"The environment here is great, and I really enjoyed my stay. When we checked out, the staff even gave us some small gifts. When we first checked in, there was plum juice available at the front desk, which I thought was a really nice touch, especially after driving all day. The room facilities are also excellent, and the location is very convenient for getting around, with attractions nearby. Plus, Pang Dong Lai is just diagonally opposite, which is fantastic."

"The hotel is right next to Angel City, and if you turn left upon exiting, you'll find the main entrance. Shopping is super convenient. There was a bit of noise when I first checked into the room in the afternoon, but it quieted down after 9:30 PM, so it didn't affect my sleep. The front desk staff was warm and polite, and they even gave me a thoughtful little gift (a notebook) when I checked out. Plus, I could use my membership benefits for a late check-out – highly recommend! 👍"

"Clean and hygienic, great value for money. The room was small but cozy and tidy, with a full set of good quality toiletries. The breakfast was quite substantial too.
The service attitude was excellent. They even gave us two bottles of yogurt upon check-in, and surprisingly, they offer multiple services including free car washing! It's the first time I've seen free car washing, very impressed 👍
Parking was also easy with plenty of spaces, and a security guard helped us with our luggage 🧳"

"The hotel is pretty good, and the room was quite spacious. I do have one suggestion, though. Most guests choose this hotel specifically to shop at Pang Dong Lai. While the hotel offers a concierge service to help deliver purchases, people usually buy a lot of heavy items. It feels a bit awkward and we don't feel comfortable having a young woman handle such heavy bags. So, I'd suggest having male concierges for this service. Everything else was great, and it's just across the road from Pang Dong Lai Angel City."

"We stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and the location is excellent and very convenient, with many shops just a short walk away.
The staff service was wonderful, especially the room service staff, “鸽姐”Her ever-smiling face made us feel truly at home. Every day when we returned to our room, we would find two hot drinks on the table along with a small handwritten note. Sometimes, she would even leave a message to let me know that she had helped wash my socks after noticing them on the floor. These thoughtful gestures really touched me and made me feel warm and cared for.
Another staff member, Mr. Wang Shuaiju (王帅举), welcomed us when we first arrived and also saw us off when we left. He was friendly and attentive, even reminding us to grab a hot drink before heading back to our room.
Overall, I felt very pleased and grateful for the excellent service throughout our stay."

"Needless to say, the location is next to Times Square, there are everything downstairs. The two computers in the room are very smooth, and there are privileges. There are actually GPW5 peripherals. Playing games and hand screens are silky. Dream lily mattress + silicone pillow + natural hall washing and care, after taking a shower, lying on the bed like returning to your own home. The refrigerator in the room is very large, and it is very suitable to buy things from Fat Dong. The hotel has its own parking lot, so you can drive by yourself. The new store environment is new and there is no smell, and the aunt cleans it carefully. The front desk service was particularly good. After the check-in, we brought our luggage and introduced the surrounding restaurants all the way. Next time you come to Xuchang, stay here."

Pangdonglai Restaurant, Cao Wei Ancient City, and Wenfeng Pagoda are all within walking distance. They offer white fungus tea upon check-in and a ”peace apple” upon departure… making us feel right at home. Thank you 🙏. My personal suggestion is to gradually upgrade and renovate the infrastructure to fully utilize its advantageous location."

"I was expecting for a reception employees to know a little bit of English. When arrived I was surprised that I have to find a way to translate everything to Chinese. Then next day this was corrected, and I found that they put an employee that knows a little bit of English to the reception. Also, for that type and size of hotel, it would be great that they have something for relaxation and training - either gym, or SPA, or pool, etc. Everything else was great and I could see that they were giving their best to make my stay pleasant."

The location is excellent — right in the city center, close to Pangdonglai, shops, restaurants, and public transportation, yet the area itself is quiet and comfortable for rest.
Check-in was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were polite, professional, and always willing to help. Even with limited English, communication was friendly and effective, which made the stay much easier.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-designed with a modern style. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the room was well soundproofed, allowing for a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay. The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure and complete amenities.
Breakfast exceeded expectations — a good variety of fresh and tasty dishes, suitable for both Chinese and international guests. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which was important for work and daily use.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, high service standards, and a comfortable environment. I highly recommend H Hotel (Xuchang Wuyi Road Pangdonglai Branch) for both business and leisure travelers visiting Xuchang.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I am currently visiting and do not speak a word of Chinese, which can usually make things stressful—but the team here made everything seamless.
We had to communicate entirely through a translator app, and the staff couldn't have been more patient or kind. I ran into a bit of a crisis where I needed same-day dry cleaning, and the reception team jumped into action immediately. They handled the situation with such grace and efficiency, ensuring my clothes were ready right when I needed them.
Why this hotel stands out:
• The Reception Team: All the girls at the front desk are absolute gems. They are professional, lovely, and never made me feel like my language barrier was a burden.
• True Hospitality: I felt welcomed from the second I arrived. Even the security guard at the entrance was incredibly friendly and helpful!
• Top-Notch Service: They go above and beyond to assist with any request, no matter how complex the ”lost in translation” moment might be.

What an Exceptional, Centrally Located, Grand Hotel; Location and Staff were superb. A great experience and decision for my needs. I enjoyed my short stay very much! Only wish I had more time to explore more of its amenities; but I will definitely return. The hotel is peaceful with no problem achieving a good night’s rest. In the middle of Tianyue Square; next to Wanda Mall, so at night it is very vibrant, social, and the whole area is illuminated and beautiful. The people of Xuchang are extremely polite and respectful & this extends to the lovely, young and helpful staff. Only slight feedback would be attention to detail when cleaning (but I am a clean freak), changing the TV to English and I struggled with WiFi the entire time. A place of peace and security nonetheless especially during a busy business excursion. Comfort 10/10; Location 10/10; Amenities 8/10; Standard; 9/10. I will improve my Chinese to improve our interpersonal relations. If I could, I would keep this place to myself. See you soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ your friend 宝贵的

Guest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay! The room was more spacious and brighter than I expected, with a simple and modern decor that looked new and clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view overlooking the city streets. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, and the hot water flow was fast and consistent.
The details were also very thoughtful: multiple charging ports were provided, the mini-fridge was well-stocked with drinks, and there were complimentary tea bags and coffee. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick. The location was also very convenient, within walking distance of the subway station and surrounding shopping areas.
It's great value for money, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

From the welcome at the front desk to the parking lot, everything is in place, very friendly, and the hardware configuration is also very comprehensive. Breakfast was not included when booking, but the front desk took the initiative to give it to me and said that breakfast was 29 yuan per person. I didn't expect much at first, but unexpectedly the breakfast was very rich! I really stayed at a treasure hotel. I couldn’t help but ask the lady at the front desk if the hotel had anything to do with Fat Donglai. Of course I got a negative answer🤣The reason why I asked this was really because of their service It can be called the ”Fat Dong Lai” in the hotel industry, haha.

Arizona EdThis is a wonderful property! The staff are very friendly and the location works very well for me. My only concern is that smoking is allowed in the hotel. I believe it is that way in all of China. I think Hotels should not allow any smoking but short of that, they should designate at least one or two floors as completely, not smoking. Cigarette smoke has been proven to be deadly to both the smoker and those people are around them. It is unhealthy and it just smells bad. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping and the security gentleman outside are all wonderful people and have made me feel very welcome here.
