The guesthouse is located in Ma 'an, Pingyan Village, Linxi Town, Sanjiang County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi.Ma 'an Village is a beautiful traditional village of Dong people in Chengyang Bazhai Scenic Spot (you need to pay the entrance fee for the scenic spot -- only pay once for your stay). There are 4 traditional wooden buildings of Dong nationality more than 100 years old in the Guesthouse. The designer is Fengzi from South Africa. His work -- Yangshuo Secret Garden Hotel -- was awarded the China Rural Heritage Hotel by the World Heritage Organization ICOMOS in 2018 (only five hotels in the country were selected at a time); With reception, small restaurant bar, provide self-service laundry, dry clothes service.At present, the room is located in four buildings. The field side building faces the rice field with a good view. There are standard rooms and luxury suites. The slogan of the 1960s and 1970s is still on the exterior of the Slogan House and Culture House; The Tea Tree Building is behind the slogan building, which houses the restaurant and two rooms. "I traveled with my family and carefully planned our trip, choosing to visit Chengyang Eight Villages. The experience was fantastic; there was no commercial marketing, and you could genuinely see the lives of the local Dong people. Staying at Nanyi Homestay was the best choice we made during our trip. The stilted houses here perfectly preserve the authentic way of life. The owners, Lao Liang and Xiao Chen, were incredibly welcoming, and the food was super delicious, especially the local duck – I highly recommend trying it! The breakfast was also plentiful, and they even booked a ”Hundred Families Banquet” for us. We felt the warmth and hospitality of the Dong people. It was my first time escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to such a tranquil and secluded little world. The hospitality of the people of Guangxi was truly touching. I will definitely come back again. I wish the owners great success in their business and all the best."

"I searched online for a long time before choosing this Qiaotou B&B. We went there in March and thought it was the off-season and we wouldn't be able to see much, but to our surprise it was the time when rape flowers were in full bloom. The room has two viewing platforms. From the large viewing platform, you can see a large area of rapeseed flowers. It is very close to Chengyang Yongji Bridge, the landmark building of Chengyang Bazhai. The room also has a view of the night view of Chengyang Yongji Bridge."

"The new house has the smell of wood, but no strange smell. It has floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can be awakened by the sounds of birds singing, flowing water, and roosters crowing in the early morning. Outside the window are rice fields and the Dong village. The room is very clean and there is mountain spring water nearby, from which everyone in the village gets water. When I left, I forgot my charger and facial cleanser, so the lady boss sent them to me. She is a very nice and welcoming person."

"It wasn't as great as people said online. After all, it's just in a county town, and it's still quite expensive for the price. The hardware and decor are indeed very good, but the flow within the building is a bit chaotic, and overall, there's not much in terms of service. There's a doorman, but they wouldn't let me check in first; instead, they made me park the car and then come back up. I stood at the front desk for a long time, and no one bothered to ask if I needed help, or if I was even in the right line. With a bunch of luggage in my hands, no one offered to assist me or anything. The laundry service ends too early, and since there isn't a self-service laundry room like in budget hotels, I ended up having to handwash clothes with soap and hang them in the bathroom, just like 10-15 years ago. The underground parking lot was wet everywhere with water stains, though it had been raining heavily in Sanjiang those days. The window soundproofing is poor; the frogs and insects outside were very loud at night. The hallway soundproofing isn't great either; you can hear doors opening and closing. The air conditioning is terrible; it's too cold, and I couldn't adjust the temperature higher. Plus, there's no screen on the window, which was very uncomfortable. In short, it looks nice on the outside, and the rooms are pretty too, but that's about it. Quite disappointing."

"The location is fantastic, right by the Wind-Rain Bridge, allowing you to fully enjoy the famous bridge from the balcony and windows.
The hygiene is excellent. The room comes with a sterilizing cabinet for self-sterilizing teaware and bowls. The bathroom is equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, and you can also use the alcohol wipes provided by the owner for disinfection. There are also disposable towels, showing great consideration for hygiene.
The tables, chairs, and bed frames in the guesthouse are all made of raw wood, which is very unique. You can tell a lot of thought went into it.
The guesthouse doesn't include breakfast. It was raining that day, so we couldn't go out to eat. We asked the landlady to cook us a few bowls of lean pork noodles with greens and fried eggs. When it was time to pay, she insisted on not charging us. She said that there was an issue with the hot water the night before, and a technician from the county didn't fix it until after 11 PM. She felt sorry for us and said that a few bowls of noodles couldn't make up for it. Her sincerity was truly touching.
We'll definitely stay at Sanjiang Drum Tower Guesthouse again next time."

"Passing through Sanjiang, this last-minute booking turned out to be a wonderful surprise. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and the view from the window was stunning. A thoughtful touch was a book in the room about the local Sanjiang Dong ethnic group, offering insights into their culture. Children's toothbrushes and slippers were also thoughtfully provided. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options; we particularly enjoyed trying the local specialty, Sanjiang Youcha, which was quite good. Xiao Yang at the front desk provided exceptional service, and the two staff members in the restaurant were also incredibly helpful. Their service truly deserves high praise! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit."

There are also storage baskets and cleaning spare parts in place. You don’t have to worry about changing laundry when you travel. You can wash and dry anytime and anywhere. It is too friendly to tourists traveling long-distance. In order to stagger March 3, I specially came to Sanjiang one day in advance. Because the time is relatively compact, I found this hotel. The hotel is on the side of the square and the location is very good. Take the 4 bus from the high-speed rail station to the Gulou Square station and get off. The front desk was very welcoming and the stay was very smooth. The room is not bad overall, there are things to have, hot water is enough. Although it is on the side of the square, it will not be noisy at night. This hotel has an elevator, don't worry about climbing the stairs with luggage. The hotel is crossing the road to the Bird's Nest, and going to the square is the Sanjiang Drum Tower. It is not far from the Sanjiang Fengyu Bridge and Yiyang Fengyu Bridge. There is a shared electric car at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient to play in the county seat. There are many gourmet snacks around the hotel, and the fireworks are very full at night. You can try oil tea and burdock soup. By the way, the beautiful boss has Sanjiang black tea and green tea. It is delicious and not expensive. If you need it, you must try it!

Guest UserOur stay at Sanjiang Juyoulou Inn was great and the Inn owners are a sweet, amazing couple that helped us out a lot!
We wanted to learn about the local handcraft and the owner helped us to organise a lesson in Chinese embroidery through some of his contacts, which was so cool! They also helped us to book places for the banquet and the festivities at the drum tower, which, through a collab, is also cheaper than if we had booked them ourselves :)
On our last day, we left for the rice terraces in a even more rural area, and the owner explained us exactly - with a sweet hand-written note - how to get there with the different busses we needed to take. He also drove us to the first bus stop in his personal car for free. Amazing and kind people, a beautiful room and a nice view :)

民宿所處位置環境超級棒，天然氧吧，適合節假日休閑度假、發呆放鬆。老闆娘是典型的廣西女人，勤勞務實，房間衞生都是自己打掃，房間整潔衞生，床品乾淨舒適。自駕電車的，可以跟老闆娘商量提供充電樁（慢充，有償使用）。硬件算不得高檔小資，但勝在務實夠用、細節取勝，心思花在刀刃上。我們大晚上十一點才摸黑趕到，坐在露台上，一泡下肚，一天的疲憊隨風而去。衹是來去匆匆，沒能深度體驗，有點遺憾。

Right after crossing Yongji Bridge, this hotel is nestled in the heart of the village. It's incredibly convenient for visiting the Drum Tower and other attractions in Ma'an Village. The hotel has an elevator, which is a huge plus for guests with luggage. Each room boasts a unique style, and the views from the top floor are absolutely stunning. They even have smart toilets and Dyson hairdryers. Plus, disposable towels and other amenities are provided. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel has complete facilities and hot water! The room is very clean and the guest house lady is very welcoming. She says hello when we meet! The front desk service is very satisfactory and enthusiastic. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in the scenic area. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to other stockades. Self-driving friends can not buy sightseeing tickets. You can drive in by car. It is very convenient. The security guard will say two words when driving in the door. Just contact the boss by phone. Just arrange a parking space for the boss. The price is very high, the facilities are a bit old, but the price is there, clean and hygienic, others can be considered.
