Hotels with WiFi in Bochum

This hotel is super convenient, located right next to Westfield and easily accessible from the highway. I saw on Trip.com that parking was €10 a night, but it turns out there's a huge free parking lot right outside the hotel – why would anyone pay then? The hotel facilities are great, the rooms are spacious, and the surroundings are lovely. The breakfast, especially, was the best and most extensive we've had on our entire European trip. It's a large hotel with many floors, and there was even a Chinese staff member who helped guide us to our room. The only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning; it was quite hot in mid to late June, and not having AC made it a bit tough.

The room's interior was modern and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and the bathroom was clean and easy to use. While parking reservations aren't possible, it's available for €12 per day if space is available, which I think is a reasonable price. Breakfast was a bit disappointing because the food was cold, but overall, the variety and quality were standard and satisfactory.

Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich. Ein Frühstück kann man nicht im voraus buchen aber vor Ort. Es ist nicht besonders ausgefallen aber sehr preisgünstig. Das Hotel liegt in einer schönen und ruhigen Umgebung in der Nähe der Bochumer Universität. Nur den Eingang findet man schwer. Parken ist einfach, 200 m entfernt hält die U-Bahn. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Das Zimmer war groß und preislich Spitze.

Booked for 3 nights to attend a Rammstein concert in nearby Gelsenkirchen. A little out of the way (11km from Gelsenkirchen itself) but a really laid back atmosphere. As my German is very rusty, I was grateful to see that several members of reception spoke English. Although their website states they have a restaurant, it appears that it’s only a continental breakfast and no lunches or dinners available. Anyone who has travelled to Germany, knows that a Sunday basically means hardly anywhere is open. As a disabled traveller, walking into the local area was out of the question, so had to scramble to check food delivery apps to see who would actually be able to deliver. This was frustrating to those who don’t drive in European countries or have the ability to walk very far. However, the staff were very helpful and did try to assist where and whenever possible. Should I return to this beautiful area of Germany, I would still wish to stay here, just knowing that you can breakfast here and eat out or have takeout delivered for lunch and dinner.
