"Extremely satisfied! I booked my stay on ***** New Year's Eve quite early. Originally, the owner wasn't planning on operating and wanted to close for the holiday, but they still accepted our booking and hosted us. We arrived around 8 or 9 PM that evening, and the owner was waiting for us and even presented us with a blessed Hada (******* ceremonial scarf). Before arriving, I called ahead to ask if dinner was available. The owner's chef was on holiday, so they arranged for the restaurant next door to wait for us, where we had a delicious clear yak meat hot pot. The hotel room's overall decor is in the ******* style, which my parents loved, and the price during the Chinese New Year period was very reasonable. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and his wife. They even asked about our planned departure time so they could get up and wait for us. The dumplings 🥟 were delicious, and the owner's wife thoughtfully gave a small red envelope 🧧 to the child. So considerate! Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy. The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming! The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"The male receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic and proactively helped with our luggage and directed us to parking. They have their own private courtyard, which made parking very convenient. He was always ready to assist and even anticipated our needs, preparing things in advance – highly commendable! The hygiene was excellent; you can tell they put a lot of effort into creating a guesthouse with unique charm. I highly recommend it!"

"New hotel, very clean. The electric toilet seat is heated and comfortable to use, with a bidet function! 😆 The room is very spacious. However, there's no air conditioning, fridge, or bath mat (which is fine, I can live with it, haha). The staff at reception were great and even drove me back when I checked out. Don't expect much from breakfast, you get a boiled egg. But for me, that's enough to get by."

"The hotel's location is decent, not too far from the town center on foot. There aren't many restaurants around, but there's a ******* restaurant downstairs. The staff were very welcoming and proactively helped with luggage since there's no elevator. However, if you're checking out early in the morning, you'll have to carry your own bags down, which is a minor drawback. The room itself was pretty standard, with all the necessary amenities. Since it was winter, there weren't many tourists, and it wasn't noisy at night despite being on the street. I'm not sure if it gets loud during peak season. The exterior doesn't look like much, but the interior decor is quite modern. The bedding was relatively clean, though some of the sheets were torn – they should pay more attention to details. Overall, the value for money is still good, and I recommend staying here."

"Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S. Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience. Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room. Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique. If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

"This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!"

"The room was big, clean, and beautiful with everything we needed. Everything felt modern, convenient, and easy to use. The owner, her kids, and the staff were amazing. They helped us so much even though we don’t speak Chinese and always booked Ubers for us. Her kids were super cute and friendly and tried to play with us. The staff’s service was excellent. Even after breakfast hours they made sure we had something to eat. They replied to messages quickly and were always there whenever we needed help. They even helped us find train tickets. Staying here was completely worth it. I can’t say enough how much I loved it."

GGuest UserThe hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible. Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

GGuest UserMy friend has been recommending this hotel to me since he came here last year. After experiencing it, I feel that it is indeed worthy of its reputation! It has been open for four or five years. The facilities and equipment of the ******* house are well maintained. The beds in the room are very soft and comfortable, and the sanitary environment of the entire manor is also very good. The service of the housekeeper and the restaurant is even better. The most comfortable thing is that when you meet the hotel staff on the road, they will greet you warmly, and you really feel at home. I heard that autumn is the most beautiful time here. Next time you have a chance, you must come and see it! See the spring scenery once and the autumn scenery once

AAnonymous UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money, far exceeding my expectations. 1️⃣ The hostess is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, reminding us of all the little details. 2️⃣ The twin beds are huge, easily accommodating two people, and the room comes with a humidifier with a very clean water tank (a lifesaver for allergy sufferers like me). 3️⃣ Even with just an AC and an electric blanket, it was incredibly warm. No worries about catching a cold. For someone like me who can't stand direct AC wind, I just set it to the lowest fan speed and still felt perfectly cozy. The bathroom's heated fan (Yuba) was also very powerful. 4️⃣ We had dinner at the hotel, and the hotpot dipping sauce was absolutely delicious! 😋 Plus, the vegetables had a subtle sweetness (first time ever experiencing that, and I loved it!). The whole set meal was more than enough for two people. 5️⃣ The rooms are equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, towels, and more – a dream come true for germaphobes! 6️⃣ The charging station isn't in the hotel's parking lot, but it's very close, just a 2-minute walk away. 7️⃣ It's about a 5-minute drive to the Dagu Glacier scenic area, making it perfect for those traveling by car. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

TTbh$This resort is suitable for families with kids as the interior design was amazing, relaxing and warming. The room was big and clean while all the accessories were brand new and we can enjoy movie time with a big projector although my son and daughter enjoyed the swing more. We reached there at night and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The delicious breakfast was served by a friendly and sweet receptionist - 阿依. The resort also includes a reading corner on the second floor of the cafe and is suitable for those who like to take photos. Anyone who is looking for a short trip at Dagu Glacier, can consider this resort, it's worth it.

It's very close to the scenic area, and the owner arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. We loved the style of our room—it was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was adjustable and provided warmth, so we didn't feel cold at night! It was super cozy! It's a whole guesthouse with its own courtyard, and the owner was very welcoming—they even helped us with our luggage! So thoughtful! I'd definitely book this guesthouse again next time I come back. GGuest UserThe room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel. When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

We booked for 3 rooms with twin bed, once arrived the hotel, the receptionist greeted us with Thai word “Sawasdee krab” that was so kind and touched our mind. He provided us more information with Thai translation and made us more understanding. The room was clean, big size high ceiling and well prepared. There was electricity blankets provided so we all slept well and charged the energy for the next day. It was nice to have a chance to stay in this lovely hotel!!!

GGuest UserComfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue. The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride. Highly recommended

NnalzanarmiThis place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

Parking was convenient, and downstairs there were restaurants with fresh ingredients, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back again.
