"The place is very worth visiting. The room is good equipped, everything is like on the photo. The host and stuff is very friendly by helping with luggage but the international tourists should be aware that the communication with host is available only be telephone in Chinese. It is necessary even for check-in and check-out. It can be not so easy. We were expected to get a little bit more information but you can get help only if you approach the host directly. It is easier to arrive because there are a lot of cars on the station in Xinjie, but it is more complicated to get back to the station. But it is possible to catch a car directly on the road for 30-40 yuan pro person. There are only few restaurants in the walking distance. A lot depends on the weather, without good weather the view is sadly very limited. Before arriving is recommended to take a look in the weather forecast!!"

"The interior facilities of the house and the view of the rice terraces were excellent. The only downside was that the village planning was a bit messy, and the neighboring building, still under construction, was very close to the guesthouse, which was a bit disappointing in terms of its unfinished look and design flaws. However, once we entered the room, it was a pleasant surprise! The dining hall also offered an unobstructed view of the canola flowers and rice terraces. The guesthouse owners' son and a few relatives were very quick in helping with luggage. The owners themselves were very friendly. In the evenings, we could even play bridge or poker in the lounge. The two little dogs, Xiaobai and her son, were adorable and playfully mingled with us during breakfast, adding to the fun. The complimentary coffee was delicious. All in all, it's truly remarkable to find such a modern and clean guesthouse in a remote village like Yuanyang County. We hope the young couple running the guesthouse continues to standardize their services, especially regarding the cleanliness and handover procedures at the front desk, and keeps improving."

"The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a small terraced field. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the room wasn't damp at all and felt warm. For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western styles; I went with the Chinese rice noodles, which tasted great. The service was excellent too. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom. You couldn't smell it in the room when the glass door was closed, but it was quite strong when opened. Hopefully, they can look into that."

"If you're visiting Yuanyang for the rice terraces and have plenty of time, I highly recommend staying at Azheke Original Homestay, right within the terraces. We were there for two days, and each morning was incredibly foggy. Waking up felt like being in a celestial wonderland amongst the clouds. The food here is also exceptionally delicious 😋 – fresh ingredients, unique cooking, and great value for money. The butler service is excellent too; they contact you a few days beforehand to confirm details. From Duoyishu Aizhepu, you can see the colorful terraces from above. The hotel's panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the lower colorful terraces. Since the hotel is located within an ancient village, there's about a 5-minute walk from the car park to the hotel. We packed our luggage into soft bags beforehand for our two-day stay, and the Hani sisters from the hotel were there to help carry them."

"The hotel is newly opened, on the top of the mountain, very beautiful, the design is very artistic, you can see that the boss has taken care of it! The things used in the room are very textured, and it is also equipped with a washing machine. The smart toilet is very convenient to lift the lid. The bath is particularly comfortable. The water is very soft and the temperature is just right. The water flow is large but it does not hurt on the body. The scenery is very beautiful. I have set a house with a balcony to go out to feel the nature. I have set a double room to sit on the bed and watch the terraces. Each house has a different viewing experience! It would be better if you add an umbrella on the balcony, because it is rainy this season, and it is not convenient to see the scenery on the balcony when it rains. The raw fried ribs made by the male boss are particularly delicious. The fried mint leaves with the tender ribs in the outer and inner are very suitable for the rice noodles for breakfast. The sauce with meat and mushrooms is very fragrant! There are a lot of meat, and the rice noodles are full of a large bowl, which is very satisfying! "Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Good Exceeded expectations! The room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Parking was convenient right outside the door, and we had a direct view of the blue rice terraces from our room. It's only a few hundred meters from the Blue Terrace viewpoint, and you can go down into the terraces, though it costs extra. There were a lot of people there. The blue color depends on the weather – the color of the sky dictates the color of the terraces, so seeing the stunning blue terraces really depends on luck. It's about a one-kilometer walk to the Hatanpu viewpoint for sunset terraces, which I highly recommend as the colors are very rich. There's a rice field hotpot restaurant near the guesthouse with good food, reasonable prices, and generous portions. The upstairs seating has great views, highly recommended!"

"We traveled from Puzhehei to Yuanyang. By the time we reached the mountaintop hotel, the fog was getting thicker, so we didn't get to see the full panoramic view of the hotel. There's a gravel path in front of the hotel where you can park. **Service:** The hotel staff proactively helped us with our luggage, and the front desk was very welcoming. After checking in, they even gave us recommendations for visiting the various rice terraces, including the best viewing times and special features. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and they even had seating with terrace views, which was a nice touch. However, dinner was much less impressive; not only was it expensive, but the taste was also just mediocre. **Facilities:** The room was very spacious and high-quality, with complete amenities and good cleanliness. The bed was soft and comfortable. Our room had a balcony, but it didn't have a view. We also received welcome fruit and bedtime milk, which was a thoughtful gesture. **Environment:** The hotel is a moderate distance from the various rice terrace attractions, making it convenient to drive to. The roads can be a bit narrow, and it's easy to get stuck in traffic near the attractions, so be sure to plan your timing carefully. The room price is reasonable, offering good value for money. Facilities: The hotel, opened in 2023, boasts relatively new facilities, including smart toilets and a fully integrated smart home system. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The location is exceptional, offering panoramic views of the terraced fields. However, the road leading into the village is quite steep and winding, with sharp turns, so drivers need to be extra careful. Service: Extremely satisfied with the service. The staff members are all very genuine and hospitable, making you feel right at home. The red rice chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the coffee was also excellent. Don't miss their hot pot tea experience or their restaurant, where the dipping sauce chicken is absolutely scrumptious!😋 Already looking forward to my next visit!

Jacky's Guesthouse is the place to be in the area. Jacky is sooo helpful and really looks after his guests. Helped me make arrangements to get to the region after having to cross over from Vietnam. Then helped me make arrangements when I wanted to go to Xishangbanna. Even after I left he checked in to make sure I was doing ok on the road. The cozy lobby area was nice and could actually meet other travelers. You can also make arrangements for rides and trips around the region. Gives excellent hiking advice for guests who wanted to trek around the area. Beds are soft. Dinner here is amazing. The rooms are a little dated but clean. Great views from the rooftop. Tourists from other hotels came to the lobby to hangout as that was where the action is!

Highly, highly recommended! The room facilities are complete, and the air conditioning is very effective, keeping it perfectly warm – there's even an electric blanket. The owner is incredibly friendly, helping us book transportation and arrange a sunset viewing. The food was also delicious. We even got to see the Hani intangible cultural heritage water pipe tobacco. The location is excellent too; you can walk to Azheke Village, the Blue Terraces, and Hadaipu Terraces.

The room has a small air conditioner, and there's plenty of hot water. You can also catch beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the rooftop. They also offer traditional Hani ethnic clothing. The clothes feel really high-quality and substantial when you wear them – perfect for amazing photos. 😍😍 What's even better is that their food is truly delicious. My sister is quite a picky eater, but she absolutely loved their dipping sauce chicken! 👊👊 Finally, for watching the sunrise, you should definitely go to their village's viewing platform. It's much better than going to the paid scenic spots or other free, hidden corners. I hired a driver who took me to a free sunrise viewing spot that was quite remote, and the view wasn't great. After watching the sunrise there, we came back to the village. When we passed the viewing platform, I was stunned by the sight! ❗ You absolutely *must* go to the village's free viewing platform (it's incredible value for money).

So happy with this stay! High-end, modern facilities in the most incredible location. Felt more like a four star hotel. Some of the best pictures I got in Yuanyang were taken right on my balcony. The room was spacious, the staff were so helpful, and the hotel food was delicious. It's a bit more on the expensive side relative to nearby hotels, but I think it's well worth the money. Would definitely stay here again!

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

The hotel is located within Hani Town and is quite large, offering detached or semi-detached units with spacious rooms. However, the cleanliness outside the rooms was subpar; I smelled sewage as soon as I approached. The hotel service was generally poor. We arrived very late that night, and even after entering the hotel grounds, when I called the front desk for directions, they couldn't provide clear instructions. Someone did lead us to our room after we got the key card, but they didn't help with luggage. The next morning, since my child was still sleeping, I wanted to pack some breakfast to take back to the room, but this was not allowed. In summary: the hotel is a 30-40 minute drive from the attractions, but the facilities are good, so it's up to personal preference. Breakfast was sufficient but uninspired. Service was average, so don't expect too much.

We wanted to come here for the lasts days of our China trip, the view seemed amazing. And it is, but when you buy the guest room with view you don’t know which one you will have, they have put many pictures of different room in the booking section. So we had the one with the view over the sink and from the showers which is amazing (but when arriving I thought the view was from other side too). We arrived and it was foggy for the whole day, fortunately we booked threee night and the next day was sunny ! I didn’t know there is so much fog in this area so think about it. We had only two choice for restaurants because it’s very small (or they didn’t tell us more) and they are really delicious. I tried to have a lot of informations from the host to know what to do and how but it was not clear . I think they could to better to explain guest how to move around and visit. We had to go to the tourist center 20min away and have information. The room is confortable, heating bed and heating in the room (but the heater makes a lot of noises)

The room was very clean, with an electric blanket and fireplace for those cold days. The owner's conversation spoke volumes, revealing a cultured person. Curious, I asked, and it turned out he resigned from CCTV 20 years ago and secluded himself in the mountains, eventually turning his home into a B&B. I also saw this B&B on ***********. The owner must speak good English, as it's impossible to find the B&B without calling the owner. My son commented on the owner's hospitality, saying it was a must-see for kids. Unfortunately, it was foggy that morning, so we didn't get to see the beautiful sunrise, but that didn't affect the B&B's rating.

The boss is a lady from Henan Province. She is very welcoming. Before I left, she introduced a chartered car driver to me and reserved an electric blanket for my room. After arriving, we were introduced to the free viewing area and could order food and cook at any time. But to be honest, the room was still a bit cramped and there was barely enough space between the beds. I heard that the voltage on the mountain is unstable and there are always power outages. I also caught one this time🙈 The inn is not far from the Duoyishu Observation Deck, and it only takes ten minutes to walk there. There is a village below, where you can go down to the terraced fields and take a stroll. After I went there, I realized that the price and quality of accommodation at Yuanyang Rice Terraces vary greatly, especially during holidays, so it depends on your personal preference.
