Only surprise was I had to pay again at the front desk even though I already did online upon booking. Yet to be resolved by Trip.com customer service side. "The room was a bit small, and the cleanliness was okay, but there were some marks on the sheets. They might have been clean marks, but it still bothered me a bit. I requested a room near the elevator, and it was literally right next to it, haha! The hotel is actually quite small, so everything is close by anyway. The service was excellent. My English isn't great, but the front desk lady and guy were both incredibly patient. The lady even used a translation app to tell me what she wanted to say. In the afternoon, I wanted to visit the museum, but my room wasn't ready yet. The lady proactively offered to store my luggage so I could go to the museum first and check in later. When I did check in, she also helped me with my luggage. Their attitude was very friendly throughout. The guy at the restaurant was also super friendly; he recommended the hot chocolate, which was indeed delicious and one of the few things I can praise about an English breakfast. He also noticed I was Chinese and proactively said ”Nihao” and ”Xie Xie,” which was very kind."

"1. The hotel lobby and public areas are converted from an old building, while the rooms are located in a new building at the back. The two buildings are connected, and the renovation has a lot of character, but getting from the lobby to the room by elevator is a bit roundabout. 2. The hotel breakfast is quite rich, and the quality is good. The staff's attitude is also very pleasant. 3. When I booked the room, I requested a quiet room away from the elevator. The front desk gave us a room at the end of the hall... The room size was decent, but the air conditioning wasn't heating up. The wind in Granada is strong, and the weather was very cold. It's hard to imagine how it feels to return to an icy cold room at night... We checked the hotel's past reviews on Trip.com and found similar comments from other guests, so we have reason to suspect the hotel treats Chinese tourists differently. 4. We called the front desk to request a room change, but they said there were no rooms available that day and offered to send someone to check the air conditioning. We waited for a long time, but no one came, so we contacted Trip.com customer service for help. Trip.com was very proactive in negotiating with the hotel for us. We insisted on changing rooms, but since it was Valentine's Day, the hotel genuinely had no vacant rooms, so they could only provide us with a heater. In the end, we decided to make do for one night and change rooms the next day. 5. The next day, we packed our luggage, and when we returned in the evening, the hotel had changed our room. The new room was larger than the original, and the air conditioning was warm. Throughout the entire process, Trip.com actively communicated and tracked the room change, helping Chinese nationals abroad resolve their issues. I'd like to give a thumbs up to Trip.com customer service! 👍"

"Overall the hotel meets the standard 3-star. The major issue is the noise: the walls are very thin and the noise from the neighbours and the corridor can be disturbing. There is some noise coming from the radiator in the middle of the night too. Hotel staff are nice and efficient."

"We only stayed briefly, but YOTEL Glasgow left a great impression. The location is unbeatable—right next to Central Station, perfect for travellers. We were lucky to receive an upgraded room, which was nice and spacious. It was also remarkably quiet for such a central spot. While the room showed a few signs of wear in places, the overall comfort and convenience more than made up for it. Recommended for a short stopover."
