"pros: 1. Located in city center and walkable to everywhere. 2. Free transportation from and to the port 3. Bed and room cleanness is okay Cons: 1. "Paid just over a thousand for a lake-view room, and honestly, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in for this price point. My main issues are twofold: First, the breakfast selection was very limited, and the peanuts weren't even fresh – they actually served stale food! Second, there was a horrible mildew smell coming from the sink drain in the room, which was really off-putting. The only silver lining was that there's a duty-free shop right downstairs, which made shopping very convenient!"

My stay was excellent; the bed was big and the bedding very clean. It completely surpasses any hostel I've stayed at in mainland China – truly friendly and comfortable for a solo traveler. My three days in Kinmen were so relaxing. Next time, I'll pick a sunny day to come again! And I'll definitely stay here again; this place is genuinely great!! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)"

"Super cost-effective! Located in the city center, there are restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets downstairs. The living space is large, and it is very comfortable for one person or three people. There is a small balcony. There is a refrigerator and two sinks. The hot water for bathing is very stable. The corridor looks like a school dormitory. I miss school. It is quiet and I didn't hear anyone passing by outside the house."

At present, there are no hotels in China that use keys to open the door, but they still use keys to open the door, which is a bit uncomfortable. I forgot to lock the door before going out several times, and ran back to lock the door. The sound insulation is not good, and the guests outside can hear the conversation clearly. The washbasin only has a basin, no table. The dry and wet separation of the bathroom is only a curtain, not separated by glass. The view outside the window is good and feels great."

"It was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️"

TTaozigoBefore visiting Kinmen, I searched for numerous B&Bs on various apps and finally found this newly opened one that was both stylish and comfortable. I learned that the owners' family is involved in architectural soft furnishings and graphic design. No wonder it felt so cozy and comfortable. The decor is clean and stylish, retaining many traditional architectural elements while maintaining a modern feel. Of course, the price is a bit high, but within an acceptable range, it's a very good stay. The owners were very welcoming and attentive, patiently asking about breakfast times and helping me keep track of ferry schedules even though the typhoon had canceled sailings. I'm very grateful and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kinmen.

The service is also very good, the two young ladies are also very warm and friendly, the smile is super sweet, will take the initiative to introduce the history of Golden Gate, fun places and delicious things, and will help us exchange Taiwan dollars. Breakfast provides Golden Gate special pancakes, leek boxes, etc. There are also fruit plates, juice iced coffee, mung bean simi dew is also super delicious!

GGuest UserWhen we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk to Jincheng Station. There are also several good restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Compared to hotels near the station, I think this hotel offers a quiet environment while also providing enough convenience. The homestay has 3 floors, but I live on the ground floor and have never been upstairs; looking at the skylight feels really nice! In addition, if you rent an electric scooter, you may have to park it nearby instead of outside the house. If you have plans, you should communicate with the B&B in advance.

GGuest UserThe B&B has an excellent location. You can walk to the train station, and there are tons of must-try eateries nearby, so you'll have no problem finding great food. The owners are super enthusiastic and gave me fantastic recommendations for sightseeing routes. They're always happy to answer any questions clearly. The breakfast changes daily, and I highly recommend option number one – it's delicious! The soundproofing in the room is also good, and overall, it's very clean and comfortable.

知知足常楽It is located across the crosswalk in front of Jincheng Bus Terminal. The inside was very clean. The staff could speak basic Japanese and were very kind. When I checked in, they gave me a prepaid card (2 x 35 NTD) that could be used at Family Mart 😍 It was spacious and stylish. There is no refrigerator or safety deposit box. There is a large shared refrigerator at the reception on the second floor that you can use. There is a folding chair hanging on the wall. The table is also foldable. The shower had enough water and temperature. I wonder why Taiwan doesn't separate the dry and wet areas (no partition between the shower and toilet). It was a much more comfortable accommodation than I imagined from the outside of the building. It's also great that it's right in front of Jincheng Bus Terminal!
