"This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed at afterward. Maybe because of the extensive self-service, the front desk's role is more auxiliary, so strong English skills aren't as crucial. Like all other Toyoko Inns, this one had excellent facilities: water dispensers, ice machines, hot water dispensers, microwaves, coffee makers, vending machines – everything you could need. The breakfast was standard and featured Japanese specialties. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Shin-Fuji Station exit. If I had to pick a downside, the highly standardized management meant it lacked the 'personal touch' many people look for in a hotel. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, and the hotel only handles matters related to your stay; they won't help with local travel guides or transportation questions."

"Fuji, a city steeped in industrial history, feels a bit worn and aged, much like this hotel, reflecting its old industrial past. The front desk handed me the key to my room. The bathroom was tiny, but the service was good. I actually think this is one of the better hotels in Fuji. They even have an observation deck on the 4th floor of the south building with a distant view of Mount Fuji. It's also conveniently located near both Fuji Station and Shin-Fuji Station."

"Relatively new hotel. Located next to main highway, only problem with driving is having to make a long way along the highway to u turn, otherwise pleasant place to stay. Breakfast average. Onsen average."

"Among traditional Japanese-style accommodations, this is the best I’ve found. The owner is very friendly; he doesn’t speak English, but happily uses a translator and is always helpful. The house is old, which gives it real character, with all the small details of Japanese tradition and even a proper hot bath. A beautiful, authentic experience."

"I visit Fujicity for business twice a year, and this is always my go-to hotel. It's conveniently located near my workplace. There's a great restaurant right next door (where you can also enjoy drinks), a convenience store just around the corner, and even a ramen shop nearby. The only minor drawback is its distance from Shin-Fuji Station."

"This overall small and fine has both capsule warehouses and family rooms, mainly bathroom baths, appointment time 50 minutes per person, every time there is a clean, self-driving is very suitable, sitting jr is also convenient, new Fuji Station walks for 5 minutes. "The room was very clean, some rooms could see Mount Fuji, especially the hot springs. There is no supermarket around. It takes 10 minutes to walk. It is not particularly convenient. Breakfast is relatively simple, but enough to eat."

"The hotel is very close to Fuji Station, right outside the exit. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are larger than those in Tokyo. Overall, it's clean and offers good value for money. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; you have to walk a bit to find a 7-Eleven, but there's a small convenience store next to the ticket gate inside Fuji Station that can suffice. Although it's next to the station, it's relatively quiet at night, as JR Tokai doesn't have many late-night services. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji from the pedestrian bridge at the station. Fuji Station is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Minobu Line (terminus). Fuji City isn't a tourist city; it's an industrial one, so a one-day trip to hit the main spots is usually enough."
