"Most of all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We emailed ahead to ask if we were able to leave our bags in a safe place as we were arriving on the morning of a wedding and before official check in. The team replied within the hour. We were able to borrow a phone charger as well. Our room was clean and tidy. The overall energy of the hotel was calm and quiet during our stay. The location was fairly central as well, it seemed. We enjoyed our stay!"

"High hopes but very disappointing stay. On initial check in , the young lady was very helpful and took our bags as we were too early to check in.  When we returned several hours later to complete check in, the receptionist did not look at us at all when talking to us, which made it difficult to understand or hear what she was saying. We were then told that we had to pay £100 deposit- which we were not advised of prior to booking.  Her general attitude was surly and we felt an inconvenience. We went to use the spa, and were greeted by an equally miserable lady who also made us feel like an inconvenience.  The spa area was very  wet and slippery and felt unloved. The changing area looked tired and needed a Good clean.  Breakfast - on our first day we were greeted by a lovely chap called Kian, which felt like a welcomed change to the rest of our encounters with staff. The general the experience was a shambles. Lots of food had run out. We requested an omelette from the chef and were told No. There were no veggie sausages available. Coffee machine kept running out and only gave half a cup full. The food did not appear to be of good quality and was often dry from sitting under the lights and was not hot. There were very few staff around and there was too much for them to deal with Our room was fine, the view over looked another building but you could see the sea in the distance  Our twin beds were creaky and noisy  The shower over the bath was pretty useless and kept slipping in the holder  There was not enough tea/ coffee for us both to have the same drink and there was only one pack of  complimentary biscuits , which were cheap custard creams. We requested some decaf tea at reception and were given one each.  All in all, the hotel is situated in a good location but we wouldn’t rush back. We hoped it would be a treat but you can get better service at the premier inn or Hampton,so it doesn’t warrant paying more for."

"Big room and accessible bathroom there is a very retro lovely charm here which is like of timeless but not in a bad way . The Internet was very good as were the facilities in the room . The only thing I would say was the bar soft drink was relatively expensive but it was just that you tasteless like it had been watered down too much"

"We love our stay here. Just 10 mins to the beach. Hotel is clean and equipped with all you needs. We love the shampoo it smells so good! Definitely will stay again ."

"I recently stayed at The Bath Hotel Beaumont from 25th to 26th April, where we had booked two standard rooms with windows. Unfortunately, the experience was quite inconsistent. One of the rooms was very good, clean, and comfortable. However, the second room was extremely disappointing and in poor condition. It was significantly below expectations, especially considering both rooms were booked under the same category. I would strongly advise avoiding the smaller standard rooms, as the quality seems to vary greatly. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The spa and swimming pool facilities are also good; however, it should be clearly noted that these come at an additional cost per person, which is not communicated transparently at the time of booking. Parking is available but costs around £25 per day. Unfortunately, the service associated with this was very poor. Our car was parked under a tree and was left covered in bird droppings. When we raised this concern, the staff were unhelpful and stated they did not have the manpower to clean it. Instead, we were given cleaning supplies and expected to clean the car ourselves, which is highly unprofessional given the price charged. Additionally, the valet service was unreliable. On multiple occasions, we had to wait 15–20 minutes for our car, and twice we ended up retrieving it ourselves after being told to wait. This defeats the purpose of a paid valet service. The staff, particularly at reception, came across as rude and unprofessional, especially when handling complaints. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of basic service, including room service or an efficient call service, was surprising. Overall, while the location and some facilities are good, the inconsistency in room quality and poor customer service significantly impacted our stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made."

"Overall, a very good stay. The location is excellent and the room was very clean and well maintained. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that, but everything else met my expectations."

"Booked this hotel as I stayed before in some Ibis hotels. When came to check in the person from reception asked us to wait until he checks the room.( it was around 4pm)? I assume room was meant to be checked before. Took him about 10 minutes or so. Took the keys room was nice, comfy, minimalistic If i can say so.(i would have a mini fridge). In about 20 minutes while we weregeting ready to go out AC stared to lick quite badly. When went downstairs told the same person at the reception he only nodded ( I mentioned as its for the interest of the hotel as everything is geting wet, floor, wall). After we came back, enetered the room was quite hot as the AC was off. Couldn't turn on, tried to contact reception through the WhatsApp number that is offered in the room ( saying phones are such a 1980's), no one answered after about half an hour tried to call the same number, again no answer. Tried to call the hotel, went through the AI. Went downstairs in the end to ask how to turn on the AC. Person at the reception said it is off from them and he can turn it on for me, which he did. After about 1 hour i had to go downstairs back to ask to turn it off as the water dripping was getting on my nerves and the AC could not be turned down either from the room. At least I was given a fan that helped to solve the issue, and I was told to complain in the morning if I need. Another thing I want to mention is that therr is no ice in the hotel, as when i went downstairs and asked for it been told they dont have any, neither fridge is available in the room. So my fathers treat away was unfortunately ruined by the hospitality of the hotel. At least weather was good."

"Nice quiet getaway to Bournemouth, stayed in a lovely little Spa hotel with a heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi, perfect weather to enjoy the beach which is only a 5 mins walk away from the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, continental plus ordered hot food and got a very tasty English brekkie to start the day, very enjoyable and would stay again"

"Room on first look wasn’t as well maintained with markings on the wall. Tea, coffee and biscuit were provided but some packaging were already opened (wasn’t sure if this was an oversight but I did not need any of the items so did not matter to me) . Bed was however comfortable and toilet shower pressure was good. Location of hotel is a short walk to the beach which was convenient. Did not try the breakfast but it looked really good."

"We had a three-night stay and overall enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, although a bit small. There was only a kettle provided for tea, but considering the price, it offered good value for money. The location is excellent — very close to the beach, with a short pathway directly in front of the hotel that takes less than five minutes to reach the shore. It’s also within walking distance to the town and there’s a beautiful park just across the pier, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good, though it was the same each day. We stayed in a family room that was very clean and tidy, but it lacked space for seating — there was only one chair, which was a little inconvenient for us as a family. Apart from that, we were happy with our stay. The location and cleanliness made it a pleasant experience, and we would consider returning in the future."
