If you bring a large suitcase, you need to carry up and down the stairs, such passengers are not recommended. Others are not bad."

GGuest UserThe hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning.
The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings.
All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly.
Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable.
Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean.
Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day.
Will definitely return to this hotel.

BBertrand PetitpasWe only spent one night in the triple room with friends, but it was great. The welcome was very good and we slept wonderfully. The only real snag was our friend snoring, but that's not the hotel's fault! Maybe we should choose our friends more carefully next time. All in all, I recommend this hotel in Glasgow; its central location greatly facilitated our stay in the city, especially since we were just passing through.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to SEC and right next to Exhibition Station, making it super convenient to take the train to Edinburgh and Ayr. The breakfast selection is great, with a good variety of vegetables and fruits (which is rare to find), many types of coffee, delicious juices, and a wide assortment of bread. The room was cleaned daily and kept very neat and tidy. You can even see the University of Glasgow right outside the window.

RRRosssWe stayed at Sandman for its proximity to Hydro for a concert. In that regard the location was good, an easy 20 minute walk. Glasgow is super hilly so be aware if you’re walking anywhere. The hotel was very good, excellent breakfast, superb nice staff. Clean rooms, fit my family of 4 well enough!

GGuest UserBasic hotel but in an ideal location short walk to Sauchihall Street, great restaurants close by. Antipasti if you like Italian. Sichuan house, brilliant Chinese restaurant.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Free WiFi also a free drink from the bar. We didn't have breakfast we went out to eat but there is breakfast for an extra £12 per day if you prefer.

GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful, the room was spacious, and the lake view room offered a fantastic panorama, directly facing the BBC building. It's also just a 20-minute walk to the University of Glasgow. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Glasgow.

ZZidane 齐达内Doubletree by Hilton is quite a good stay in Glasgow, it’s only a few minutes walk from either of the train stations or coach station, and the entire aesthetic of the hotel is nice.
Amenities were a bit lacking tho, no slippers, or toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. I asked for cotton buds at one point but never received them.
Besides that tho, would recommend! The gym and swimming pool are nice too, and breakfast buffet is also a big plus!

MMinimeet2233Great location, super close to city centre and very convenient. Staff members are always helpful and super friendly. On my final night there was a storm in Scotland and staff was super helpful with trying to see if they can book me for one extra night just in case if trains don’t run the next day :) really happy with the service. Breakfast has good selection!
Room is okay, the AC seemed a bit old and broken but still works, temperature in the room is fine!

GGuest UserSpotlessly clean with everything provided for a comfortable stay. A bit away from the centre which meant it was quiet but quite a walk to the centre. Would certainly stay again. Breakfast Saturday was really good, piping hot with plenty of choice. Sunday morning Breakfast was nearly cold and bacon and sausage dry and over cooked. Same time so no excuse. We did let them know at the time

AAnonymous UserThis is the second hostel I've stayed at, and for a hostel, the conditions are quite good. There was singing at night, but I was so tired from sightseeing during the day that I still slept well. The hostel is in the city center, which makes shopping very convenient. There's also an elevator, which is helpful for getting luggage up and down.
