Facilities: The hotel, opened in 2023, boasts relatively new facilities, including smart toilets and a fully integrated smart home system. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The location is exceptional, offering panoramic views of the terraced fields. However, the road leading into the village is quite steep and winding, with sharp turns, so drivers need to be extra careful. Service: Extremely satisfied with the service. The staff members are all very genuine and hospitable, making you feel right at home. The red rice chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the coffee was also excellent. Don't miss their hot pot tea experience or their restaurant, where the dipping sauce chicken is absolutely scrumptious!😋 Already looking forward to my next visit!

Jacky's Guesthouse is the place to be in the area. Jacky is sooo helpful and really looks after his guests. Helped me make arrangements to get to the region after having to cross over from Vietnam. Then helped me make arrangements when I wanted to go to Xishangbanna. Even after I left he checked in to make sure I was doing ok on the road. The cozy lobby area was nice and could actually meet other travelers. You can also make arrangements for rides and trips around the region. Gives excellent hiking advice for guests who wanted to trek around the area. Beds are soft. Dinner here is amazing. The rooms are a little dated but clean. Great views from the rooftop. Tourists from other hotels came to the lobby to hangout as that was where the action is!

Highly, highly recommended! The room facilities are complete, and the air conditioning is very effective, keeping it perfectly warm – there's even an electric blanket. The owner is incredibly friendly, helping us book transportation and arrange a sunset viewing. The food was also delicious. We even got to see the Hani intangible cultural heritage water pipe tobacco. The location is excellent too; you can walk to Azheke Village, the Blue Terraces, and Hadaipu Terraces.

The room has a small air conditioner, and there's plenty of hot water. You can also catch beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the rooftop. They also offer traditional Hani ethnic clothing. The clothes feel really high-quality and substantial when you wear them – perfect for amazing photos. 😍😍 What's even better is that their food is truly delicious. My sister is quite a picky eater, but she absolutely loved their dipping sauce chicken! 👊👊 Finally, for watching the sunrise, you should definitely go to their village's viewing platform. It's much better than going to the paid scenic spots or other free, hidden corners. I hired a driver who took me to a free sunrise viewing spot that was quite remote, and the view wasn't great. After watching the sunrise there, we came back to the village. When we passed the viewing platform, I was stunned by the sight! ❗ You absolutely *must* go to the village's free viewing platform (it's incredible value for money).

You have to park quite a distance from the hotel, and two ladies came to carry all of our bags - they were amazingly strong. As we approached the hotel I did wonder what it was going to be like - it's not very smart outside at all. Checking in was very easy. Our rooms were really nice with the most amazing view of the rice terraces. There were chairs on the balcony and two little sofas just inside. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine for our Chinese friends, a bit basic for westerners. We had a great stay in the area and were lucky with a lovely sunrise on the first morning.

Service: My tire pressure kept going off, so I called the owner to ask where I could get a tire repaired. He gave me two directions. We were turned away at the first one in Shengcun (it was closed). We were about to head down the mountain to the old county town when we saw another one at the exit of a one-way street and got the air in. After driving to the private parking lot, we called the B&B to come and help us with our luggage. A Hani woman swiftly carried our 17kg suitcase. The owner was gentle and versatile. Since it was raining, we decided to eat at the B&B. She prepared stir-fried chicken, a mushroom omelet, beetroot egg drop soup, and garlic chayote flowers, and even gave us fried peanuts to go with our drinks. Facilities: The room amenities were excellent, with Kohler bathroom fixtures. The only downside was the lack of a curtain around the toilet. Environment: The view of the terraced rice fields couldn't be better! I could sit on the balcony and watch the sea of ​​clouds. There's even a phone holder on the railing for time-lapse photography—a really thoughtful touch. It's about a ten-minute walk from the Duoyishu Observation Deck. Unfortunately, it rained both days we stayed there, so we didn't get to see either sunrise or sunset. There's a local dog named Guolai in the shop. He's so well-behaved, but he's trying to lose weight.

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

The hotel is architecturally beautiful, with a good location that offers some view of the terraces. However, due to unkempt vegetation, majority of the promised views have become obscured. Can still walk to the nearby public viewing platform 200m away for a better view. Service crew is prompt and tries to be as accommodating as possible. Have to understand that Yuanyang itself is a remote rural area with few buildings. For meals, there is no food delivery unlike other touristy areas. But, the hotel kitchen whips up very satisfying home cooked menu using fresh produce at an affordable price. We enjoyed the crispest and most delicious plate of stir fried cabbages here. More on the food, they do less oil less salt options that are still incredibly tasty and easier on a foreigner palette. Breakfast was simple and tried to focus on natural flavours of the produce, also meaning it had toddler friendly options.

We wanted to come here for the lasts days of our China trip, the view seemed amazing. And it is, but when you buy the guest room with view you don’t know which one you will have, they have put many pictures of different room in the booking section. So we had the one with the view over the sink and from the showers which is amazing (but when arriving I thought the view was from other side too). We arrived and it was foggy for the whole day, fortunately we booked threee night and the next day was sunny ! I didn’t know there is so much fog in this area so think about it. We had only two choice for restaurants because it’s very small (or they didn’t tell us more) and they are really delicious. I tried to have a lot of informations from the host to know what to do and how but it was not clear . I think they could to better to explain guest how to move around and visit. We had to go to the tourist center 20min away and have information. The room is confortable, heating bed and heating in the room (but the heater makes a lot of noises)

The room was very clean, with an electric blanket and fireplace for those cold days. The owner's conversation spoke volumes, revealing a cultured person. Curious, I asked, and it turned out he resigned from CCTV 20 years ago and secluded himself in the mountains, eventually turning his home into a B&B. I also saw this B&B on ***********. The owner must speak good English, as it's impossible to find the B&B without calling the owner. My son commented on the owner's hospitality, saying it was a must-see for kids. Unfortunately, it was foggy that morning, so we didn't get to see the beautiful sunrise, but that didn't affect the B&B's rating.
