I stayed for two days. The room was very clean. The bath towels, bathrobes and face towels were all packed in plastic bags, and there were also disposable ones. The running water and drinks in the room were free and replenished the next day. The face tissues were also wet. I liked the robot service the most. In order to let the robot serve more times, I stayed for two days and ordered takeout four times. The experience was super friendly and interesting! Breakfast and lunch are free and self-service, and the taste is also good. When I left, I was given a box of tea as a souvenir. I will choose this place next time I come!

The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

This is a newly opened hotel. **Facilities:** New, though some items are of lower quality, like the kettle. They have automatic toilets. **Hygiene:** Clean. **Environment:** Spacious and grand. **Service:** Enthusiastic. The breakfast is plentiful and offers great value for money. They offer three meals a day, and even though I didn't have time to try them all, I could sense the owner's generosity and pioneering spirit. I sincerely hope their management improves, and their business thrives.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Tea Horse Ancient City. Just a 100-meter walk downstairs brings you to the Bonfire Square, where you can watch and participate in evening dancing. A few steps further brings you to the Tea Horse Ancient City Night Market, where visitors can stroll, eat, and have fun. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, with a small balcony perfect for enjoying the view, tea, and conversation. The proprietress is dedicated, down-to-earth, hardworking, and warmly attentive.

My overall stay was very pleasant. The service was warm and attentive, and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The location is convenient, with a small shopping street nearby, and the surrounding area is very quiet. The view from my room during the day was also excellent. Since it was raining, I wasn't really in the mood to visit attractions. While exploring downstairs, I noticed a tea house within the hotel, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy some tea. Sitting by the flowing water, reading a book, and sipping tea was a truly unique and delightful experience. 🤭

If you book early, you can also get a free horseback riding experience. The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of ​​clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. What else do you want a bicycle?

Extremely satisfied! The place was clean and tidy, and the room was immaculate. The service was exceptional; it's rare to encounter such a wonderful owner who truly anticipates and addresses guests' needs. Absolutely fantastic! It's also quite close to the station, and the owner was very prompt with pick-up and drop-off, couldn't ask for more. Definitely a five-star review, highly recommend staying here. Four-star hotel in the county, cost-effective experience~~ The appearance of the hotel is very special. There is a small balcony outside the window full of green plants. You can see the scenery from afar. On a sunny day, open the curtains and look at the flowers and plants. The mood sunshine index will improve. The room was spacious, the beds and supplies were comfortable, and there was a large cloakroom. Hotel service is very good, white fungus peach gum will be provided at night, placed on the first floor for personal self-service, I originally felt that this value-added service did not have to look forward to it too much, I didn't expect to drink a sip and found that the real materials are very full and very careful! The hotel buffet breakfast is also good, the variety is rich, and I also drank the rare peanut soup. The staff I met were very good. From the chef of the powder shop, other staff in the restaurant, the staff responsible for the room cleaning to the front desk lady, everyone greeted the guests friendlyly and responded.

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.
