"Exceeded expectations! The location is superb, with plenty of options for sightseeing, taxis, and dining nearby. If you enjoy nightlife, it's also easy to get a taxi to Zamalek. Throughout Cairo, getting a taxi around Tahrir Square was the most convenient, and all rides were based on metered fares. In more remote areas, drivers often cancel orders and demand flat rates, but you won't encounter that in the city center here. The room was exceptionally spacious, the staff were friendly, and the buffet was so delicious we didn't want to leave. Remember to bring an EU plug adapter!"

Get the celebrity treatment with world-class service at Saint J Hotel by Brassbell     Elegant Accommodation: Saint J Hotel by Brassbell in Cairo offers a 5-star experience with a terrace and free WiFi. Guests enjoy air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and city views. Comfortable Amenities: The hotel features a lift, 24-hour front desk, concierge service, full-day security, and express check-in and check-out. Additional amenities include a minibar, microwave, and sofa bed. Prime Location: Located 13 minutes from Tahrir Square and 1.3 km from The Egyptian Museum, the hotel is near attractions such as Al-Azhar Mosque (2.2 km) and Cairo Tower (2.8 km). Cairo International Airport is 16 km away.

"This is not my first time staying at a Brassbell hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The studio apartment feels like a complete home – a truly wonderful option! The room is clean, pleasant, and literally has everything you could need: a large bed that provided a great night's sleep; clean, new bed linen and towels; slippers; a kettle; and a full set of dishes (not just mugs with saucers and spoons, but a complete collection – plates, forks, a set of knives, wine glasses, regular glasses, a frying pan, pots, and even a Cezve for coffee – amazing!). Additionally, there are separate packets of tea, coffee, and creamer; bottled water (only upon check-in, no refills); a hairdryer; an iron; a full-sized wardrobe; a small table and two armchairs; a TV; air conditioning; a sink for washing dishes with a filter tap; a stove for cooking; and a washing machine – I used it, and it works perfectly! There's even laundry detergent in a special packet and box. Before coming to Egypt, I stayed in a premium-level studio apartment in El Alamein, but even there, they didn't provide laundry detergent or a full set of dishes. This hotel, however, has it all. Thank you! Here's a tip: if you need to dry clothes, after washing them, hang them on hangers, then hang the hangers on the upper metal rail of the shower corner – voilà, everything dries perfectly :) Hot water with good pressure is consistently available. The shower includes shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The staff are friendly, and you can store your luggage after checking out. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops near the hotel, and Tahrir Square and the old museum are within walking distance. There's nothing negative to mention, as this accommodation option is simply fantastic for Egypt! Especially for the price. Given the room's amenities, it feels like a 5-star hotel. Perhaps the only minor suggestion would be to add towel hooks. The staff are polite and pleasant; they helped me with calling a taxi (for some reason, taxis have trouble pulling up directly to the hotel entrance, so they need directions). Huge thanks for the magnificent living conditions! If I return to Cairo, I'll definitely stay here again. I wish the hotel prosperity, well-being, and decent, grateful guests!"

The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay, and the soundproofing made the room quiet despite being in the city center. I also appreciated the complimentary tea, kettle, and bottled water provided in the room. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food every morning, and the sauna was a great place to relax after a busy day. The hotel also helped arrange airport transportation, which made my trip much easier. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo."

Their service is truly amazing — attentive, considerate and full of genuine kindness all day long. Every single one of our requests was dealt with efficiently and perfectly, and they all went out of their way to make our stay relaxed and worry-free. We were so impressed by their professionalism and heartfelt care; this outstanding hospitality is unforgettable. Special thanks go to our lovely reception team Mayar and Essra, Lamiaa from Guest Relations, as well as Mena and Gehad from the restaurant. They were all polite, patient and always ready to help with anything we needed throughout our trip. I also want to give a separate sincere compliment to Mohamed Marzouk Belman. He was incredibly helpful when our travel plans suddenly changed. He patiently listened to our issue about checking out early at 6 p.m. and tried his best to figure out a flexible solution for our room booking. His thoughtful support saved us a lot of trouble, and we really appreciate his kindness and dedication. This gorgeous team and amazing service have made our time in Egypt wonderful. "Hi everyone! I stayed at this hotel from March 19-23, 2026. My room was 411. The location is great. The Zamalek area is a super beautiful place! The Nile is wonderful. I really enjoyed it. The hotel's overall condition is good, even though it's only a 3-star. The hotel staff and personnel are very pleasant people. The room and bathroom were both fine, but the view from the window was bad 🤦‍♀️. The food in the restaurant was good quality. I have no complaints. I recommend this hotel. I used the laundry service, and it was fine, no complaints. Thank you very much! 🙌🏻🙏🏻"

"The environment is decent, and the lobby service is okay. There was a security guard with a gun, and everyone's service attitude was very enthusiastic. Breakfast was very average, everything was sickly sweet, and there was no meat dish, just a very unappetizing sausage slice. The hotel is located about 30 meters down a small street next to a green park. I'd say the location is just so-so. There are often young hoodlum-like people in that park, and there are many shops next to this green park: McDonald's, Orange, a convenience store, banks, clothing stores, etc. The bed in the room was huge, the carpet was a bit dirty, and the facilities looked rather old. The housekeeping staff had a great attitude. To get into the room, you had to insert the key card and immediately pull it out. The quality of the card or the card reader was quite poor; I was stuck outside the door several times and had to call housekeeping to let me in. Then, one day, this broken card stopped working twice in a single day, forcing me to go to the lobby twice to get new ones!!! I tipped the cleaning staff 50 EGP, and they did an excellent job! They also fulfilled my request for extra water bottles!!! However, one day, I only had one towel in my room??? I have no idea what happened!!"

"The location is at city center nearby to Egyptian Museum. Plenty of amenities within 10 minutes walk. The famed Koshary Abu Tarek is within 6 minutes walk. The rooms are well maintained. There is a staff at the reception 24/7. Guests of all ages and nationalities can be accomodated. Suggestion for improvement: 1. The towels to be issued upon check-in and not upon request. 2. The lift need to be upgraded as I was ever caught inside when there is a power trip. And often the lift did not operate because the lift door was not closed properly. Understand that the lift is not manage by your hostel. Please request for it from the building owner as it is not acceptable. 3. Consider centralized air condition system. Anyone can turn off the air conditioner affecting others."

This Marriott hotel is located in Cairo Airport's Terminal 3, which is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk from the hotel to the airport via a dedicated elevator and skywalk. If you are looking for a seamless, high-quality stay near Cairo International Airport, Le Passage is an exceptional choice. My recent experience here was excellent from start to finish, offering the perfect blend of convenience and luxury. Highlights of the Stay • Prime Location: You couldn’t ask for a better spot for layovers or early morning flights. The complimentary airport shuttle is prompt, reliable, and takes the stress out of navigating Cairo’s busy traffic. • Rooms & Comfort: The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and well-soundproofed. Despite being so close to the runways, the atmosphere inside is quiet and relaxing—perfect for catching up on sleep. • Amenities: The pool area is a beautiful oasis, providing a great space to unwind. For those interested in evening entertainment, the on-site ****** and various dining options offer plenty of variety without needing to leave the grounds. • Service: The staff are the true stars of this hotel. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive restaurant service, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The Verdict Whether you are in Cairo for business or just passing through, Le Passage provides a high standard of hospitality that makes it feel like more than just an ”airport hotel.” It is a top-tier destination in its own right. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking comfort and efficiency in Heliopolis.

We stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

The hotel is very conveniently located near airport, making it a best choice for travelers who are on short visit to or transit via Cairo. The facilities are outstanding with a well maintained swimming pool, nice restaurants, souvenir shops and with nice & attentive staffs. The check in was made a little earlier and smoother via online check-in. The room is clean, well maintained and spacious for the price range. The hotel offers free shuttle service to all the departure terminals (once in 30 minutes for 24 hours) and the complimentary buffer breakfast was awesome with a wide spread of menu items.

The staff of this hotel was not good, At about 8 PM in the evening, the hotel front desk staff called the room and said that the hotel we booked only allows one person to stay.
