opposite road. One of the staff speaks good english and assisted us promptly. There is a welcome drink and able to get additional pillows from the counter. Will stay again
GGuest UserI stay here every year.
The hotel facilities are generally old and can be inconvenient, but the great location and gorgeous breakfast buffet keep me coming back.
One thing that was a bit disappointing this time, and not all of it, is that the quality of the staff seems to have gone down.
In particular, during the breakfast buffet, which I love, it was still far from over, and even though I wanted to enjoy my meal a little longer, the staff started to reduce the size of my food very quickly, and they were clearing away dishes so loudly that I thought they might break, and they were working just inches away from me while I was eating. It was a hectic, noisy breakfast buffet that made me feel a bit uneasy.
About 80% of the reason I stayed at this hotel was the breakfast buffet, so it was a shame.
目目的あり旅行I booked the hotel while traveling for a concert.
The time I booked and the time I actually stayed were quite different, so I misjudged the distance between the hotel and the station.
It was much farther than I thought, and walking in the middle of summer was impossible. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so I took the bus.
The nearest convenience store is also located in the downtown area, so the area is quite unsafe.
GGuest UserThe hotel was well-cleaned and I had a very comfortable stay.
The hotel breakfast was also delicious.
I especially liked the croissants.
I will definitely stay here again.
LlisawanAn exceptional hotel with superb value for money and an excellent stay experience! 👍
First off, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, and I loved the dimly lit lounge area before entering both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Plus, the hotel boasts a pool with lake views! 👍 The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and as a vegetarian, I found plenty of delicious options. The Vegetarian Lasagna was particularly good! To top it off, the hotel lobby on the ground floor even offered complimentary drinks and snacks for three hours during certain periods – what a pleasant surprise!
More importantly, the hotel is located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone who enjoys morning runs, the lakeside trail was perfect for jogging. The serene and beautiful lake views in the morning, coupled with the fresh air, made it an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. 👍
I definitely plan on staying here for a few days every year! 🌹🌹🌹 Thank you, Trip.com, for helping me discover this wonderful hotel!
GGuest UserWe had a lot of fun on this trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient. The room is very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is also very beautiful. Breakfast is eaten in the adjacent restaurant. It is 10 points comfortable and delicious. I appreciate it very much. The price-performance ratio is really good. My friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. Next time I come, I will definitely choose this hotel.
いいもたろうI had a very pleasant stay. I was upgraded to the room and told me in advance that I was free for breakfast, saying, ”I will stay for group guests.”
Also, I took a bath on the top floor twice at night and in the morning, but I had everything I needed, and it seemed that the timing was good, so I put it in a chartered state. It seems that the amenities such as shampoo are replaced by men and women, and this is the first time that a hotel has been so nice. I think that the woman's bath has an electronic lock, and this is also a point that can be relieved.
Breakfast is a set menu instead of a buffet, and I think it would be better to prepare for the number of people with less food loss, so I would have liked this.
When I asked for a transfer to Hamamatsu station in the morning, the driver asked me which one should be the north exit or the south exit, and sent me to the south exit near the Shinkansen ticket gate.
It may be difficult to have a large suitcase because it is a little far from the station, but I had a comfortable stay that exceeded that amount.
PPanyarak NgamsritragulLocation of hotel is very good, next to Bentenjima Garden. Can relax by the Lake which is part of the garden. But the hotel suggested parking in the car park of the garden which will be charged 410 yen each time your car exits the parking area. The hotel also offers the big bath and everyone will be charged 150 yen no matter you use the service or not. Breakfast is quite good.
Rooms and hotel environment are a bit old. Cleanness should be improved.
WWise SSpacious clean corner room and comfortable beds, nice and friendly staff, great lake view, good half board meals, excellent onsen, third time stay, will come back again for sure. The only netgetative thing is small bathroom.
GGargoyleumEverything was actually really good, but this hotel was so old it couldn’t feel comfortable or clean despite best efforts.
Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm.
Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread.
Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy.
I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
