"I brought my kids to Tianshui and booked this hotel because of the 2-meter bed. First, let's talk about the location. It's a bit far from popular attractions like the ancient city and Fuxi Temple. There's an uphill slope from the main road to the hotel, which isn't ideal for those who don't like walking. Across the road, there's a downhill path leading to residential areas where there's a morning market, which is much better than tourist-heavy streets like Yusheng Lane. The hotel service was excellent. There was an aroma diffuser outside our room that sprayed every once in a while, and the scent was very strong. After I reported it to the staff, they unplugged the machine for us, as we couldn't stay in the room otherwise. I also suggested they change the scent, as it was too sweet, cloying, and overpowering. The facilities are quite comprehensive. Although the gym isn't big, it's sufficient, and the equipment is all new. The availability of towels, water, coffee, and tea was a big plus. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast on the first day was good, but not so much on the second. I ordered wontons first and then went to get other dishes. When I went to pick up the wontons, they said they were out and gave me noodles instead. There was one fried egg left, and one side was burnt. When I asked the chef to fry another one, he said the machine was broken... I'm not sure if it was really broken or if he just didn't want to turn it on for one egg. Breakfast was advertised until 10 AM, but the yogurt was gone by 9 AM."

"Had a great stay. It was off-season, so there weren't many tourists in Tianshui. The B&B is located inside the ancient city, with unique decor. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of food options. The water heating system ensures no cold water, so it's instantly hot even in winter. The heating was excellent, felt like central air conditioning, and it wasn't noisy. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Fuxi Temple is not far away. A quick note on parking: there are two underground parking garages nearby. One is the Ancient City parking lot, and the other is the Cuijiaxiang parking lot. Strangely, the location the B&B gave me led me to Cuijiaxiang the first night, but then the same location led me to the Ancient City parking lot when I left. The Ancient City lot seemed a tiny bit closer. Both aren't too far, but it's best to confirm with the owner directly. I was contacted proactively by the host around 7 PM on the night I arrived in Tianshui. If you're visiting for tourism, I highly recommend staying here!"

"Hotel is new so everything is new and clean. For this price point, its value for money. Walking distance to Fuxi Temple and the old town 天水古城. Very accessible location. We had issues with our initial booking and move here last minute, despite only one staff manning the front desk, she processed our booking（5 rooms) very quickly. The drawback was a bad sewage smell in my room toilet, as it was too late and I was sleepy, i didnt change room. The smell is not noticeable when the toilet door is closed. Other rooms dont have this issue."

"The homestay is in the ancient city. There is a yard. Although it is not very big, the trees and flowers are designed and planted very carefully. Fortunately, it is the purple myrtle flower. I really like it. Our room is on the first floor, the room is small, if you are a 28-inch box, the passage in the room is blocked after opening and putting it down, but the furniture and supplies in the room are exquisite and quality. The bedside table is equipped with earplugs and hot eye masks. The room is full on the night of the stay. The yard is a bit noisy. The earplugs are just used. However, the morning in the small courtyard is very quiet. I open the door and want to have breakfast. The kitten with the hotel did not stay in the cage and lay lazy in the yard. Breakfast was arranged in the Qin sister shop outside. Jiugongge food box, the staple food is small, I am not full, the cushion is OK. The ancient city opened the store late in the morning, I walked on the street around 8 o'clock and didn't open it, but there was a breakfast shop out of the ancient city, not far away. If you drive over, you can park in the ancient city parking lot designated by the hotel. The license plate number can be temporarily entered and free to enter and exit. The parking lot arrived at the hotel a few turns. I pushed my luggage and walked there, not feeling far away. Also, walking out of the ancient city is Fuxi Temple, which is convenient to play. I like the homestay very much, recommended."

"I have high hopes for Haiyou Hotel. The staff told me it's the fourth fully self-service 1.0 Haiyou Hotel in the country, which feels very advanced. The lobby facilities are complete, the room design is simple, and in terms of cleanliness, it's definitely the king of hotels in this price range. Self-service check-in, self-service laundry, self-service takeout lockers, self-service breakfast, self-service luggage storage, self-service beverage lockers, self-service toiletries, self-service coffee, soy milk, and hot water—and the drinking water is purified! Highly recommended! The entire hotel only needs one staff member and one security guard. On the evening of my check-in, a cute staff member with a slightly flushed face (I think his name was Xiao Ma) provided excellent service and helped solve many problems. The staff member at check-out the next day was also very friendly; the staff all seemed to be in great spirits."

"This was the second Mercure hotel on our trip, and overall, the facilities were quite good. **Facilities:** The hotel is well-equipped. The lobby is clean and bright. As expected from an Accor property, the decor style and design elements are largely consistent. What truly stood out was that on each floor's common area, right outside the elevator, there was a row of complimentary bottled water. This is quite rare in other hotels and very convenient for guests to grab. Breakfast is served on the 21st floor, offering a panoramic view and a great sense of openness. On another note, staying on the 14th floor, the water pressure was a bit low, and the shower felt like it didn't have enough flow. **Hygiene:** The room's cleanliness was generally acceptable, but I found a long hair stuck to a tile in the bathroom. It felt like the cleaning wasn't thorough, which was a bit off-putting. Also, there was a small tear on the bed linen. I'm not sure if it was an oversight, but ideally, it should have been replaced. **Service:** The hotel's front desk manager took my feedback very seriously. "I brought my parents, who are in their 70s, to visit Maiji Mountain. The hostess was incredibly warm and attentive. After arriving at the North Gate 1 of the Maiji Mountain scenic area, we just made a call and she came directly to pick us up and take us to the guesthouse. The room was spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. For dinner, we had mushroom stew with free-range chicken and stir-fried wild vegetables – truly delicious! 😋 The next day, she dropped us off at the entrance of the Maiji Mountain scenic spot at 7:30 AM, so we were the first ones to go in at 8:30 AM. After our visit, we saw a super long queue had already formed outside. Afterward, we took a taxi to explore Xianren Cliff and Jingtu Temple. Finally, the hostess even drove our luggage to the Line 34 bus stop to drop us off. It was a truly perfect day, so relaxed and easy.
