"I booked this hotel for my wife, who is Chinese. I wasn't allowed to use my trip coins. She was in town to register our Hong Kong marriage at the Hukou office. The room they booked her into was not the one that was advertised. I booked a panoramic double room but what is shown in the pictures is not what she received.
I suspect because she is Chinese she was downgraded. She said the room was old and not good. They did switch her to another room for an upgrade but it still looked like the same type of room. It was very small when compared to the pictures on trip.com.
At first, we thought this was a hotel we could stay at again when I come to Anhui to visit her family. After her experience, we will probably not stay here. I have very high standards and always expect to get what I pay for. Additionally, her reservation included the free breakfast buffet. She said the breakfast was low quality.
Also, the reservation included a free gift. She did not receive a free gift, as promised."

"The room was spotless, with perfect amenities: underfloor heating, air conditioning, a humidifier, a lush potted plant, and wooden furniture throughout. The bathroom was enormous, with a bathtub and shower. The towels were thick, and the disposable toiletries were of high quality. I loved the rustic yet luxurious feel. The only downside was that both pillows were too soft; most high-end guesthouses and chain hotels like Atour offer one firm and one soft pillow, or latex pillows. Perhaps because it was winter, the welcome fruit was rather ordinary.
The restaurant was next door, like a five-star establishment, but the prices were reasonable. The crispy rice with sauce was 38 yuan and tasted good.
The service was slightly unprofessional and lacked enthusiasm. The room included many special activities, but the front desk neither introduced them nor reminded us; we had to ask for them ourselves. We didn't even get to try the frisbee, which was a bit of a shame.
There's a small lake nearby, perfect for walks. Under the blue sky, the sun was warm, red plum blossoms were in full bloom, and birds were singing—very relaxing. The fishing activity was more interesting than expected; both the children and adults were happy, probably because they caught fish. It would probably be even more fun in the summer."

I called the front desk to ask if they had toothbrushes for children. The front desk hesitated and asked my companion for a long time before telling me that yes, but when the toothbrushes were delivered to the room, I was told that I would need to pay an extra 20 yuan for children's toothbrushes. I was a little surprised, because I have stayed in hotels of all sizes and this was the first time I heard this. Maybe I have too little experience. In the end, they gave me an adult toothbrush. Because we checked in late, there were not many guests checking in at that time. There were three people in total checking in, and there were two people queuing in front. At the beginning, there was only one check-in window at the front desk, and there was someone at the counter next to it, but she did not invite us to check in. Instead, she took the initiative to ask if she could check in at her place, and then she said yes. After all, bringing children so late at night must want to check in early and rest early, so the proactive service awareness needs to be improved. There was a strange noise coming from the air outlet of the air conditioner in the other room. The rooms are nice and the food is also good. The hotel is located inside a natural park with beautiful surroundings. 10min walking you have a playground for kids. You can also do some short trekking to the top of a pagoda. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis was a spontaneous trip, just an hour's drive from Hefei. The environment is exactly as advertised, truly the best hotel in the Daiao Mountain scenic area. The most pleasant surprise was the service; someone came to help with our luggage as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, and welcome fruits were already set up in our room. Our two days at the hotel were quiet and relaxing. We even made traditional Chinese medicine sachets, which had a very healing scent, and enjoyed a singing bowl session. The distant sound of the bells 🔔 was quite memorable. A special shout-out to Buyun Restaurant – we ate there two days in a row! The breakfast had a wide variety and beautiful presentation, and the specialty dishes for lunch and dinner were delicious. There was a 30-minute wait for food, which just showed that everything was freshly cooked to order. On the second day, we hiked up Daiao Mountain, reaching the summit in 30 minutes – the perfect amount of exercise.

She also asked a little brother to help us carry our luggage. Dinner and breakfast were also eaten here. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was OK. The children on the upper and lower floors of the room were very excited. Unfortunately, the fog was very big. The stars and sunrise were not seen, but the child saw such a big white fog for the first time, saying that we lived in the cloud. The room facilities are very new and the grade is very high. The children want to live upstairs, but the stairs are not particularly safe. Some are steep. Children who are too small need to pay attention to safety outside the big personality. The scenery outside is good, a few big maple Yang, a small river, and fish in the river.
Looking at the breakfast problem mentioned in other comments, anyway, our experience is very good, there are soup powder, wontons, porridge, corn, yam, spring rolls, bean paste buns, eggs, oranges, the type is definitely not comparable to the self-service of star hotels, but the taste is very good, very clean.

The housekeeper replied to any questions on WeChat very quickly. The hotel is in a valley. The cicadas are very loud in midsummer, but the sound insulation is quite good when the door is closed. It has not been open for long. The overall hardware facilities are good. However, there is no USB charging port. I was a little dumbfounded as I only brought a data cable. The kids like the outdoor swimming pool very much and have a lot of fun. There is breakfast, but there is no other table meal except for the small hot pot. You have to drive out to eat. The hot spring pool is not open. You can experience it in winter next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated alongside a gorgeous lake and mountainside. It's a very quiet, peaceful area perfect for getaways from the city of Hefei. I don't know
if there is a whole lot to see around the general area, so I don't think the area itself is worth it if one is coming outside of Anhui. I rode up here on my motorcycle and was able to ride through quaint small villages and towns. There are hilly, foresty areas here, but I would caution both motorcyclists and car drivers to be aware of sudden, extremely steep hills especially up in the high mountains. I found the people working at the hotel friendly even though they didn't speak English at all. The young girl in particular was very helpful in helping me get set up with dinner and check in. There are virtually no other restaurants, convenience stores or supermakerkets in the nearby area, so I would recommend stocking up on snacks while riding around the area
