We love the location of this Hotel. Easy to walk to the nearest shopping areas. Breakfast spread is good although this is within the fasting period. Only one small comment is the Bathing room is very slippery when showering. I slipped and fall while bathing, lucky that I didn't knock on to the glass panel or the wall. Suggest to have bathing mat at the showering point. Overall for my friends and I are very satisfy with the stay at Harper Hotel.

1. The hotel staff provided excellent and friendly service. 2. The hotel ambiance is luxurious. 3. The hotel also has a pleasant and refreshing scent. 4. The welcome drink was refreshing when I checked in during the day, and in the evening it was like ginger tea. 5. The room also met my request: clean, fragrant, tidy, with great facilities, and the AC was wonderfully cold. 6. The swimming pool and gym are also excellent. 7. Highly recommended as a choice, especially since as a resident of Gading Serpong, the hotel is within walking distance to Kopi Tuku, Gudeg Sagan, Tugu Jogja, and Malioboro. In short, this hotel is incredibly strategic, simply the best.

Nice hostel. Good location social for backpackers.  I had a great time upon check in but extending my stay a lady at reception was blunt and honestly quite rude and unhelpful when I asked for advice.  The beds are cleans and the showers only some are hot but the staff already know this.

My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. My stay at Hotel FortunaGrande Malioboro Yogyakarta by FOSIA was one of the highlights of my trip to Yogyakarta. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its strategic location. It is within walking distance of Malioboro Street, Malioboro Mall, local restaurants, souvenir shops, and Yogyakarta Train Station, making it extremely convenient for tourists who want to explore the city without relying heavily on transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh every day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing despite being located in one of the busiest areas of Yogyakarta. One of my favorite facilities was the rooftop area and swimming pool. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of the city, especially during sunset. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The hotel also provides a restaurant, spa services, and friendly common areas that make the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of Indonesian and international dishes. Everything was fresh and regularly replenished. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations about local attractions and transportation. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money thanks to its prime location, comfortable rooms, great facilities, and warm hospitality. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Yogyakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient stay near Malioboro. Because it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

The room was clean and the facilities were okay. It's close to Malioboro. However, there was no water heater kettle, and the TV wasn't working. These things should be checked before guests arrive. As for the swimming pool, I wouldn't recommend it; the water had too much chlorine, which made it very uncomfortable to swim in.

Highly recommend staying here for your last day, as it's just a short walk to Malioboro and Tugu Station. It's incredibly economical to stay here and get everything you need: a nice hotel, shopping within walking distance, and then just a walk to the station for your flight home the next day.

Dont understand who gave good reviews for this homestay, maybe they stayed for the right price sufficient for this small house. Not worth more than 80K. I prefer to not review if not for few unprofessional issues. While booking this place, the price changed more than a few times from rupiah 120 to 250k. I never seen like this happen online bookings. So, i did not book. Many hours later the priice was down at 120k again. So, i booked. Then, the owner sends twice long annoying emails and a shorter whatsapp message (attached herewith) asking for pre-arrival info, a very professional wriiten corporate style. I ignored since those just did not look right. Upon reaching the place - not a corporate guest house but a crampy old home, the owner came out slowly and then just talks to my wife completely ignoring me. He kept chatting. Not a likeable elder, a little tricky i felt.. The room was very small with a type of bed that is just good for a few hours sleep. No water bottles, tissues or new soap. Poor room lighting matched the purpose. In the night one someone plays the TV so loud right next to the room for a long time until i requested him to lower volume. Almost midnight a few guests were tslking so loud right there for a long time knowing we were sleeping. We left early the next day.
